Galaxy Tans

I have been to a few salons in the area. This one has a lot of different options — including different beds and spray tanning. I was a little bit annoyed when I first went in because they have a coupon on the internet for a free tan your first time (which is usual for most salons) and they told me it wasn’t valid. It kind of seemed like a scam to me to get people in there. I like using a free tan the first time so I can base what I want to do in the future off of it. Their prices are pretty reasonable otherwise and the service is pretty good.

Been tanning here for about a month now. I was going back & forth with ¾ stars on this place…
The pricing is definitely a plus. Cheaper than most places (hollywood & tantopia) with quite a selection of different levels of tanning.
I like that if you happen to be around a diff galaxy tans, you can tan there and not get hit with a fee. Hollywood tans did that to me & I couldn’t stand it. The downside is, I think there’s only 2 other galaxy tans franchises in PA. whaaa? whyyyy!
They also have so many booths & beds. You’d assume there would never be a wait time. alas, during the busy times (after Ryan HS gets out– UGHHHH) it gets pretty hectic over there. Sometimes I have to wait 10+ mins.
When someone asks me for a recommendation, I do refer them here because I have very few complaints.

I recently found out that it greatly benefits me to come in during the day, preferably before 1PM for two reasons.
1. The daytime staff are definitely out of high school and therefore much more pleasant to see everyday.
2. There is 0 wait time. I walk in and walk right back to a bed.
Also I know tan accelerators can be a little pricey. Galaxy carries a lotion called «Guilt Trip» for $ 21. I’ve used it my last two times tanning and it works extremely well.
