Viva Nails,Hair & spa

So not happy with this place, and I’m not picky! Had a guy Jimmy (I think) give me a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was pretty good, but when I went to my seat to the gel mani, I messed up some paint. I said I was sorry over and over again, and he was so rude and silent. Then, while he was doing the gel manicure, I had to ask him to cover the whole nail and do a 2^nd or 3^rd coat if possible. Needless to say I spent way too much to walk out with glue still on my nails!

So I stopped by for pedicure and eyebrow wax. The salon is big and I didn’t wait at all, but the girl who did pedicure rushed in didn’t take her time finished it in less than 5 minutes?! Really never seen something like that. Came home and the polish chipped within one day. And they charge $ 25 for pedicure which is would be ok if they provide service according to the price. So disappointed not recommend it, and won’t give them a second chance.

Talk about an all cash business $ 35.00 for a full set is too much money for me.

Geez what can I say, this place isn’t what it used to be. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure here and even though they looked great on Tuesday it is now Sunday (5 days) and my gel nails are peeling off! For those unfamiliar, gel polished are supposed to last up to 2 weeks but mine typically last 3 weeks. I’ll be calling tomorrow to see what they proposition as a solution and will update when I hear back. So far, meh-​but my pedicure looks nice!

This is such a hit or miss. Last night was my 3^rd time at Viva. My first time was New Year’s Eve and my nails were flawless. I got a mani and pedi, black OPI, it lasted awhile. The second time… I took my niece with me. Our nails were lumpy and they were just rushing. They get busy and all the sudden you see them rushing through clients. They are $$$ driven. I was so upset. My nail polish peeled the next day because it was so thick. Same thing happened with my niece. They barely took any cuticle off. That’s the whole point of a manicure. Last night, Leo took care of and it was good. He listened to what I wanted. Didn’t rush, nail polish came out good. I actually had no complaints. It’s such a hit or miss at this salon. I definitely think clients should go when it’s calm and it isn’t busy. I feel like the service changes when it isn’t packed. Also, don’t be afraid to tell them to do more of something. It helped me. Overall, it’s an average nail salon although they have a lot of services. From massages to hair coloring. Maybe it’s better in other aspects. They need to work on the nail aspect. Specially for clients who do not have acrylics.

I came in today for a relaxing few hours while my husband and kids went to Dave & Busters. I would have had a more relaxing time going with them! I opted for the «Aromatherapy Package» which included a 30min massage, mini facial, aromatherapy pedicure, and gel manicure.
Not only did the man giving me a massage not use any oils of any kind until about 5 mins until the end of the massage, he was sniffling and breathing heavy the entire time. My husband could have done better!
The only good part was the facial!
My mani and pedi were done by the same technician, and she could not be more unpleasant or unhappy to be performing my services. She could not get rid of me fast enough!
For the amount of money I spent, I was really looking forward to a couple hours away from my 3 sons and to come out relaxed and refreshed! That did NOT happen. Not once was I asked if everything was ok, enjoying myself, etc. as soon as I was done with my manicure, I was immediately shoved out of my seat and out the door. Not pleasant.
I will NOT be returning.

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years. LOVE LOVE my nail Tech Winnie and Mya awesome. Winnie is so talented. All techs seem to do all kinds of designs, they have gel, acrylic, fake nails. They have hair stylist, also facials, massage, waxing, Jason awesome reflexology! They have great spa pedicures or regular pedicures. The key thing is very very clean. So try it out.

Walked in once when their hours online said open until 9:30. It was a little before 7:30 so the door was still open. I was sent away and told they were closing soon. Never going back

Was excited about my first microdermabrasion facial in this salon. While doing the facial, my cheeks were hurting and also insisted on it, and staff’s communication was poor. She just went over it, half an hour later my skin turned pink and thought it would go away. After 2 days got dark patches. When I called the salon and wanted to speak with some staff, they resisted to give me tips and solution for it. When my husband called the manager back again, rather than giving a solution the manager disconnected the call twice. Very poor customer service. Totally disappointed. Got dark patches and total waste of 85 bucks. I would not suggest my friends and family about this parlour.

First time here and I enjoyed it. I didn’t have to wait long at all but then again it’s Monday morning. They were very nice and kept clean. Definitely a language barrier but it wasn’t too bad. Prices are fair and they always have discounts and coupons. I got a hair cut with color $ 70 and got a discount and a gel pedi for $ 35. Definitely coming back :)

Booked an appointment for myself and a bride to be to have eyelash extensions applied. I went first bc this was both of our first experience with this treatment. I’m so glad I did. The lady applied so much glue to my eyes I could barely keep them open. Of course the bride declined the service and we opted for falsies for her. The lashes were gross looking and began falling out after day 5 luckily I made it home from my trip in time to have them painfully removed. The lady who had to take them off kept remarking there was too much glue and I told her yes they were atrocious. She asked where I had them done I said HERE! She continued to remove them over a 40 minute span I get to the front desk to pay and they doubled the price of removal bc they were «difficult.» So now I am out 40+ dollars and my real eyelashes are gone. I would not recommend this salon for eyelashes.

I have been going here for about a year now and they do a fabulous job. I have had a regular manicure, acrylics, gel manicures and regular pedicures. They are always so nice and actually listen to how you want your nails done. Also they ask if you want your nails cut instead of just doing it without asking. They have a separate place to dry your nails over by the hair salon. When you are drying your nails, there is someone waiting to give you a back and neck massage. Which is amazing! I highly recommend this nail salon. Definitely 5 stars.

I was charged $ 25.00 for a pedicure. I assume that their prices went up since the last review of someone else who stated their pedicure costs $ 20.00 back in Jan. 2014. I arrived around 10:30 am and it looks like a mad house. They were a little busy. I was seated immediately and worked on. My attendant was efficient in cleaning my toe nails well. So well in fact that I plan to come back again. I noticed a new addition of a hair salon in the place. Price for just a haircut was $ 25.00, maybe next time? This salon caters to families with children, groups and even just the single individual. The place is clean, has a lot of nail polish colors to choose from and an army of technicians on hand.

Excellent! Great prices, fast get in and out, very nice technicians, pedicure $ 20, gel manicure $ 25, can’t beat it the service was great and big place with a lot of services. I went with my grandmom and she loved it. The gel lights are in the desks which was pretty cool and high tech. We had gone to another nail salon the day before and it was horrible since it was so small and old run down store, freezing inside and the price wasn’t any better. The tech told us to wait thought it’d be 15 min and we waited over an hour to an hour and a half and we were like wow we have to go and while we were waiting she told another customer to come tomorrow which was rude and inconvenient. This viva salon is the best place around.

isn’t the best in the area but isn’t the worst, the prices are a lot more then other salons in the area. The only reason its lower stars was because I had asked for a seagull design they had on one of their boards, it took the man 3 tries and at this point I just wanted to dry my nails and leave so I just told him do whatever he pleased, the design did not look like a seagull at all! If you have designs advertised, make sure each nail tech can properly do them! the selection of color isnt so huge eather, but their work does last which is a nice quality about a good nail salon. It’s good to go to if your in a bind and its the only one around but nail salons are everywhere in the area so I recommend somewhere else.

This salon has been around for roughly 10 years and I always go here. The staff is very polite and they work fast to keep up with the crowd always walking through the door. I am done getting my mani/​pedi and eyebrows done within an hour! I haven’t tried out the hair salon but the right side of the salon I know is great! As for the one star review below, ask what is going to happen to you before ignorantly deciding to get something done «before going out.» Try Viva, I haven’t been disappointed yet!

Had a Japenesse hair treatment done here goes… it started with a 30 min body massage then they was your hair and give you a 15 min head massage. Then she sprays my face with the hair sprayer from the sink takes off my makeup I freaked out bc I was going out. Then proceeds to apply some kind of cream to my face that burnt the crap out of me. I told her it was burning me and she applied more. Then I started to wipe it off and she put something else on that to burnt me I grabbed the towel and willed it all off and got up they left me in this back room for over 15 mins before I finally went out onto the floor. To see my scarlet face when I asked for something cold for my face they asked why? Hello I was scarlet on fire I said to them that I asked the girl yo stop and she just kept going they said well next time let her know to stop as soon as it burns. Ummm hello manager I did… she then says well she not speak english. well then why do u have her working on clients? Also she proceeds to tell me that they only use for sensitive sing however I grabbed the bottle and no where did it say for sensitive skin. They gave no clue what they are doing because there English sucks! If you are going to have a spa have people working it that speak the language here. I have burns on my face from these idiots. The only one who was helpful was the white hair stylist in there who you to can tell gets treated like crap from the management. But anyway there was about 15 mins of a hair spa that should have been 1 hour. Waste if time and money would not ever recommend this place ever not even to my worst enemy!!! Save your money go to a good place!

Got the OPI Spa Pedicure here and it was great! The salon is big and has plenty of mani and pedi stations along with many different pedicure options. They have a nice selection of polish including OPI, Essie and China Glaze. My pedi was $ 35 and worth every penny, included a long massage with cooling mud. Can’t wait to go back!
