Service King Collision Repair of South Plano

Had an experience with Russell Royce, a very smug know it all that threw me under the bus with the insurance company. My son got into an accident in Lubbock and when I took it in for an estimate the guy in Frisco was awesome, his name is Chris. Unfortunately, the only store available for the repair was Plano where I stumbled into Russell. He started questioning the damage and I told him that my son went to school in January had a wreck and here are the spots that are new. He saw a dent 18″ from the point of impact and proactively contacted the insurance company to re-​inspect my vehicle. Naturally I am fighting with them to cover $ 600 worth of damage that occurred in this incident they are now denying thanks to Russell. I am still looking for Russel’s forensic accident reconstructionist certificate or he is just simply trying to keep his options open in the Insurance claims industry? Either way, I will never go back to a Service King! Thanks Russell for being so dedicated to your profession that you forgot one very important fact… Customers come first.

They fix one problem but then gave me another problem. That being said just shortly after I picked up my car I hear this noise coming from either underneath or near the rear of my car. I have called and left voicemails for George but he never called me back. I was hoping the noise would go away but it managed to get worst. I believe they just fixed the obvious problem when there seemed to be other issues.
My car wasn’t making any noise before the accident so I’m assuming this was accident related. If it wasn’t then that was fine, I just needed some peace of mind if this issue was a maintenance thing or accident related.
I will not be back nor recommend.

This place is pretty great. Let’s begin with totally removing the fact that I even needed to get my repaired. I don’t like to talk about «the accident.»
The damages to my vehicle were repaired through insurance. I chose Service King because if its proximity and warranty available through the contract/​agreement with my insurance carrier. I’d never worked with them
before.
They get it. I got a total of two phone calls, once confirming receipt of my vehicle and the needed repairs and one letting me know it was ready to pick up. There was no inundation of calls or letters, etc. Lets talk about what happened between those calls. I received text updates that were perfect. I was told when work started, parts were ordered, received, and updates on where they were with meeting the estimated repair time.
The car is repaired and there no issues. If there are, I have a lifetime warranty with them.

I’ve gone here twice for body work and have been pleased both times. My insurance company sent me here for an estimate the first time and I ended up just getting the world done here because it was convent. I went back the second time because my pervious experience was positive. While you do have to schedule a time to get an estimate and schedule a time to drop your car off for repairs, it is nice to get in and out quickly. There is a waiting room but I’ve never had to wait there. The ladies at the front desk and always friendly and professional. You are assigned to one person who handles your estimate and repairs. It’s nice to always talk to the person who knows exactly what is going on with your car. I really hope I don’t need a repair shop anytime in the near future, but I would probably go back to this place.

Henry the rep from service king called us and told us our car was ready but when we came up there he told us that he wanted to keep the car because the repairs did not look right. We had just returned our rental car and had to get another one that was supposed to be covered by insurance. When we finally get our car back and return our rental, we get a call from the rental company stating we owe $ 140 for the rental when we should have already had our car back in the first place. Henry will not return my phone calls or text. We get hit from behind in our wreck but the worst part of the whole ordeal is getting hit from behind by service King! Great customer service, huh? What a joke! Never using service King or enterprise again.

I have been here twice for car repairs after accidents and had exceptional service. The first time, I was assigned Chuck as my service person. He took the time to explain how everything would go (my first accident), how he would work with the insurance company with any changes and when my car was estimated to be ready. I got periodic text messages from Chuck letting me know where my car was at in the process and it was ready right on time. When I picked it up, I pointed out a couple areas that needed some attention and Chuck got them fixed immediately. The repairs to my car were done professionally and there was no way to tell it had even been repaired.
I was so impressed with the service I received at Service King, that when I was recently in an accident, I called Chuck right away and had my car towed directly there. I have a Kia and service king is actually where they send their cars for body work. Chuck gave me the name of the towing company they use who would bill them directly for the tow. Again, he began work on the estimate immediately and had it to the insurance company as soon as they accepted liability. The original time estimate for my car to be ready was 3 weeks (there was quite a bit of damage), but Chuck kept me up to date by text message and it was actually ready a week early! Again, repairs were done professionally and I can’t tell the difference between it and a brand new car. I highly recommend this Service King and Chuck specifically. He will do absolutely everything he can to make you happy.
Side note: there is an Enterprise car rental attached to this service king, which is pretty convenient.

I don’t recommend this business. I had a front end wreck and a few months after car was supposedly repaired the radiator overheated. Never had any problem prior to the wreck. Another radiator shop showed us where putty was placed on the radiator when front end accident happened. No other shop had access to the radiator except Service King. They of course denied doing this but car was working excellently prior to wreck. It cost me over $ 3,000 to repair car again.

Had my car appraised somewhere else took 5 min went here 4 guys chatting finally after 10 minutes one asked me if I needed help I said I needed a quote for insurance
Waited 10 minutes for the guy who never showed
So I left and when the guy asked why I suggested that if they could not give me a quote in time how long would it take to fix the car. A year
Anyway they must have a lot of business or Not want any going somewhere else

I was here once again, this time for my own vehicle, and my experience was beyond excellent. Henry was my guy, and once again, he did not disappoint. Not only was my car completely fixed, which it hadn’t been when I took it to be fixed when I had a previous wreck, he fixed damage that was from the previous wreck AND cleaned my car from top to bottom, making it look new again. He is definitely a treasure, and makes a stressful situation much better. Thank you, Henry!!!

they had contract with Farmers so I took my BMW there for a moderate body repair.
Bad workmanship and I ended going back three times; the service guy was giving me attitude too rather than being apologetic. My bumper is still loose.

Great place!!! Had to have a bumper replaced after getting hit from behind and Manuel was wonderful through the whole process! Greg Wyatt was so great on ordering me the best parts possible to make my car look brand new! Great job guys! I will most certainly come back!

My daughter had an accident in early December, the day before we were all iced in. Our insurance company instructed us to use Service King for the repairs. They said they would come pick up the car the next morning at 10 am. Of course by that time, everything was frozen solid under a layer of ice. Schools and businesses were closed, the streets were deserted. I didn’t expect to see them by 10, for sure. Wasn’t I quite surprised when the tow truck arrived a little BEFORE 10! We got a call later that afternoon with a preliminary estimate. Our customer service agent (Chad) was very good about keeping us updated, we never had to call him ourselves. The car was ready in 2 weeks, which I thought was a reasonable amount of time. We had later located the front plate of the car, but forgot to take it with us when we picked it up. Chad told us to just bring it back and he’d put it on, which he did on Christmas Eve. Thanks Chad and Service King for making a bad situation bearable!

Do not EVER take your vehicle to this location, if ANY Service King!!! I have been back 5x for two repairs, and each time they give me my vehicle back with more damage than I took in there. Even the manager is in on the scam. I tried to e-​mail them, and got no response whatsoever. They couldn’t even match the paint on my newer vehicle. They kept blaming everything on degradation or ‘rock chips’ in areas where there were none (since I also hand wash my car) and had never gotten any damage (which would show up WHITE due to my undercoat!). Which means they would have had to have painted over existing damage which is bad quality of work in my book in any regard.
