Today I had an appointment at 7:30 pm with the stylist Kami at Collin creek mall salon; this appointment was taken last Friday and the receptionist got me phone yesterday to confirm it At 7:20 pm I was waiting for my turn when I saw Kami get a client who had just arrived when it was my turn! I was horrified to see this and left the salon swearing that I’ll never come again and will not recommend it to friends!

Corie is the BEST, I haven’t had decent haircut in over 3 years since my last go-to stylist moved. But Corie did EXACTLY what I wanted and she made my hair look fantabulous! I received so many compliments today… so happy to have stylist again!!!

Never going here again. I paid for the highest color specialist and the first time she did my highlights they didn’t even stay. The 2nd redo I showed her a picture of what i wanted(dark brown hair with caramel balyage hightlights). She ended up giving me ombré. I spent years trying to grow out my hair and keep it from being damaged. Then she just bleached it. I called the manager and they wouldn’t even give me a refund. He just said he could get me in with different stylist. As if i’m ever coming back.

So I have been going to this location for the bast 7 or more years. The last few times I been disappointed. The most recent I had a 3 pm appointment. I checked in 10 mins until 3. I sat for over 45 mins and no one came to me. I just sat there. This is the second time I have done that. It has really gone down since their best stylist have left. No one worth waiting for. I live over 45 mins away and always went out of my way to this place. I will now follow one of the stylist that left and go to her new place of business. It’s an extra 15 mins on top of that but worth not getting«forgotten». Especially from a customer who has been a regular for such a long time.

**DONTCOMETOTHISSALON ** Came in Sunday for a haircut and dye left looking worse than when I went it! I showed the«color specialist» a picture of how I wanted my hair. I told her how I had black hair dye in it(about 3months back). She told me I could achieve the look I wanted so when she was done it was NOWHERENEARWHAT I WANTED! And my bangs were cut so bad /short the«stylist» couldn’t even style them so she had to end up using bobby pins to pin my hair back! I paid($ 130) yes I tipped on top of that) the girl at the register promised me that the color would look different once I was outside in sunlight so I left when I got into my car I felt so ripped off! My bangs look like I let my daughter(almost two) cut my hair! Ridiculous! I was so upset I called the hair salon not even an hour after leaving the salon after having multiple family members tell me it looked like I didn’t even dye my hair at all and my cut was WAY uneven! They said the manager was not in and I would have to speak to him. They told me to call today at one and I did and he wasn’t there they told me he was going to give me a call back and around 4 o’clock I still had no call back so I decided to call them myself and he was very rude and unprofessional his name was MICHAEL! Pretty much said I was screwed and even if I do get a refund I would still have to go in and they would have to evaluate my hair! I paid cash that day so I figured i would have to go back anyway to get a refund! Well he ended up pretty much yelling at me(once again unprofessional). In anger he gave me corporates number! Not once did he mention trying to correct the error! So I called corporate and well I’m getting a refund in the mail! at least now I don’t have to go back to this unprofessional salon!

So, I’ve been here a few times to get my hair cut and a couple more for up-dos. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of my haircuts, I really loved they way they did these stunning up-dos. At least when getting haircuts, it drives me crazy that they ask if I want upgrades for nearly everything. Kind of ruins the relaxing nature of getting a haircut if someone is asking me if I’d like the deep conditioner for $ 3 more dollars. The other thing that I hate while booking an appointment is trying to figure out a stylist. They do a great job keeping track of the haircuts you’ve gotten in the past and who your stylist is. However, they classify each hairdresser at a different level. So, while a haircut with a stylist might run you $ 30 bucks the first time you see him or her, after a year or so, the price has also gone up substantially. Besides haircuts, I really love coming here to get my hair done for special occasions. Anytime I need an up-do, this ids definitely my go-to place. They’re very efficient and are always on-top of their game when you book an appointment ahead of time. Highly recommend it for getting hair styled. Also, I would recommend bringing a variety hair accessories and a picture of the dress you’re going to wear with you. They’ll do a great job tailoring everything to create a gorgeous cohesive look.

I’ve come to Visible Changes off and on for twenty years, since they were only in Houston. I like their business model, I like that stylists work their way up and I like that you can usually get a pretty good haircut even as a walk-in. I do not like that by the third haircut with the same stylist she has now become a Master Hoo Hah Director and haircuts with her are $ 74. Not worth it.

I came here on a whim when I decided to get a fresh new pixie cut after a few years of growing my hair out. I printed off a few pictures(1990s Winona Ryder is my cut of choice) and headed in. I ended up with the best pixie I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. Cori consistently referred to the photos to make sure things were coming along right, and periodically stopped to let me move my hair around and decide whether to take things shorter. This step-by-step approach was perfect. It kept me comfortable and feeling like she was working WITH me, not ON me. Finally, she reminded me of how to tousle and ruffle my hair to keep the cut looking fresh and young, not frumpy or matronly. She thinned my medium-thick hair just enough to fight the«poof factor,» as I call it, and handled the ears and nape of my neck in a way where they now draw attention to my cheekbones and lips. Wonderful, wonderful stylist for a pixie cut. If that’s your look of choice, choose Cori.

Ok, so if you go with a creative director then you will get a fabulous haircut, simple as that. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star is because this location is small and often pretty dirty(just in terms of lots of hair still on the floor).

If you want to add some volume don’t let Cori(Corrine) take care of you. She is a very nice girl but does not know how to tease hair. She didn’t use any hair spray? I thought that was common sense? I was better off just letting a friend who isn’t a stylist tease my hair. I guess that’s why she only charged me $ 5

I have been here for highlights and color treatments in the past… most of the stylists do a great job even with ethnic hair but it is a little bit of a high turnover with employees. I will say the salon has been around for years and years. I think if you are in need of a new place to get your hair done and you live in the area it’s worth checking out to find someone you really like. You will be in and out of there quickly and they can usually squeeze people in at the last minute. It is smack dab in the middle of the mall which can get a little crazy but overall this place is ok with me.

Cindy Johnson is the best! It really makes a difference on the level of the stylist. I first got a level 2 person and didn’t like the cut. This time I went to a style director and she was AMAZING. Cindy Johnson, she cut my hair just how I wanted. I will definitely be going back to her again.

I have been going to Cindy Johnson for the past 5 years and she completely destroyed my hair. I had to go to a different salon where I ultimately had to cut over 20inches off. I was devastated. She tried to fix it by re-processing my hair. She fried my hair so bad it turned grey and dingy. When I asked for the company to pay for the damages John, the manager, refused and said they wouldn’t be able to help me there. I have recommend many people to this salon but never again. Cindy Johnson is suppose to be a master colorist but I completely beg to differ. 5 years worth of growth gone because she said she could fix it and instead ruined my hair. I would not recommend her or visible changes ever again!

When I called to set an appointment we were quoted one price, when it was time to check out they tried to charge me more than 20% over what they quoted. Quality of cut was great but stylist don’t seem to keep up with current trends.

I’ve been coming here for the last two years and have been very pleased with the services I received. I had someone different each time yet experienced the same level of service every time — very professional, welcoming, and most importantly they do an amazing job listening to what you want. I highly recommend them. Great deal for the prices as well!

I found Visible Changes about 2 years ago when I was a Sports Clips kinda guy looking for a change. After a few searches I found out about Tiffany, and she’s been my stylist ever since. She’s always enthusiastic, hilarious and willing to help me discover a new hairstyle that works for me. You can tell she really has a passion for what she does, and is never pushy about services or products you don’t need, but she definitely helps you find any product that works for you. Don’t let the salon feel scare you off if you’re a barbershop kind of guy, most assuredly you’ll leave with a haircut that will garner multiple comments and approvals from the people you know. Ask for Tiffany, she’s amazing!

I had a great experience tonight! While my appointment was delayed an hour, the staff had a great attitude and wanted to be there. Note it is Easter weekend so of course the salon is going to be busy! Every staff member had a smile on their face, and didn’t seem phased that it was 8pm(who knows when their shift started). I was impressed I received a phone call before I left the house to notify me that they were running behind. Not only did the salon provide great service, my stylist Shelby did wonders for my hair! I didn’t go in with anything in mind– it was just time to clean up my ends– and she did exactly what I would have asked but better! Thank y’all for a great cut, I will definitely be back!

I have had some horrible experiences here along with some amazingly great ones. The best thing to do is to find a stylist who you are comfortable with and is knowledgable with your hair type! I’ve had some rookie stylists butcher my hair unbelievably. I’ve also experienced amazing haircuts which makes me want to continue my luck at this place.
