History

Established in 2002.

Water Lily Weddings was founded on the heels of a fantastic «spiritual but not religious» wedding designed by Eric Wilden and his wife, Kellie — their own. After the experience, and while earning a Master of Divinity degree at Naropa University, Eric began to serve as an officiant to others who were looking for similar ceremonies. As a trained chaplain, he provides the attention to a couple that’s necessary to capture in words their commitment to and love for each other.

Business Owner

Eric is a 2003 graduate of Naropa University’s Master of Divinity program and a trained chaplain, in addition to serving as a wedding officiant since 2002. He completed the Integral Peacemaker training in 2002 and in addition to Water Lily Weddings has helped direct a variety of nonprofit organizations for the past 17 years. Eric is married with two daughters and lives in northwest Philadelphia.
