I have had two great facials with Natalie. I will definitely go back,

I used to go to Red Sage and would highly recommend it. The reason I don’t go anymore is because I have a baby now and it’s just more convenient for me to go to a salon closer to my home in the city. The salon itself is beautiful, but still manages to be warm and comfortable. It’s large with different sections, lovely decorations, and natural light that streams inside. Melissa was my stylist at Red Sage — she is friendly, warm, and she really listens to you when determining what sort of look you’re going for. I always got compliments on my hair! She’s wonderful! The entire staff operates like a family — and the owner, Maria, is a warm, generous, and lovely person.

I really hate to say this because all the ladies here are so nice but this was the worst haircut I’ve gotten in a while. I have quite curly hair and the lady who cut my hair somehow managed to cut it in a way that made all my curls disappear! I feel like she cut it the same as straight hair, which you just can’t do with curls. I paid WAY too much for this haircut that I hate. After she styled the cut, my hair was crunchy, crispy, and felt like straw. I walked out of the salon and immediately put my hair in a ponytail. It’s been in a pony every day since that cut. I’ve tried to make this cut look good but it’s awful. Curly girls-find another salon! I’m sure these ladies are great with straight hair but curly hair? Just no. Not going back.

Had quite the day today. My best friends husband surprised both me and her with two escape for the day packages for Christmas. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and swept upstairs into a tranquil room filled with flowers, candles and lots of tasty treats. They had chocolate covered strawberries which I found out later that the owner made them! That was quite the personal touch. Our hardest decision was what we wanted for lunch — which was from the wonderful restaurant next door. Everything we had was exceptional — massage, facial, mani/pedi, haircut and blowout(and wine!) Brianna did my massage(fantastic). Natalie took care of my facial and she was knowledgeable, sweet and so good at what she does! Ended with Tracy taking care of my mani/pedi and hair and I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful she was. The owner stopped by halfway through and made sure everything was wonderful. I will be back again and will be making sure to tell all my friends!

I used to come here religiously for cuts and color but had to stop after money got tight. Not happy with my budget haircuts and at-home coloring I decided to go back. After all I’m worth it! I’m pleased to say Red Sage is just as wonderful as I remembered. I received a cut and highlights by Brianna and am thrilled with how my hair looks! Despite being a Bumble and Bumble salon Red Sage isn’t snooty or priced sky high. The girls here are so nice and you feel welcomed from the second you step in the door. I’ll certainly never stray from here again!

Hands down one of the best salon experiences. I have been going here for almost 3 years now and would never go anywhere else. The person I see is named Lauren. She is fantastic. Very friendly and seems to understand every odd request I have for my hair. I have family and friends who have started coming here too and they see other people and rave about them as well. You get first class service at a way better price. It is definitely a relaxing experience where you will laugh and enjoy yourself and leaving looking and feeling beautiful. If I had to complain about one thing it would be parking. But it never keeps me from going. I just know I have leave a little time to find a spot.

After a ton of my friends got their eyebrows tinted and waxed by Amy I decided I’d give it a shot. I love my eyebrows and am very picky when it comes to who touches them, but after looking at her instagram and my friends’ results I decided to trust her and I am so glad I did. She did an AMAZING job and I will definitely be returning. For both a wax and tint it came to $ 30. The salon itself is beautiful and the staff I encountered are very, very friendly.

Love Melissa! It’s a great salon. Everyone is friendly, snacks available, and a nice atmosphere. Prices are a little high but consistent with other better salons. You get what you pay for! Parking is tough during the day because of train stop.

I came here based on a referral from a friend, and was really happy with my cut & color. I went to Loretta based on the recommendation, and she was wonderful. My hair is thick/wavy and I’ve been to a lot of hairdressers who have no idea what to do with this; but Loretta gave me a really great cut. Even after I washed and styled my hair myself, everything is still laying right. I’m really grateful to have found this place and I highly recommend!

Red Sage did the hair and make up for my bridesmaids in my June wedding. They did an awesome job, the girls looked amazing and had a great experience there. The night before the wedding my mom, sister and I got our nails and pedicures done. We totally got to relax and enjoy each other’s company prior to the craziness that was about to begin and it was one of the best ways to spend some time together and be pampered. Alyssa coordinated everything and made it easy for me to not to worry! the artists and stylists were talented, reliable and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married looking for a salon to handle everything for you on your wedding day!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about Tracey at Red Sage Salon and Spa. I am broke AND cheap, so for me to be like, «Oh, OK, here’s $ 40 and a $ 10 tip for what basically amounts to a trim of my uncomplicated hair» — it doesn’t come lightly. My hair looks great, she doesn’t do anything weird that looks good when I leave the salon but I can’t achieve it on my own, and she chats just the right amount. And the salon itself is lovely — it’s classy and unique and has a lot of character, but still feels like you’re in a hometown kind of place. I can’t wait to try their spa treatments.

The best salon in the area. IMO, better than most of the salons in Center City.

Today I had a massage with Maria and a facial and peel w/Natalie. First off the salon is to cute. Everyone is nice from start to end. Maria did an awesome job on my message. The only gripe I have is that I wish the message was deeper. I indicated on my questionnaire that I have pain in my shoulder and I don’t think she worked it out at all. Everything else felt great. I also should of asked her to rub harder as I’m sure she would of. Next came my facial… Natalie was GREAT! She answered all my questions with certainty. I trust fully that she knows what she’s talking about. My skin looks and feels fantastic. Natalie gave my samples to try. I totally re booked before I left. Overall I left feeling pampered. Job well done ladies

I’m giving this 4 stars because my fiancée had Brian and loved him. We had a duet massage, my fiacee’s first, and he was truly happy with the experience. Brian was attentive and worked with my fiancée to sort out trouble spots and help him get the most out of it. In my fiancée’s words, «He should specialize woth chefs. He’s amazing.» I, on the other hand, had oil put into my hair 3 times, was covered in oil head to toe by the end(I’m not even finnicky about oil… this was a lot), and felt as if I hadn’t had a massage. She barely put any pressure on me. I understand I requested swedish, but it was really unsatisying. Perhaps I’m more knotty than most. Perhaps my 93lb frame threw her off. Either way, be safe and ask for deep tissue. Tell them to go light on the oil, too. Or to use lotion instead.
