Be Aware of this company. They have other people that rent under there name and then keep deposits and then claim they are not affiliated with the person whom owns the rv. Run

His onsite calendar indicated his motor home was free. I called and he said it was available, so I reserved it. I received a verbal reservation for Thanksgiving 3 months ahead, with a followup email; I sent the necessary paperwork, which he acknowledged receiving, and I authorized a Certified Check for the full down payment to be sent directly from my bank. At the same time, I sent him an email notification of this and an estimated date for the check to arrive at his location.
On the day of the «estimated arrival date», without notification, he abruptly cancelled my reservation, on a technicality that the «funds had not arrived». I immediately called and told him I could wire the funds immediately if the certified check was late. His response: «I have to follow my procedures and I never pressure my clients; another reservation arrived with the check». He adamently refused to honor my reservation.
I’m sure he just forgot to reserve his own motorhome for himself for that time and used this as his excuse. The problem was that I had made other plans and reservations based on our mutual agreement. The next day he emailed and said the check had arrived and he would return it, which he did.
People need to know there are consequences to their actions, and not honoring an agreement comes with consequences. The more people report this type of behavior, the less this will happen. At the very least it is very poor customer service. It took me 6 more hours to find a replacement motorhome.
