Established in 2012.

Tera’s Wax Bar is a part of Inbalance Skincare a beautiful spa located in Pleasant Hill. My name is Tera and I started the business because I have a strong passion and love for the industry. I studied Esthetics at Paris Beauty College and received my certification in 2005. I soon after became state licensed and was ready to begin my career that I love. Now that I have 7 years of experience in my field I am confident that I can provide nothing but the best to all of my clients, loyal or new.

My goal is to make every person that walks into Tera’s Wax Bar feel great about the service that was provided to them. From brow shaping, to bikini waxing, I aim to please each individual person as we all have individual needs. I use very high quality products that are suitable for those with sensitive skin. I offer full body waxing with an all natural wax that is virtually painfree. Happy Waxing!

TERA IS AMAZING! I’ve gotten waxed at many different places with many different people & i can confidently say that Teras technique is efficient and fast! She is awesome. She has made the scary idea of getting a Brazilian wax an easy and painless process. I would not go to anyone else and I would ONLY recommend her. She is also very reasonably priced and EXTREMELY sweet and fun to talk to!

Great service — she works very fast. I’ve had laser done already on the same area, so my wax was pretty painless. She uses the peel-​off wax which I like, and I also like that she uses a different wood stick every time she puts wax on you. So it isn’t contaiminating the wax. She also only focuses on waxing and doesn’t do any additional services — which means she is really skilled. Highly recommend!

I use Unilocal for pretty much everything I do… so it was no question to use it while trying to find a waxing specialist! I went this morning to get my eyebrows done and they came out great! Tera was so nice and easy to talk to while doing an excellent job on my brows. The wax she uses is way less painful than other places I have gone, and her space is very clean and welcoming. She also is super easy to get a hold of through text, which is always a plus. Thank you Tera!

Unilocal did NOT fail me once again! So So glad i found Tera. Went here for a Brazilian Wax and it came out great. The type of wax she uses was a first for me and I’m very thankful for it, probably one of the Least painful waxes i have ever had. I will deff be a regular here. her pricing is completely reasonable compared to all the places in Walnut Creek.

Tera is a waxing ninja. Brazilian waxing is quick and painless as possible (relative to the many other waxing studios). Studio is clean, quiet, private, has lots of parking, and has an easy-​to-​use scheduling system. Her prices are very reasonable. Love the post wax serum she uses. Moreover, no weird gymnastic poses required.

I highly recommend Tera. The wax she uses seriously hurts the LEAST of the other places I have tried. She is also really nice and easy to talk to. Her studio is very clean and calming. Making an appointment and re-​booking with her is so easy because she is also very tech savvy, so no need to call in! Also, her pricing is very reasonable!

I had my very first waxing today. :) I found Tera on Unilocal and was impressed by all the excellent reviews so I scheduled my appointment.
We had it scheduled for 5pm but she text me to let me know she could fit me in earlier! I was stoked!
I was a half an hour late because of unfortunate circumstances and I couldn’t call. She was SO nice! She took me right away and didn’t give me any negativity about being late.
She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, we chatted in a way that didn’t feel forced like hair stylists often do. I am so impressed by Tera!

Impressed!!! Tera did a great job I can see why she is one super busy lady. Make your future appointments in advance because she is often booked. I have had many Brazilian waxes over the years and different waxes and techniques. I like the product she uses and her technique.

Yay! thats all i can say after coming here.
I came here as a first timer, not having been wax down there before. I was greeted by Tera who was very welcoming. She asked if i have done this before and educated me on what she will be doing and the things i should and shouldn’t do. I felt relaxed well i wasn’t scared anymore. It was not as painful as i thought it would be. definitely coming back! thanks Tera!
