Unfortunately, I bought the Groupon for 2 Mani-​Pedis to Mwah… and it took months of calling to finally scheduled for my first appointment. Apparently they are booked full each week and to please try to call back the week of or before because they currently don’t have availability. From this you’d think they were really busy right?
I was so happy when I finally got my first appointment! When I arrived for my first scheduled appointment, I noticed that they are very trendy and different — not like the typical cushy massage chairs and thought oh this will definitely be a different experience. Half the pedicure experience is the back massage while your feet is being groomed but I’m getting a different experience… stll good right?
Unfortunately for me, they couldn’t find my reservation and since the Groupon requires a reservation, they couldn’t take me because I did not make a reservation because they couldn’t find it. However, while they were searching for my reservation, I noticed that their reservation book was blank… the salon was empty… but they couldn’t honor the Groupon even though they were empty?
So I had to reschedule my first appointment after months of calling. They then told me they cannot take Groupon reservations before 1pm and the latest appointment they can take is 5pm. Okayyyyy… can still work with that right?
Then they tell me they can’t firm reservations for the following weeks before the week of and I’d have to call to see if an appointment was available the week of. Obviously I saw their blank reservation book already so it was like woah… seriously??? Anyways, still trying to work with this here, so the next week I called back to ask if the date was available to rescheduled my first appointment, they told me that sorry, the owner has instituted a policy that no Groupon reservations can be taken after 3pm.
So, in conclusion, based on what I’ve been told THERE IS ONLY A TWO HOUR WINDOW TO USE A GROUPON??? I didn’t buy a NOW! Deal, there were no mentions of it being valid for only a 2 hour redemption window during the workday much less due to the short notice of being able to obtain a reservation and have them possibly now cancel on me because they can’t find the reservation?
Stay away from this place! As nice as it is to try to support a new small business, I don’t know how they stay in business with that kind of reservation system.

I agree with the other reviewers… DO NOT GO TO MWAH AND DO NOT BUY A DEAL OR A GROUPON for this merchant. Like the others, I did not read these reviews before buying a Groupon. My Groupon was for two Minty Mojito manicure-​pedicures. The business does not answer the phone. The voice mailbox is nearly always full. Eventually, I reached the merchant, scheduled an appointment and received my first service. The service was adequate, although I was disappointed that there was no standard pedicure chair with a hygienic basin and massage feature but rather a plastic bucket placed into some kind of heating element. I also thought that having to sit at a bar for my manicure was odd, as was the offer of an alcoholic beverage. The shop was overly impressed with their bar concept and did not pay sufficient attention to the service or to professional behavior. Throughout my service, the shop owner and the nail technician carried on a discussion about the technician’s animal rescue business. Because my Groupon entitled me to a second mani-​pedi and I didn’t want to try calling again, I scheduled my second service before leaving. When I arrived for my second appointment, the shop was closed and the security gate was locked. The shop appeared to have closed permanently, which did not surprise me as I’m sure this business will close in the near future. However, since I was still owed a mani-​pedi, I made about ten more phone calls until someone eventually answered the phone. There was no apology for the missed appointment, but I was able to schedule a replacement appointment. When I arrived at the shop for the replacement appointment, the security gate was raised, but the door was locked. Another customer arrived about 10 minutes after I did. Despite the cold, we both knocked repeatedly at the door and waited for about 20 minutes before the other customer left. I waited for another 10 minutes before leaving again. I have no intention of returning to this shop… EVER!!! Save yourself the hassle and poor service and DO NOT GO TO MWAH!!!

DO NOT GO TO MWAH NAILS! Unfortunately, I did not look up the reviews before my groupon purchase but hopefully my review will save someone else…
I bought a groupon for the short and sweet mani pedi because I thought the deal was a steal! Turns out the short and sweet mani is an overpriced POLISH CHANGE! They dont soakyour feet at all and I had to ask if I could wash my hands. The technician did not even use a file she just clipped and polished! Furthermore I had on gel and thought I would just get it done again but a soon as I walked in I changed my mind. Those of you who get gel can agree that you can tell if the establishment offers good gel polish so with that being said I didnt want this woman who couldnt even file trying to use gel polish! Furthermore she charged me an extra $ 3 just to soak the gel off because she didnt do them originally! Ugh after all that I was so ready to get out of there but my Groupon wouldnt come up on my phone. I asked the tech if I could use their work iphone to show my groupon. I did LOGGED off and got out of there. The polish chipped the very next day so needless to say the mani pedi was crap!
Don’t waste your money! I wouldnt even go there again if someone paid me…
Now for the kicker… Turns out the nail tech (Saniyyah) stole my groupon info and a week later purchased several groupons on my acct. I had to go to the police station, file fraud, call the bank etc… Worst purchase of my life!!!

Like others I bought a Groupon for two manipedis and scheduled my appointment. When my friend and I showed up for our appointment on time, we were told to sit down by a surly looking woman. We sat down, looked through the nail colors, and patiently waited for about 30 minutes
When someone finally acknowledged us again, we were told that our manipedis would only be valid for one of us. I had called in advance, before I bought the Groupon, to make sure that I could use it for both of us. I was told that yes, you can use one Groupon for two people. We were told to wait after contesting that we can only get one for the Groupon. We waited another 30 minutes before we were told that we «should’ve read the fine print.» I’m sorry, but the fine print is contradictory, it says 1 per person, and also use full value in 1 visit, that’s why I called before hand to double check.
What I’m so disturbed by is the rude behavior of the staff — why make us wait so long when we had an appointment scheduled? Why make an appointment at all if you’re just going to ignore customers for an hour?
This place just opened, and surely won’t be much longer.

I felt like I was in a Saturday Night Live skit, it was so ridiculous. These people will be out of business in no time. Why the owner allowed the technician to be on her phone the entire time is beyond me. We «upgraded» from the groupon short and sweet which meant we got to put our feet in a bubbling plastic tub. When the mani was done, they didn’t even soak the nails, so they painted over DIRTY NAILS! Just don’t go is my advice.

Unfortunately, I bought the Groupon to Mwah… if I hadn’t already paid through Groupon I would have asked for my money back. The manicure and pedicure was of a quality that I could have done myself at home. There were bits of paint left on my fingers and toes (which were not even shaped well). The manicurist was very shaky, so I assume she was very inexperienced.
At all other nail salons, you automatically get a foot soak/​scrub with a pedicure… this one was dry and I was told I had to upgrade to the soak if you wanted them to bring out the bucket to put your feet in. The pedicure area was really uncomfortable because I had to use my abs to brace myself to hold my foot up on this holder they had. It was basically a bench with pillows on it. I mean, I don’t need a full massage chair or anything, but at least something where I don’t have to hold myself up. I came with a friend and they separated us… I thought that was weird because I came with a friend specifically so I could talk with her. The polish came off in less than 2 days.
I wouldn’t recommend Mwah to anyone. I feel kind of bad since they’re new and I like to support small business… but there was a lack of preparation, knowledge, and experience here.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Just like many other reviewers here, I purchased a groupon for the «spa» mani pedi and arrived a little bit late (15 minutes), but no matter because the manicurist was busy doing her friend’s nails anyway and asked that I have a seat and just wait. Finally I get into the seat, or bench rather, and was immediately uncomfortable because the damn thing kept sliding out from under me. No massage chair, no bubbly water. You basically stick your feet in a bucket.
My nail technician wouldn’t stop talking to her co-​worker and kept answering her phone, or getting up to change the song on her iPod or just complaining in general.
I just wanted to relax and get a nice mani/​pedi before my vacation and even upgraded to the «gel» manicure which I might add fell off in a matter of days. The girl was so distracted that I had to tell her «you missed a spot» on several occasions, and there were STILL gaps all over the place. She didn’t even clip my nails with the clippers, she used the cuticle cutters which left my toenails POINTY! At one point when she got up to change the song or something totally ridiculous I filed them down MYSELF!
Not to mention, other customers came in and they didn’t even have their names in their appointment book so they had to wait A LONG TIME because there are only two of them working. The girl had the audacity to tell a customer «well we’re a little behind because one of our customers came in a little late». Seriously?!
I wanted to give this place a chance because they’re a new business, but I just can’t overlook the lack of customer care or courtesy in general. Not to mention the prices are OUTRAGEOUS and the entire set-​up of the place is just hobbled together and bizarre. And the kicker is it took THREE HOURS for a manicure and pedicure! I actually had to move my car and pay for parking TWICE because it took so long.
Save your money and just go to one of the Asian places. Those are seriously the best mani/​pedis out there.

Sadly I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I bought a groupon for two manipedis and scheduled my appointment as required by the groupon. When I arrived on time to my appointment, the technician told my friend and I to just have a seat. We patiently waited since both techs were occupied doing a pedicure for other customers. Forty minutes later, we figured out that they had only started the pedicure for those customers when we came in and still had to do their manicures. When I said we couldn’t wait any longer and would have to leave, the girl just said «Oh they had appointments too.» Unprofessional. No courtesy to the customer. I guess they figured we paid already so didn’t care if I left. You would think a beauty lounge with a grand opening would want to not only attract customers but also retain them!

I have been watching this Nail Salon come together for some time so I had to go in once they opened. The salon is soo cute it looks like a room every girl ever wanted. The service was professional and friendly! I love that they offer a pedicure spa that uses disposable foot baths!!! The polishes that they offer were top notch… I would definitely go back!!!
