History

Established in 1998.

Diane has taken off with expert advice and training from food professionals Jacques Pépin and Paula Wolfert. Additionally, she has taken wine studies with Darrell Corti, Hall of Fame vintner, and David Berkley who started David Berkley’s Fine Foods. Since her formal training, she has expanded and grown, especially as an early proponent for green catering. A self proclaimed locovore, Diane despises waste and loves local and organic!

If Diane is not in her kitchen working on a new recipe, she is out in her ¼ acre, all-organic garden planting and picking for your event. In search of a caterer for my wedding, I found Diane here on Unilocal.We got in contact with her and she had my fiancé my parents and myself over to her house for dinner. She made appetizers, and a full meal for us all. Everything was absolutely amazing. We left and all decided on the drive home that we were going to go with her for our wedding. From the day we signed contracts to the day of the wedding she was hands on and gave amazing advice for how things should go. Fast forward– the food at our wedding. We chose to go with the chicken and filet for our meats. Worth every penny. You could cut your filet with a fork. Perfectly prepared, the flavor was unreal and I was constantly hearing people ask if they could go back for more. She had a plate of appetizers for my husband and I at our table when we returned from pictures, and following the appetizers we received a full plate of food. Unbelievable. I’m so happy we went with her and so thankful for everything she did to make our day perfect. She worked her booty off and it definitely showed. I will without a doubt use her for any future events.

Diane catered my celebratory dinner party. The food was absolutely, amazingly delicious! All my guests were impressed and repeatedly inquired how I found her! Many guests went up for seconds and some even had a third helping! The food presentation was artistic, beautiful and demonstrated one of Diane’s many talents. Diane also designed a menu with specific dietary restrictions of my parents in mind. My parents were greatly appreciate of Diane’s sincere interest to ensure that they would enjoy a wonderful meal. I was incredible appreciative that Diane took such good care of my parents.
Diane not only prepared an incredible feast, she cares about her customers as well. I had received some beautiful flowers from my guests. However, I did not have time to place them in vase as I was attending to other guests. Diane took it upon her self to wash some vases that had an embarrassing collection of dust. Then she carefully arranged the flowers and displayed them on the tables. That was really above and beyond the duties of a caterer. Moreover, it was an illustration of Diane’s sweet, caring and wonderful nature.
If you need a caterer, I would strongly recommend Diane Wilkinson Catering!

We used Diane for our son’s rehearsal dinner which was held at High Hill Ranch. Her assistant came and did a WONDERFUL job. The food was EXCELLENT. Several guests went for 2nds. The assistant even packed up the food that was left into 2 packages. 1 for the bridal party to take to the place they were staying at and 1 for the hotel the rest of us were staying at. I highly recommend Diane and will use her again!

Diane Wilkinson catered our wedding this past June and was absolutely fantastic! #1 the food is delicious and she has the flexibility to help you build whatever kind of menu you would like for your event. #2 She is an absolute professional and will make sure everything is taken care of and presented in a professional way. #3 She has a super star staff and everyone works so hard to make sure your event is the best event ever. Diane is a gem among caterers and both her energy, professionalism, and genuine character shines through. She is a very busy woman and booked out at least months in advance so make sure you book with her immediately. Diane’s team catered my wedding of 60 guests in June 2014. When I was looking for caterers, I kept getting nickel-and-dimed by all of them on the quotes I was given. Diane was different; she invited us to a tasting at her home, and we didn’t talk costs until the very end after we had finished discussing our vision for the wedding and food. She was super affordable and beat out the prices from all the other caterers I got quotes from — great for a pair of graduate students! She does not have a set menu (though provides suggestions) so you are free to create a menu that suites you. Our ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS menu included almond-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates, caprese skewers, tri-tip, peach glazed chicken, stuffed portabello mushrooms, roasted potatoes, beet and walnut salad, spinach salad, and polenta. Diane and her team are wonderful and highly recommended!

I have attended at least a dozen events over the years that have been catered by Diane Wilkinson Catering. Every dish I have ever eaten of hers has been incredible. Unique, artistic, and made with excellent quality ingredients. You can really tell Diane infuses her passion and excitement into every menu item. Her attention to detail in presentation and décor at events is incredible.
I highly recommend Diane for any event you need catered– wedding reception, bridal shower, baby shower, dinner party, cocktail party, commercial or movie shoot… any size! She is truly talented and it really shows.
