History

Established in 1972.

Since 1972, Cactus Flower has been serving the metro Phoenix area with the most beautiful floral design and matchless service. From a single store on Scottsdale road to six locations throughout the Valley, Cactus Flower has bloomed into Arizona’s leading florist.

We started as a family-​owned and operated business, including Brother and Sister Eric and Kristina who grew up watering the plants and running deliveries. Today, Eric and Kristina run the daily operations of Cactus Flower. The business has always been a family affair, and Cactus Flower considers its employees and customers as an extension of that family.

Our customers have helped us grow to be one of FTD and Teleflora’s Top 10 florists in North America. Most importantly, we have the pleasure of being part of our customers’ lives and it’s most important occasions: from births to funerals, weddings to anniversaries, and every holiday in between.

This place is great! On Fridays’ they have a half off sale on selected flowers. They are fresh and awesome. They added Babies Breathe and a wrapping. They are very attentive and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend..

I ordered flowers for a Birthday Party and didn’t like what I got. Not that it wasn’t beautiful, but it didn’t fit for the table. One call to the shop and they delivered a replacement bouquet which was spectacular. Great customer service experience.

All 5 stars to Leslie (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly)! I placed an order online for my boss because he and his family will be in AZ this weekend and I thought it nice to send flowers to the Mrs. for lover’s day! Something happened during transmission of my order that messed up info. I called Cactus Flower and received Leslie who took care of everything! She was perfect! And she laughed at my joke!
I can’t speak for the flowers, however; if they are reflective of the service received today, they are bound to be superb! Thank you Leslie! Great customer care still exists!

Cactus Flower was awesome! There website is user friendly and there were no hiccups or concerns. Delivery was a little late in the afternoon, but the flowers and vase were beautiful! Not only that, Cactus Flower didn’t attempt to charge me an additional delivery fee for a commercial building location, like Phoenix Flower Shops attempted to do! Go with Cactus Flower instead!

I have been going to the Scottsdale location for years, and have been to this location twice.
I thought this location was closed today, so I tried a different local shop — and was horribly disappointed.
I took a swing by the shop, and they’re open special today because it’s Mother’s Day!
As typical, I told them a couple key flowers I would like, and a price range, and they made two BEAUTIFUL bouquets — with no markup for arranging them for me.
As always — this shop is amazing, and I see no reason to go anywhere else. Always creative, always helpful, and always have the flowers I need in stock!

This is the 3rd order from the same location. All three setups were beautiful but this last one slightly missed the mark. it was a 50th B-​day and I asked for «5» deep red roses to be surrounded by Many bright colors. What was received was «8» Deep red roses and a Beautiful color arrangement. I contacted the store and told them I was unhappy. They immediatly decided to drop the shipping costs and replace them but that just didn’t seem enough. The recipient didn’t want to give up her flowers. SO a discount was applied to the order that both I and the Company agreed with. I am willing to use them again.

Ordered a bright, feminine bouquet with roses, Peruvian lilies, and daisies. Received a sloppy, lopsided bouquet with no roses and no Peruvian lilies. It looks like they took a mish-​mash of leftover flowers, put it together and delivered it. It was awful.

My husband ordered roses for our anniversary. After three days, they are wilted. I called they wanted the old bouquet, and did replace it with another. The roses had NO filler of any kind, and AGAIN, we’re wilted after three days. I will never have my husband waste $ 70 with this company again. Costco has a gorgeous arrangement for $ 40.00 and if they wilt after three days… you get your money back!

I have been an infrequent but long-​term customer of Cactus Flower since the early 1990’s. Last year I had unsatisfactory experiences with one of the shops, but decided to give the Phoenix shop a try. Good decision, for the one order they delivered.
I stopped in yesterday to order for V Day. A somewhat distracted employee tossed a couple tattered catalog pages on the table for me to choose from, and described a few. When I asked that it be delivered by the time the recipient leaves work, she said school delivery was before 2, and businesses by 5 PM. Since the recipient leaves work by 3, I asked that she be included in the «school» delivery. No can do, policy is policy! It came down to a quick but clearly evident battle of wills between the young employee and me, she wasn’t going to budge, and I wasn’t going to risk the order being late.
So I voted with my dollars, 150 of them, and took my business elsewhere.

The delived plant bowl did not resemble the picture on the website. The plants were looking very sickly and it made the arrangement look cheep and unattractive. I can’t believe they would send this out. It is embarrassing to know that something like that arrived. looked like a small child put it together.
