I am so HAPPY I found my girl Ivy! She does such a wonderful job. It was my first experience at this nail salon and everyone was friendly, the salon so clean. Can’t wait to go back.

I have went to this salon twice, first time I had a gel manicure and they did an awesome job. The 2nd time I just wanted a regular manicure and it was awful. The too off what was left of the gel and did not buff my nails and applied the polish over rough nails and then the polish was pealing off within 3 days. Definitely will not go back!

Found this place just by driving by on my way home. Stopped in for a pedicure, manicure and eye brow wax. Will surely be back! Love the color and Cynthia is absolutely delightful to sit with. She did everything for me. I live 30 minutes away and just saying… The drive is worth it.

I’ve been my nails done regularly for the past 8 years. I’m very picky about the quality I receive. I found this place in June, and they do a great job and can do designs I show them from Pinterest. I’m very pleased, and I will keep coming back.

Always the up sell. My pedicure was not good, I will not return. Although it looks clean! The owner Tom seems very nice always asking if you need anything.

I’ve been coming here for two years now. I’ve tried other places but this place keeps drawing me back. Next thing I know, I look up and it’s been two years. it’s not perfect, they raised their prices a little bit, and they do have turn over. But-for the most part, their work is consistent and they are friendly. their English isn’t the best but they get by and still manage to give you what you asked for. the owner, Debbie, is just a sweet as pie and always remembers you. she even greets you with a hug. they are very accommodating and the shop is always clean, airy, and bright. They pay attention to the upkeep as well. Meaning, nothing broken or hanging on by a thread in there. They don’t stand for it. Did I mention VERYACCOMODATING!

I came in from out of town and needed somewhere for me and my daughter to get a pedicure. They were so super friendly! The pedicure was amazing! My manicure was a little messy but I would go back again next time I’m in town.

I’ve been to Presto twice. First time I went with a friend for a full set design with gel. The woman who quoted service first started it would be $ 55 dollars, after I asked three times, «Just like the picture, right?“showing a picture on my phone to reference back to, and she confirmed, «Yes, 55 dollars.» I wanted to make sure, because the design was simple, but was on every nail. After the technician did my ring fingers with the design, she started putting the polishes away. I was confused by this so I referenced back to the picture, and said I wanted all the nails with the design(four dots to every nail), and she called her pricer over to tell me it would be five more dollars. I said okay, and the technician finished a little sloppy, with smaller/bigger dots. I paid and left, and gave a five dollar tip. I noticed the base of the nail was thick with acrylic, and not smoothly finished. I had to go back soon for a fill because the growth looked extremely unnatural. I went back tonight for a fill with gel polish and a design. I was sat with a new tech. He was very nice and detailed. He told me it was his third day. Gel well done, with a double coat and filed perfectly. I know these will last me awhile. After he finished I was moved to another area for the design, the lady(pricer) wasn’t able to do a mustache tip, so she wiped it off and had me move again to another tech who was having a hard time. She got it done in an hour, and it looked nice, but she seemed a bit annoyed that I had them re-do a couple sloppy ones. I figured the place charges enough to get the job done right. I was extremely happy with the end result, but before paying, the pricer told me it would be 2 extra dollars because she didn’t realize it was a mustache, and not a bow tie. I responded with, «Seriously?» and she said, «Okay, no worries. I’ll charge you the first price.» I thought that was a little tacky to add on two dollars. I gave a ten dollar tip, making the total 52 dollars. Gel well done. I will come back to see the new tech who did my fills and gel, but am not sure this is the place for a design, if you want it done right.

I go to Presto Nails for a French manicure. I have been going back to Don the nail technician for a back fill every 3 to 4 weeks, for a little over a year now. I must say this procedure takes talent and experience and Don has proven time and time again that he knows what he is doing. The quality work and precision is undeniably the best in the business. I would highly recommend you making an appointment with Don if you get this type of nail work done, your nails will not lift, break, or bubble even 4 weeks grown out! The price is very reasonable compared to the quality that you receive. The other staff there are very friendly and they just updated their salon furniture. The facility is very clean, they play a variety of good music in the background and will proved a water bottle to you. I really enjoy going to Presto Nails, they always give a warm welcome and if you have been there before they most likely will great you by your name.

I’ve been to this place back when the owner was very active in the shop. I recently went back and each time I’ve tried to convince myself that maybe I’m just over analyzing. However my last visit has officially sealed the deal. Not only is this place nasty but they don’t know what their doing. They are not properly cleaning the pedicure bowls and their reusing the dirty tools without properly cleaning them. The women who did my gel nails, didn’t know what she was doing. This caused the gel to melt onto my skin in the uv dryer. She then proceeded to dig her fingernail into the side of my skin until it was extremely tender. When I told the manager she just looked at me like I was crazy and still charged me over $ 60!!! Horrible, horrible place I would never recommend this place to ANYONE not even an enemy! BEWARE of this place unless you want your feet scrubbed with someone else’s dead skin remnants on it.

Over the holidays, I went to Presto Nails with my mother-in-law and her sister. They had a pedicure, and I had a mani/pedi. I have always had a good experience at Presto. However during this outing, I could have sworn that my nail tech just rinsed off the equipment that she used on me. When she returned to the station, she got what appeared to be one of those«sterile» packs and shoved the tools in and sealed it up! I was dumbfounded. I never had any question about the cleanliness of this place until then. When we left, my husband’s aunt expressed her disgust of how her nail tech just rinsed the callus remover(grater) and put it back in the rotation. I hadn’t even mentioned my experience. That is disgusting, and I will always dissuade people from going to this establishment if I can!

They must be reading these post that they are ‘affordable’ — I got talked into an upcharge of $ 30 for what seems like a standard pedicure anywhere else. Right when my pedicure was finished I was rushed out of my seat and into my sandals(not even time for the polish to dry). Not coming here again.

I love this place for pedicures. They have a menu with the prices and what each pedi packages includes with al a carte items below with prices, The staff is friendly and efficient. The salon is very clean. They ask tips be in cash, which is a hassle but I understand. Credit cards charge a percentage of amount which can cut into the profit of a small business. They didn’t rush even as the place started to get busy. Great place, highly recommend.

Only a handful of reviews but the high rating is well-deserved, if you ask this third time pedicure veteran. My girlfriend had lived in Ahwatukee and suggested I join her for her monthly pedicure last November. Besides being a guy with 30 years of callous flesh buildup and toenail neglect hidden by my Triforce slip-ons that I did not want to expose to this gal I was trying to court(the scene from Dumb and Dumber playing in my head as we pulled into the parking lot the first time), my bigger concern was the simple expectation of sitting in a grungy strip mall salon(like those next to the discount phở restaurants I frequent) being worked on by a bunch of women criticizing my neglected hooves. None of the above at Presto(full disclosure: it IS in a strip mall space). Besides the acetone whiff when you walk in, the salon and the staff make for a very pleasant and inviting experience. The salon is bright and new and always seems clean. The staff is very friendly and, as others have mentioned, Tom the owner is a very nice guy and very respectful. Each time I have had a different pedicurist and they are all friendly and attentive. I see them engaged with customers who do like to talk a lot(I know my three experiences are a limited sample but this is usually fat old ladies) and pretty much just leaving alone the quieter ones(like myself) who just like to play with the chair’s massage settings. Many others seems to think like me because they’ve always been busy and most of the customers talk to the staff like regulars. Frankly, I think I am spoiled by Presto and am not even interested in trying out another salon.

I was in the Phoenix/Chandler area for work and got done a little early in the afternoon. My toes and nails had been begging for some attention for quite a while and since I had nothing else I needed to do right away, I decided to finally get my nails done! I checked Unilocal and saw that this place had very good reviews so I headed on over. I got here early in the afternoon and was helped immediately. I got a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow/upper lip wax. The prices were pretty much right in line with what I expected but I was definitely pleasantly surprised at how well my nails came out. I don’t THINK they’re using a different top coat, but my toes and even my nails were pretty much completely dry by the time I left! She did do my pedicure before my nails, and then my wax after my nails, but at my normal salon in Virginia, I still make a point of sitting under the dryer for at least another 10 minutes, even when they follow the same order too. So I left without even sitting under the dryer and everything was dry by the time I got back to my car. Again, not sure if it’s the desert air or a miracle top coat, but I was very happy with how everything turned out! If I ever come back out to this area and my nails are hurting again, I’m definitely coming back here!
