I decided to try Tammy. Kevin usually cuts my hair but Tammy did a great job plus she gave me a nice little scalp & neck massage! Next time I see her I will ask if she gives massages! They should have a massage table! ty tammy

I used to get my haircut from Ann, who is fantastic and so friendly. I went back, but no Ann. Apparently she is now at Thees Salon, also in Pinole. I had my haircut by one of the ladies there, but she didn’t listen to me and cut my bangs too short. Won’t be going back. I’ll follow Ann at Thees.

The lady was nice and all, but her cut my hair really bad. She messed up my line up and Thanks to her I discovered Above The Rest Barber Studio in El Sobrante. Thanks for the bad haircut, I found a better barber shop that way.

Ok… customers and People come and telling me what you have been saying Mrs. Xcelcuts owner, you do not stop We will be seeing each other in court. If you can say any thing good don’t say it at all… customers came looking for me I did not take them from you, also sorry you don’t know how to run business and don’t know how to do styles

I’ve been getting haircuts here since I was a toddler. In fact, my parents were acquainted with one of the barbers named Fe, who (I think) retired.
I usually go to Lily for my haircuts, French manicures, and waxing. She’s very friendly and I always love the haircuts she gives me.

DO NOT have your hair be Cut or even be TOUCHED by NORA!!!
She murdered my hair, considering we were talking and laughing at stylists who does that to their poor clients. I came in for a trim of my dry ends 3 weeks ago. I know and i have this as a rule that never have anyone else touch your hair other than your favorite stylist, but LILY (the stylist who cuts my hair-she’s good!) wasn’t in and won’t be back until the end of that week. I couldn’t wait for her any longer, so against my better judgement i agreed to have NORA cut my hair. I didn’t notice what happened until i got home, she took out a BIG CHUNK of my hair by my right ear, looking like i have a MULLET. I have mixed reviews and feelings about this place. I couldn’t do anything else about it, but just to give this review and warning to anyone thinking to have their haircut at this place. Their prices is really reasonable, but choose LILY– she’s good and friendly!

Ok raising this back up to 5 stars because I finally found out the names of the two ladies that always give me a good haircut.
One of them is named Nora. She’s the older filipina lady with the bangs, the glasses, and the mole on her chin. She will do a good job and be fast about it, and also make some good conversation. She’s super nice but since shes fast, she’ll make a mistake once in awhile and maybe miss a patch of hair.
The other girl is named Lily. She’s the youngest one here, and has the chair at the farthest end of the shop. She’s gotta be the best haircutter I’ve ever had. She takes a little longer than the other girls, but she is basically perfection with scissors. She’s also fun to talk to. I prefer her most out of all the ladies here.
Wooo yay for a great haircut today. My head doesn’t look like Bieber anymore :)
