Specialties

Citywide Math and Science Institute provides math and science tutorial services to students in grades 5 through college, including adults. We provide one-​on-​one personalized instruction, as well as small group instruction.

Math subjects include pre-​algebra, algebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculus.

Science subjects include biology, chemistry, physics, organic chemistry, and anatomy & physiology.

History

Established in 2011.

The co-​founders of Citywide Math and Science Institute have been in the industry for over 20 years. They formed Citywide to meet the rising need of supplemental instruction in math and science education.

Meet the Business Owner

Chalon — Nneka K.

Business Owner

Co-​founder Chalon Downs, M.S. has a Master of Science degree in Molecular Pathobiology. She is an adjunct instructor at Delaware County Community College where she teaches Biology.

Co-​founder Nneka Kirkland, M.Ed. has a Master of Education degree in Secondary Math Education. She is an adjunct instructor at Temple University where she teaches Precalculus.

The co-​founders of Citywide Math and Science Institute are co-​authors of a worldwide goodwill book titled «Amazing Grades: 101 Best Ways to Improve Your Grades Faster.» The chapters of the book are written by 101 authors from 13 countries around the world. Chalon wrote a chapter on mastering Chemistry. Nneka wrote a chapter on mastering Precalculus.
