Honestly so unimpressed. My friend and I were craving an Oreo milkshake, so my friend drove 2 miles to this sad place. First of all, the small size for a milkshake was $ 6.30. So expensive! I should have left for somewhere else by then. But I thought, hey, maybe this milkshake will be high quality for its high price. And then I drank the milkshake. I am not even exaggerating when I say that it tasted like milky ice chunks. I could not taste the Oreo at all. There was too much milk, ice bits leftover, and blended for too long. I’ll just stick with the normal ice cream next time.

This place closes early to ‘defrost ice cream…’ What a response! These young girls don’t know enough to stay open on a hot day– too bad they have other things to do instead of selling ice cream!

Worse Baskin Robins in the area. I ordered a three scoops sundae and it only filled ½ a cup. It looked like 1 ½ scoops. Check out photo of the sundae. Terrible !!!

We used to be frequent customers but recently they have reduced their one scoop size to kids scoop. It’s very unfortunate that companies do this for more profits.

I wish I had taken a picture. I ordered the smallest 3 scoop sundae in the world. It looked like 3 bon bons with whipped cream on it. I told the girl who made it that it looked awful and she replied «that’s the way they want it made.» I went outside and was almost to the car when I turned back. It was that bad. I had to get a refund. I couldn’t see paying for something that l could have eaten with 2 bites. Place is a joke and way over priced for what you get.

I frequent this location because the teenagers are so Friendly and Cheerful. I can’t say the same about the owner, who enjoys chastising the workers in front of customers. Every time that I visit this location and the owner is there, she makes it a point to be MEAN to the workers. Grumpy is not the word. In an ice cream polar, you expect happiness, but not her. She never speaks to the customers, she just walks around with her made face on telling them what they did wrong. Nevertheless, I decided to give this location one more try, especially since it was $ 1.31 per scoop day. I normally get several different flavors as a treat for me throughout the week. So, I proceeded to get my scoops and immediately, the owner came over and told the girl not to fill up the scoops. I didn’t want to make a fuss, because I wasn’t feeling to good and had drug myself out of the house just for this occasion. So the normal 4oz scooop was reduced down to a measly kiddie scoop. I was SO disappointed, especially when I got home and examined my individual cups. I will not be going back to this location again. Even if it means that I must drive further. How can we keep the $$ in our community when the Owners have terrible customer services. You expect to learn from your elders, I hop these teenagers don’t pick up this bad disposition.

Service was fine, ice cream tasted fine.
Two stars for being expensive. I didn’t check prices while ordering, but driving away I felt I may have been overcharged.
Not a good value, luckily just a random stop for ice cream, won’t be returning.

Do I really have to give this place a minimum of 1 star? They don’t even deserve that! I had the worst experience ordering an ice cream cake here. First off, I’m not sure if the older woman is the franchise owner or someone who just isn’t happy working inside of a Baskin Robbins.
We went in on a Sunday to view the cakes and place an order. Before I could even get to the counter, the older woman says «Are you ordering a cake?» My response was yes, so she proceeded to say, well you need to pay $ 6.50 for a rush service. My husband and I looked at each other and said okaayyyy… not a problem. She then took our order and said, okay, now I need your money. The correct response should have been, is there anything else I can get you? I proceeded to ask her… is it okay if we buy some scoops of ice-​cream? She ended up serving us our ice cream and we were done with her… however, the story continues.
The next day, we were around the area and popped in (before our scheduled time of cake pick up) just to see if the cake was ready and to get a scoop for our son, who was celebrating his 6^th Birthday. We were told the cake was not ready. I said, no worries, we were just checking because we were in the area. We mentioned it was our son’s 6^th birthday and had ordered a cake. We also mentioned the free scoop, but before we could say anything further, Stephanie said ‘we can’t help you. you have to print the coupon’. Okay, well never mind, just crush my son’s hope of a free scoop.
So, the story gets better. We had an extreme heat wave in the area and lots of homes and businesses lost power. I received a call from ‘Stephanie’ @6:24pm stating that they lost power and I needed to come get my cake at 7pm. My family and I quickly wrapped up dinner and got there as soon as we could to see a sign that said «Temporarily Closed». I called the next few hours but there was no answer.
So today, my husband called to see how this would be handled. Since it was closed, we couldn’t pick up the cake for his birthday. «Stephanie» was EXTREMELY rude and said there was nothing they could do. She stated she called us several of times and that they had offered to drive the cake to us. This was a blatant lie, due to the fact that I still had the call and message log on my cell phone and it showed 1! call. She didn’t offer a credit, or apologize in any way shape or form. Her attitude was basically ‘too bad’. I asked to speak to a manager and she addressed herself as ‘the manager’. It would be hard to believe that the franchise owner would consider putting someone in this type of leadership role with such poor customer service skills. I then asked for the Franchise owners name and number, which she stated, this is the only number. I then asked if she could provide Baskin Robbins’ Corporate headquarters number. She proceeded to argue and say, you can call, but it will just get routed back to me. At this point, I was done dealing with her and said, no worries, I will dispute my CC charge and since YOU are the manager, you can deal with that.
I was so disgusted that someone would talk to a customer in this manner.
Long story short, I got a hold of the Corp # and spoke to a representative by the name of Brittany.
She was fabulous and patched my message through to Hussein who is the Regional District Manager who oversees the franchises. He called and took care of the situation the same night.
The next day, ‘Stephanie’ called me and said I could come in and get a refund at any time.
Needless to say, I will NOT be dealing with her at all. I highly recommend she take some classes in Customer Service or pick up the book «Customer Service for Dummies» at the local Barnes and Noble. Another option is that she find another job because retail/​customer service is NOT her area of expertise.

As everybody else mentioned, the service here was horrible and offer, though hanging right from the roof was not honored.
1. Misleading advertising — «buy 2 or more scoops get A Fresh-​baked waffle cone free» ad hanging from the ceiling — however lady behind the counter informs its not for waffle cones with chocolate (though no message excluding it). I ask my daughter to pick another scoop and asked the lady for a plain waffle cone — the lady again repeats — that offer is for a double scoop. I asked her to see the ad that it does not mention double but 2 scoops. The lady said she cant help it as it is company ad and has been told to offer free waffle only for a double scoop not two scoops. This construes to misleading advertising.
2. Very rude behavior by another old lady and her younger employee — noticed that others have a similar experience when I came her to post.
Should have checked Unilocal before coming here. I will need to file a formal complaint to the corporate office.

My family has had bad experiences at this Baskin Robbins in the past, but hadn’t been there for a while, so we thought we’d give them another try…big mistake. The charge more the Dublin or Danville BRs, and are so skimpy on the size of their scoops. The young people that work there are OK, but the manager is downright rude. We will never go back to Pleasanton BRs.

Yummy ice cream, and an experience not as bad as others have written about. The Wife was handed her cone with a chunk of Gold Medal Ribbon dangling from it, which then dropped onto her wallet, and she held her hand there waiting a minute for someone to notice and hand her a napkin, which they did. Not a biggie. They price was not unreasonable for the scoop size. It’ll do.

Classic generic to ice cream parlor. It does get busy as the night goes on. It looks a lot like all of Pleasanton lets the teenagers scoop the ice cream and that’s a good thing. It’s a little expensive but hey it’s Pleasanton

This is probably WORST Baskin Robbins. 1. ice cream is semi melted in freezers. 2. Service is horrible 3. Portions are so small i feel cheated every time. Wish there was new ownership!

Helpful with an ice cream cake when I was in a time crunch.
I only had a few minutes to pick up an ice cream cake, the shop was busy with other customers — but the customer service was terrific. I had a personal message written on my cake & was out the door quickly. The cake was devoured by my co-​workers — huge hit. Golden Ribbin ice cream with chocolate cake — very cute decorations with mini ice cream cones on top — each mini-​ice cream cone had a different flavor. Too precious.

The sales girl was very pleasant and courteous when helping us, and even wished us a good night as we were leaving after we had eaten.
The flavor selection is great, but then, it’s Baskin Robbins, so of course it’s great! Takes me back to being a kid again!

If I could give a ½ star I’d actually rate them a 2.5…just as they appear on Unilocal!
While the quality of their products are just as good as any other BR’s I’ve ever been too the service is just poor.
I ordered an ice cream cake for my sons bday last year. Everything looked great until we cut it open and our mint chip ice cream was actually cookies and cream. While not the biggest deal in the world it was quite a bummer to see my son pass on his own cake because it wasn’t what he wanted. Based on that and the fact I had the box which said mint BUT wasn’t they gave me a discount on my next cake.
While almost a year later I’m back ordering a cake for my daughters bday. I made sure to stress the error they made last year as there is no way for me to double check until we cut it. Feeling like I got my point across I paid for the cake and went on my way. When we arrive on Saturday to pick up the cake it was nowhere to be found. They gal behind the counter said it wouldn’t be ready until 6PM. Seeing how the party was at 1:00 this was a bit of a problem. The gal proceeded to show me the order slip and said where pick up on Friday had been circled then crossed off and said see. To which I replied while it appears someone made a change.
«Well it wasn’t me sir» was the response I got… lol. Fair enough, I said. After asking how she was going to resolve this she said «while I can’t just make a cake appear». No problem I said. Y’all have two choices get me my cake or I’ll just take whatever I decide is appropriate from your fridge.
End result, they delivered the cake I ordered to our party by 1:00. Of course no further discount has offered but it’s probably for the best. Won’t go back to this Baskin Robins ever again!!!

Me: Hello, I would like to order two ice cream pies for tomorrow at 2pm.
BR Clerk: Um, sorry, but it is 3pm, and we need 24 hours to make an ice cream pie.
Me: But, this would be 23 hours, can you make an exception?
BR Clerk: Um, no. It’s in our policy. See, it’s posted on the wall.
Me: Wow, can’t you make an exception?
BR Clerk: Um, no.
Me: Gosh, can I speak with your manager to see if he/​she might make an exception?
BR Clerk: I AM the manager.
Yep, this is the kind of service you get at this place. I’ve grown up going to BR, and it is an American institution. Unfortunately, the staff doesn’t believe in the American philosophy of thinking for yourself, being creative, push the envelop, provide superior service, make the customer happy, etc. They lost $ 50 worth of sales from us because of one hour.
We won’t be going back.

I love Baskin Robbin’s Ice cream. The formula is great!
The problem here is the Santa Rita location…
They have the WORST service ever. Where is the owners and staffs customer skills? I have maybe had one staff member be nice to me. Everyone usually has a bad attitude and just doesnt seem to want to help customers. Besides the price being a turn off the lack of customer service just sucks.
It’s really unfortunate that this is the only location in Pleasanton. I hope the owners sell to someone else who is kind and upbeat ASAP.

Got here just before closing (actually a few minutes after) but the guys behind the counter was cool and greeted us with a smile as it was opening hour. Got our Ice Cream to go and was pleased (well having ice cream in front of you who wouldn’t be)
Now i know where to get my 31 flavor fix when in Dublin/​Pleasanton.
