History

Established in 2014.

My name is Samantha I am the owner, dog walker, and pet sitter of Lazy Bones Dog Adventures. My company is family-​owned and operated; I have over 10 yrs of professional dog walking & pet sitting experience while my son and daughter have over 15 yrs experience together doing the same. As far as my other walkers I have known them and are considered part of my family. I have shared with all of them my knowledge and techniques of handling and interacting with all types of animals while at home and out on the field.

I’m also a owner of two dogs myself and they are my babies and only want the best for them. I won’t settle for less and I put that into my work ethics everyday. We treat every customer like they and their pet were a part of our family.

I was raised on my grand fathers farm and was always around all types of animals from cows to chickens. Even as an adult and mother I’ve always have had all sorts of pets either by my choice or by my kids who always were bringing animals home.

I have over 10 yrs of professional dog walking & pet sitting experience and a life time of all around animal love and passion for animals.

I love Lazy Bones. Happened upon them at Mosswood Park and their hour playtime and socialization is invaluable. My dog is always whines a little when she comes home because she doesn’t want the fun to end.

Lazy Bones is GREAT! Very professional and warm! This past weekend I was in a bind to find a dog sitter for my two dogs while my husband and I went out of town. Even with short notice, Samantha was super responsive and became available for us! She answered all of my questions and even came for a meet and greet! While we were gone, she came twice a day to feed, walk and give love to our little guys. On top of that, she kept us updated on how they were doing with photos and videos. I will for sure be contacting Lazy Bones the next time that we go out of town and need a sitter! Thank you Lazy Bones Dog Adventures! :)

Samantha and her team are the best! They take my dog out 3x a week and he is super tired afterwards. Especially now that we commute to SF for work, I used to feel really guilty coming home from work late at night and my dog, Brewer, thinking it’s time to play. Now we come home to a happy, sleepy, well taken-​care-​of puppy. It’s good to know that he is having fun while my boyfriend and I are at work :)
Samantha had a meet and greet with us and Brewer loved her. The few times I’ve worked from home, he always runs straight to the door when Samantha or her daughter comes over to pick him up. You can tell that they all genuinely love dogs. They also send cute pictures and videos of the dogs playing, which are always nice to get while at work! The Lazy Bones Dog Adventures team is professional, nice, flexible, accommodating and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend, and Brewer says, «2 paws up!»

Samantha and her team are AMAZING dog walkers! My dog literally jumps for joy when they come and then she always comes home happy and exhausted. On top of that, Samantha is super easy to schedule with and is flexible about switching days, if needed. Also, her walks are super affordable. But most importantly, you know that your dog is in good hands and getting love and attention while you are at work.

Samantha and the rest of the team at Lazy Bones are wonderful! They have been walking my dog for almost 6 months now and the service is wgreat. I have a big 1 year old shepard mix that can be a lot to handle but Samantha does a great job with him and even shares training tips with me. My dog is always tried and happy when he gets back from an adventure with Lazy Bones! My schedule changes frequently and Samantha is always very flexible and accomodating. She is very easy to communicate with and is very responsive. I used the pet sitting service recently and Samantha took great care of my dog. She even picked him up and dropped him off at my house! I think the prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of service and care my dog gets. I’m very thankful I found Lazy Bones and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker or pet sitter!

Samantha and company have been taking my dog out on potty breaks during the day when I have to be at the office. I’m a freelancer so my schedule can be really erratic. They are always understanding and accommodating. Most importantly, my 13 year old greyhound is happy and taken care of :) I stopped using my last dog walker when I came home and my dog had peed on the floor. I know my dog like clockwork and if the dogwalker was there during the window of hours she said she would be there — an accident never would have happened. I’ve never had anything but positive experiences with Lazy Bones, and I feel quite grateful to have someone trustworthy to take my dog out. Thank you so much!

Samantha, the owner of Lazy Bones, is really nice. She picked up my dog in the morning and entertained him for hours, then dropped him back off at my house. I came home from work in the evening and had a very tired little dog.
I would recommend Lazy Bones to anybody who has a dog!
