I love this coffee stop. I stop here on Fridays as a little cheat breakfast and for my final caffeine boost for the week. Everyone who has worked there is super friendly, which is always welcome on a Friday morning and everyone says«hi» when you walk in. Their coffee is DELICIOUS, not over roasted like Starbucks down the street(yuck). The beans are perfectly roasted so you have robust taste without the bitterness — exactly how coffee should be. I also get one of their two breakfast sandwiches and both are so good for a little cheat breakfast — a little greasy but exactly what I’m looking for. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone who works or lives downtowns as a step up from Starbucks.

The place is cool but the staff I dealt with was unfriendly, except for one girl who told my son she liked his toy robot. The cashier never said hello, thank you, or anything else besides my total. I said thank you and she just stared. I also felt as if the prices are a little steep. My raspberry cookie crumble(iced) was good, not bad, not great, just good.

Adorable little coffee spot! Stopped here before heading over to the Three Rivers Arts Festival on Sunday. The staff were friendly, and my iced caramel latte was delicious! They had a cute upstairs area with seating, which would be an awesome study spot. I hope to visit again soon!

I was feeling wild today, so I decided to hit up a new spot for my daily coffee fix. Rock ‘n’ Joes was just around the corner, and I’ve been eyeing up this place for a while. It’s a small yet charming two story coffee shop. Walking in, the first thing my eyes were drawn to were the gorgeous pastries. After reminding myself I was on a diet, I averted my eyes to the drink menu. I went with the classic cold brew, and it did not disappoint! The taste was not too bold or powerful but very delicious and refreshing, especially in today’s heat! The coffee had the right amount of strength to keep me going for the rest of the day without giving me an uncomfortable caffeine high. The barista was very knowledgeable about the brewing process and the items on the menu on top of being super friendly. Overall, I give this place two thumbs up. I will definitely be back!

Great coffee and and espresso. They also have a punch card which I am a huge fan of! I am so thrilled that there is a better option than Starbucks on this side of town, that has extended hours(nights and weekends). Most coffee places in town close around four or five.

Great local coffee shop in downtown and it’s around other local and commercial coffee shops. Hope this place goes places.

All my co-workers love this place. I went once. I ordered a latte with sugar free vanilla. It was almost 7 dollars! The same thing anywhere else is about 5 or so. It tasted ok, but 7 bucks for a latte is just not going to happen! If you enjoy plain coffee, this place is in line with the cost for coffee. Otherwise, go elsewhere!

Best coffee I’ve had in Pittsburgh. Really convenient for people who work downtown. Amazing atmosphere, lots of seating upstairs to work remote! Definitely worth it to check it out!

Very Pricy. A small latte costs $ 5.30!!! And it was supposed to be caramel overload but it was just horribly bitter! The ambience maybe nice but Never going back there.

Cute, two level coffee shop right on corner of 5th Ave and Penn Ave. You order downstairs and enjoy the drink upstairs or take it out. There’s a variety of espresso drinks and different brews of coffee: cold brew, French press and pour over! I’m so glad more coffee shops are adding different brewing methods other than the auto drip. For espresso drinks, it looked like they only have a few flavor syrup varieties, I couldn’t tell for sure. They also have a little case of food and sandwiches and salads on the menu. My husband and I ordered a cappuccino and a flat white. Both were good, the espresso not too incredibly bitter, but the service was a bit slow. We were here the second day it was open so I’m sure the baristas were still learning. Looking forward to coming back.

Great new location, great espresso, warm greetings, friendly staff and quick service! Their menu offers a variety of options, including food items(sandwiches, wraps, salads and pastries). You can order on the go, or head upstairs for the seating area with a nice atmosphere. Tip: entrance on fifth avenue side.
