The chicken crepes are very good. I keep the hollandaise sauce on the side. I can do without it. I have eaten these crepes twice now. Still good. As always, something is sticky in a IHOP. This one is no different. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Won’t be back for a while… We walked in to see the host and one server just hanging out near the back corner, chatting between themselves. We made eye contact with the host. After a few seconds, not sure why the longer-than-expected delay since they weren’t doing anything, he breaks our way, only to make a turn into the kitchen… followed by the server. WTF! After another 10 seconds or so and being passed over by another server and seeing that they weren’t busy enough to justify the treatment we were receiving, we just turned and left. No, I’m not usually that impatient, but then again I’m not usually that overtly disrespected either.

I know it’s IHOP and my expectations shouldn’t be too high. Having said that, the food was pretty typical of every IHOP I’ve been in, so not bad but nothing special. Our waiter was nice enough but again nothing special. I probably would have given it three stars if it Hadn’t been for the noise level. The exhibition style kitchen is located right in the middle of the restaurant and you have the privilege of listening to all the very loud conversations the staff are having among themselves. Arguments with the cooks and other wait staff were nonstop. Discussions of who had completed their side work and who had not, who was supposed to be working what tables along with details of their personal lives continued the whole time we were there. All in all what would have been a pretty normal coffee shop experience was marred by all the loud and unnecessary conversation on the part of the staff.

This place used to be the go-to place for my friends and I past midnight, but after tonight’s atrocious service, I doubt we’ll return. We waited for over an hour before leaving(there were only 2 – 4 other tables with customers), we could hear screaming from the kitchen(most of it dealing with redoing orders), and my friend could see that they were leaving the fridge door open. We didn’t trust the food, so we left. Do not visit this location, there are better places to get pancakes late at night!

We walked in and, they aren’t busy. I sat down it took so long for the hostess to come up. She ask the man who just walked in, how many? I replied 2. She looked at him and ask if he was first. I made it clear I wasn’t rude enough to cut in front of others. Then had to fight flying insects the whole meal. Our server was nice but needs some training. No refills for any drinks. Worst IHOP I’ve ever entered.

This place isn’t the worst, it just could be there. My friends and myself believe the restuarant is very understaffed, probably due to the usual lack of customers during not peak hours. Admittably, we went in at 8:30 p.m. but Pancakes wait for no man and we wanted dessert. The pancakes we got were the Chocolate Chocolates and they weren’t the standard quality. They were very floury in taste and they didn’t really taste of chocolate unless you had a mouthful of chocolate chips; It needed a little more attention and time. The server was quiet and polite, and the service wasn’t terrible, but I’d rather go to the Garland location where its cleaner, better run and packed as a testament of its quality. Time may help this location, but only it will tell. And yes, I eat pancakes at 9 in the night.

It’s IHOP… and yes, I’m reviewing IHOP. Haha… but seriously, one thing that came to my attention in Dallas is exactly how hard it is to find a good cup of hot chocolate. I checked many chocolate shops and many of them don’t make them in store. I also checked some Latin places, and their hot chocolate is pretty much watered down — no good. Hot chocolate should be dark, thick and sweet. And when a friend of mine recommended IHOP for hot chocolate, I simply scratched my head. But he swore by his word, and suggested it multiple times. And so it came to be — I, of all people, went to IHOP in the evening to order the hot chocolate. Little did I know that they had even special seasonal flavors for them. I went with the toasted marshmallow(it came recommended and it did sound good), and when I sipped it, it was pretty much as good as it gets. Hot chocolate at IHOP, recommended. Now, if the food could only be better. I ordered the Tex-Mex chicken quesadilla, and while it was a good portion, it was a bit lacking in flavor. Plus, it wasn’t even accompanied by guacamole, which I thought was unusual for a quesadilla. So really, food is just ‘eh.‘ Would I come back? Well thankfully there are IHOP Express(even one inside UTD campus) that can be fitting for a quick hot chocolate to go. Atmosphere: New and modern, plenty of seating with a less-attractive looking party room(aka large family room) in the back Service: Students, can be a hit or a miss

We came here on a very busy Sunday afternoon but our wait wasn’t too long to get seated. I ordered the strawberry crepes and my friend had the breakfast sampler. Everything was good. The only weird thing was the three dollar a glass orange juice; that’s a bit pricey. This is a good location and I’d return.

Worse than the usual 3.5 star IHOP. Dirty, poor service, mediocre food except for some decent breakfast items. Bad!

WOW keep away from this IHop they changed the quality of the omelette. I ordered a bacon temptation and it came out kid size and the excuse was that the supervisor was observing quantities. If they are 3 eggs omelettes size matters like i used to and they do in other places NOBUENO

We have been to several stores in this chain. For most of them you get 3.5 stars. We came in around 2pm… starving. We were greeted and seated promptly. While waiting for our food we had time to observe how dirty this restaurant actually was. Many empty booths still had chunks of food on the floor near the table or booth. When we were ready for our bill we waited much longer than normal– our server was folding napkins and sharing jokes with fellow workers — oblivious to our waving for his attention. Perhaps we got there during a shift change–

Yesterday was IHOP57th birthday. I took 5 kids to enjoy the 57 cents pancake special. Of course, the place was packed. We went to the IHOP at Collin Creek mall. We got seated after 35 minutes wait. Not too bad. However, after waiting for more than 20 minutes and seeing another family that was seated about 15 minutes after us ordering, I got to speak up. Glad I did… They might have overlooked our table. Morgan our waitress was pleasant and polite even when she was super busy. We ordered 6 pancakes special 57 cents, sampler appetizer $ 7.59, chicken strips $ 6.99, chicken fajita $ 9.29, philly cheese steak sandwich $ 7.99, and big steak omelette $ 9.79. It took almost another 30 minutes to get our foods. The kids started complaining. Oh well, this can teach them to be patience!!! We got to the restaurant at 6:35pm and finally get to eat at 8:05pm. The buttermilk pancakes were great as usual. Sampler appetizer mozzarella cheese sticks and the onion rings were hot and crunchy but the chicken strips were hard and dried with barely any meat. Chicken fajita has layers of eggs(in lieu of tortillas) that was very good… I will definitely order that again. The philly cheese steak sandwich was yummy as well. It was packed with lots of meat and cheese. The big steak omelette was average as it has barely any steak and too much hash browns that overpowered the plate. I am in between 3 to 4 stars and give it a 4 because our waitress was great and pleasant. … And the strawberry splashberry $ 2.69 was yummilicious.

Pretty good restaurant, interior is pretty spacious and new decors makes it more inviting. The food came out in a timely manner however, I could barely hear what our server was talking about. His voice was way too soft and I had to ask for him to speak up a bit. However, overall, I’d definitely come back again as its a great place for brunch and space wise, is a lot better than the one on Spring Valley and Central Expressway.

I just want to say that this is a typical IHOP. We only came here because Café Brazil for some reason wasn’t cooking and after burning up a lot of energy form a boy band concert, my wife was hungry… so we came here. The food was good. I always stick to the breakfast menu since the rest of the menu is usually not good at all and pricy for the quality that comes out. Our waitress was okay. I can tell she wasnt happy that she had to work the night shift, which I can understand… thus we got the typical iHOP.

probably the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. our server just did not care. his poor attitude made my 1 dollar tip seem too much. it really pissed a customer off when you give a poor attitude. tips are to be earned. not because we are required to give. yes it is late at night but that shouldn’t be an excuse for you to give the customer an attitude. it wasn’t even busy. you apologize for the food wait but we waited for 40 minutes after we finish our food then had to flag down a waiter for to go boxes. the food is always good here but the poor service this time is making me not wanting to come back here again.

I love IHOP because you always get the nicest servers and the fastest service. The food is always good and never disappointing. It’s always hot and delicious. Oh, and open 24 hours? How can you beat that? This location is right beside Collin Creek mall, and right off George Bush Tollway and 75 highway. If you haven’t been to IHOP, then you’ve been living under a rock. It’s affordable and good and serves breakfast and dinner all hours.
