Business Owner

Dr. Chang studied at U.C. San Diego, where she received her B.S. in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2003. Her extensive clinical training included seeing patients in diverse practice settings such as laser vision centers and ophthalmology group practice. She has a special interest in specialty contact lens care and eye disease treatment. Her office offers services in Korean and Spanish.

Dr. Chang is wonderful. So patient and thorough with my daughters exam. The staff is also nice and knowledgeable about insurance and was helpful getting my benefits for me. Super clean office and no wait time overall great experience. Definitely will be returning for the rest of my family.

Dr. Chang is awesome. She picked on a small nuance regarding my contact lens prescription (my axis was slightly misaligned). Yes it does make a difference who you choose as your optometrist! Choose one that has this kind of care and attention to detail!

Dr Matty Chang is awesome. Not only was she super nice and sweet, she knows her stuff and helped me with my eye issues like a pro. I have more issues than the normal patient and her hi tech facility is able to administer a wide range of tests that usually Opthamologists do. She also has a great selection of frames which is a bonus! I’m a regular for life!

Dr. Chang is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. She explains all options available to you in an easy to understand manner. Her staff is friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Most importantly, my appointment was kept on time, a rarity in any kind of doctor’s office these days.
This was my first visit to Dr. Chang but I will be a regular customer in the future.

My 2 sons have been getting glasses here. Dr. Chang is very nice and helpful. She does a very thorough job and takes the time to explain the process and results if the eye exams. The front desk is amazing! They really work with you and help pick out the right glasses. Having 2 boys they bend and tweak their glasses often. They are very understanding and helpful when it comes to adjustments. I recommend century eye optometry highly. Great service!!!

The receptionist was friendly. Dr. Matty Chang was very thorough with the eye exam and answered all my questions. I ordered glasses and frames from her and my husband ordered contacts. Our order came within a week. I also love how they gave me contact solutions with my purchase. a lot of places don’t do that anymore. total BONUS,

Went in for a checkup and contact lenses. Easy process. Came in at my appt time, got checked up, given options on the brands of lenses and was done. They were even nice enough to mail me my contacts when I moved to San Jose for work.

when i came in for my appointment, the receptionist greeted me kindly and was accommodating. within minutes, dr. chang met with me! she is so warm and friendly, i felt relaxed and comfortable. She was thorough with the exam and really took the time to explain everything in detail and asked me questions about my eyes and showed a lot of care. she just wanted to give me the best solution possible. she put in the order for my contacts and told me that if the fit was uncomfortable, i could come back and she will take care of it. but that wasn’t necessary since the fit was perfect! i totally trust her with my eyes! it was such a positive experience, i will definitely be coming back for my annual exams and contacts! i highly recommend her :)

I had my annual eye exam there and they did a great job. The front office person was really nice and very accomodating of my changing appts around my work schedule. The doc is very patient and took the time to explain how my eyes were coming along. My wife went at the same time and felt the same way. Nice to find someone who likes what they do for a living.
I ordered some new glasess and they came in lickety-​split.
They even gave my 5 year-​old a exam and got him a cool new pair of specs. This place is very family friendly. This will be our eye place for a long time to come.
