Small but now they are expanding!!! Love them. They always carry fresh produce and are best prices. The staff is amazing. There’s nothing negative to say about this place. It’s on a shopping strip so there more place to walk to and shop at. The lines go fast.

Trader Joes has this thing about putting their stores in obnoxious upscale Long Island neighborhoods. What’s funny is Trader Joe’s is not especially upscale or snobby or anything of the sort. So, like what’s the deal with all that? Anyway– and fortunately –this Trader Joe’s has – guess what? AMPLEPARKING ! Great staff as usual– a LOT of long time employees at this location –always a good sign. The always-in-a-hurry customers are typically obnoxious and you are just in their way – so MOVE! Again DONOTCOMEHEREONSUNDAYAFTERNOONS. SUNDAYAFTERNOONIS «ORANGEALERT» for LONGISLAND’S obnoxious a**holes & shopping. Do what I do; shop Tuesdays between 10 am &2 pm. It’s so worth it.

After experiencing some TJ’s in NYC, this store is an absolute gem. Yes, at peak times it will be crowded and, as in the case at most supermarkets, there will probably be a line at check-out, but the fact that you don’t have to shop around the outside aisles of the store bc the line starts immediately when you walk in is a huge bonus.(That last line makes so much sense if you’ve ever been in the Union Square TJ’s.) In general, TJ’s is perfect for me, in terms of price and health food status. It’s not too deep(or steep) in either department, but you can find way healthier alternatives here than at a regular market. Come here, take your time, avoid the huge snaking lines.

Average as always very busy, rude shoppers and everyone fighting! It’s always best to go here first thing in the morning. Beat the crowds.

I love this location. I have been coming here for the past two years every two weeks and everyone is always so super helpful and accommodating. They are always upbeat and positive. They’re super sweet and always strike up a conversation. They have such good vibes in there, and they’re always clean. I love this place and especially the employees. Sincerely, banana girl

Visited this Trader Joe’s today(the day after Christmas) and I have been here many times before. The shopping center is crowded and bustling which makes it sometimes hard to park. The store is smaller than the one that I normally frequent in Tampa, but it is nice for the area. The shelves were well stocked and everything was very fresh. The beer selection is very limited and they do not sell wine. The lines were long, but well managed and the cashiers were both efficient and friendly.

We love Trader Joes great prices high quality food and better than local supermarket pricing on just about every food item & their own trade mark brand is very high quality. Ready to make frozen foods such as various Chinese stir fry, other frozen foods & vegetables etc I have found to be cheap in price and generous in proportion. I applaud Trader Joes for their staff as well as they are always friendly and quick with a smile definitely a tight knit group kinda like staff at Starbucks, just kool people. The samples given out in the back of store as well as the free coffee is a definite plus. Highly recomend this place I will shop here much more and forget the bigger grocery chain stores

Love Trader Joes!!! TJs is my «regular» market, and Whole Foods is my «once a month» splurge :-) Eat well, and still save $$$ This location is on the smaller side, but that’s exactly why i like it and actually prefer it over their larger locations. Keeping the selection small gets me in and out quicker, and pretty much anything they stock is a winner.

This is my favorite TJ’s. I love the setup and the selection. It gets packed at certain times, mainly the weekends. The staff is so nice and helpful and more than once have even made meal suggestions. If you bring your own bags, you can enter their weekly raffle to win a $ 25 gift card.

They are well stocked, and the workers are very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is enormous. Parking isn’t as bad as the TJ in Westbury.

This is just the best TJs I’ve been to. It isn’t the biggest one, but the staff is awesome and the store is always organized and clean. They have no issues with looking in the back for something or helping you out. I rarely run into long lines either. The best deal here has to be the flowers. For 5.99, you get a gorgeous bouquet, nicer than some florists. Stock up on frozen veggies and other specialties. The meat is pricey, but good. Pre made salads are also super cheap, 3 – 5 $, and a great deal. I pick up a few for the week and bring them for lunch at work. The only issue is that often, you’ll find items get discontinued. Be aware that since this is a smaller TJs they might not carry all the same items as a larger store, but be assured that most of what you’re looking for will be here.

The«trader mings«wonton soup tastes disgusting (they took it back w/o a issue). I like the store. The employees are nice. I like to sample the coffee in the back.

They have a great assortment at Trader Joes. I can find organic milks, canned goods, breads have great value, etc etc. Sometimes they run out of items you only come in for, so you SHOULD call them if you want that certain cake for the weekend. And make sure it’s not straight from their back freezer(it seems to have ice crystals in it at that point, not sure if they know that…). The staff on registers go out of their way practically to help you bag, I’m almost always looking to bag everything myself nowadays but they’re all«we can do that better, let us.» ha!

This Trader Joes in Plainview has the absolute best employees. Every time I go there they go out of their way to make sure I leave with what I was looking for. I went there this morning and a young man(should have got his name) looked all over to find my low carb wraps I wanted. Just a really great Trader Joes!!!

My favorite TJ’s. It’s always busy and kind of small, but it’s in a great shopping center with lots of parking and it’s well stocked. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

One of the original specialty food stores. Before Fairway, Uncle G’s etc. They have a flyer to tempt you with such things as Honey Fig Walnut cream cheese and Goat cheese with apple and cinnamon. MMM just sit me down with a spoon and keep the paramedics number handy it’s worth it. Great place to walk around and find unusual food items.

Location is smaller compared the other ones like the city. Lines can be long but they move pretty fast. Picking a shorter line at the registers might not neccesarily mean that it will go faster. They should have everyone wait in one big line and go to the next register thats free, it’s only fair. Items on the weekends are sometimes not in stock or have not been restocked yet. Parking can be hard to find during busy times like the weekends.

What’s not to love about Trader Joe’s. True, they don’t have everything always, but they have good stuff at good prices, and stuff that’s hard to find elsewhere. Had beautiful strawberries when Shop Rite and King Kullen were out of them(?!) I’m sure Fairway and Whole Foods are also great, but at a higher price. Trader Joe’s is where it’s at. That being said, I don’t do my weekly food shopping here. It’s not really put together for that(see also: Stew Leonards, which is nowhere near here)
