David Recoder – State Farm Insurance Agent

My husband and I were looking for, not only affordable insurance, but also a knowledgeable and reliable insurance agency. David Recoder and his staff have done just that, given us great value for our insurance coverage needs and great customer service. Anytime we have had questions or concerns, David and his staff are always available to help.

I dont think anyone really finds getting insurance enjoyable. However its a must and David’s office staff was very helpful in getting me started. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and they answer the phone when I call which is always nice.

I have been buying insurance from David for about 5 years now and I highly recommend. David is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Whenever I have an insurance question I feel confident that David and his team will get me answers I need without a trying to sell me something I don’t need.
Unfortunately, I have had to call on David’s, and his assistant Natalie’s, help a couple times over the last few years. They’re are always happy to help. Whether it was simply needing a copy of my insurance card or getting a loaner car when my was hit they seem to go out of their way to help and get me back on the road.

David was very knowledgeable on all products. Very patient, friendly, and not PUSHY! Got the best rates and best insight in other products to bundle.

David Recoder is an awesome, professional, friendly agent. His office is the essence of the State Farm slogan. They really are like a friendly neighbor who will always be there to help. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to help. Whether it’s on the phone or in person they make you feel like they are there to give you the time of the day to take care of your needs. I can honestly say I’m always happy to goto his office because of all the smiles I get ands how welcoming they always are. They always make me feel like a valued policy customer.

I have been a State Farm customer since I got my first car back in another decade
(won’t say which one). My agent was in Berkeley and my poor little VW bug was hit
twice (while parked) in two months. I was given $$ right away and was able to fix
the poor fender both times.
Years later after a period of not having a car – I got married, we got a car and moved out of Berkeley. Our original SF agent was on the San Pablo Ave in Richmond
location – once again SF came through a flood claim, a mini tornado claim,
a couple of other claims which I won’t get into detail about to protect the innocent (us)
and a mishap to our son’s car where the culprit actually left a long note and called the police to make a report!..
We recently had a claim on a rental car and that was cleared up right away.
David Recorder and his staff moved from the Richmond location (pictured here)
to their present office in San Pablo. The office space is larger and there is parking
(which was difficult at the Richmond location).
David and his staff are always friendly and helpful. They’re the kind of people
that you feel are your friends.
You can actually make payments online but we usually like to go into their office.

What can I say the guy is cool. Answers the phone. Has good knowledge of coverage issues. I got my workers comp with him. Excellent price. His price was more competitive than the State Fund. You should do business with him because, he knows his stuff, he is always available and his prices are good. Clear.

I work in the health field and called this office out of desperation to get information about a patient’s coverage… Francisco answered the phone he was friendly and helpful. I called him back later that day to discuss insurance options for myself… I went in to meet Francisco in person… the red walls of the interior were a little bright on the eyes but sitting down and discussing my insurance options with Francisco was a great experience. I usually picture sales guys like used car sales men. I try to avoid them at all costs.
Francisco was friendly and genuine. He wasn’t pushy but informative and I felt he looked out for my best interest.
At the end of our conversation… Francisco made a sale and I walked out with a new insurance policy and a State Farm Soccer Ball! It was a win/​win situation!
If you’re in need of good insurance coverage, have tons of questions and don’t know exactly what coverage you want GO SEE FRANCISCO! He has mega patience!

I contacted this state farm office around December of last year and the help that was provided to me was great. The rep was very helpful and gave me several options without being pushing. We compared my current coverage with the new and it worked out really well for me. Til this day when i have random questions about life or vehicle coverage I’ll call the office and someone always kindly helps me. Shows that they value and appreciate me as their customer. I would definitely recommend!
