In addition, we represent individuals whose civil rights were violated due to excessive force by police, corrections officers and other government officials and other violations of one’s constitutional protections.

History

Established in 2013.

The founder and owner, Brian M. Fishman, Esquire was an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia from 2001 to 2005. During that time, he had the unique opportunity to try hundreds of cases, including over 20 jury trials. Mr. Fishman left the prosecutor’s office in 2005 and went into private practice. For the next 8 years, Mr. Fishman used the trial skills he gained to protect the rights of those charged with criminal offenses or injured due to the negligence of others. In late 2013, Brian M. Fishman founded The Fishman Firm, LLC with the hopes of continuing to provide superior legal representation to his clients in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

I have been practicing criminal law in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties my entire career. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Cornell University in 1996. I graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law in 2001. While at Temple Law, I was an editor on the prestigious Temple Law Review. After law school, I was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. I worked there for 4 years and tried countless trials, including more than 20 jury trials to verdict. In 2005, I left the District Attorney’s Office to pursue a career defending those accused of criminal offenses. In 2013, I founded The Fishman Firm, LLC, which is located in Center City Philadelphia. My firm is dedicated to protecting the rights of the criminally-​accused and those who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
