Visited Galdo’s twice in the last few weeks. Once for a rehearsal dinner, and the other for a funeral luncheon. The food from the rehearsal dinner was better than the food from the funeral luncheon, sadly. From the luncheon… there was roast beef sandwiches that were very dry and tough… it didn’t matter if the juice was on the roll. The sautéed potatoes looked very good, but didn’t taste very good, and the crab meat wrapped in fish seemed mushy. The chicken marsala was average. The only thing that tasted very good was the sautéed string beans. Most of the food didn’t seem too fresh, and tasted like it had been in the heating plates for a couple of hours. At the rehearsal dinner, everything seemed rushed, but the food seemed fresh… but it was only out a short while. Once we sat down from getting our food, they put out the coffee & dessert right away as we were chewing our dinner. As for the food, there was salmon, roast pork sandwiches, loaded potatoes, and tortellini alfredo served.(that was fantastic). I wish that the funeral luncheon had been better than the rehearsal dinner, being that it was my grandmother who passed. It was basically«the last meal on her». whether she cooked it herself or bought it. Just wish that was perfect.

Came here for a baby shower yesterday afternoon. Venue itself is really nice. I had only been there once or twice as a child and don’t remember much about prior visits, but, it definitely has been remodeled in the past decade or so. Fully stocked bar. Food was fine, but, nothing to brag about. Some of the appetizers served at the beginning of the party were also already cold so I didn’t touch them much. I had the tilapia stuffed with crab meat, mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad. Also sampled some baked ziti and pasta salad. There was an assortment of desserts(cookies, pastries, cakes, etc) including some kind of brittle along with coffee. Those were actually a little more consist ant than the main dishes. I had one or two of each with exception of the shower cake. Just wasn’t in the mood. Wouldn’t mind attending an event there again. Pretty location with alright catering.

Decent little banquet hall. From what I could tell, they just do catering and parties. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside is surprisingly nice. They have two full bars(one on each side in the coctail areas) with some top shelf bottles available. On either end of the hall is a large buffet bar where their staff serves up their hot entrees. I really enjoyed the chicken marsala, roasted potatoes, prime rib and penne ala vodka. The one dish I didn’t really enjoy was the fish with crab stuffing, although my friend really liked the crab stuffing. Desserts were cake, eclairs, cream puffs, and cannolis. All were just alright. In the center of the long hall is a good size dance floor in front of the DJ. The DJ was able to get some people up dancing after dinner, which I wasn’t sure would actually happen at a work party, so I was impressed. Overall, we had a good time and I’d be interested in coming back for another event.
