The answer is: Each is created by the brain. Peak performance occurs when the brain is able to do a particular job in a highly efficient manner; the rest are symptoms produced by a brain that is malfunctioning and not able to perform as it should.
I had this revelation: Problems with attention, learning, behavior and mood are not really «abnormalities» at all.
I didn’t used to think this way. For decades, I thought of peak performance as «hard work,» and brain problems as «diseases» or «disorders.» After all, this is what my life and my medical training had taught me.
