The associate seemed very friendly when I walked in but wasn’t very knowlegdeable when I started asking about their products. I don’t know much about straightening irons so I asked for a recommendation within my price point and she pointed at the one closest to my budget. I asked whether she thought it was a good brand and product to go with and she didn’t really answer my question. All of the straighteners that were higher quality exceeded $ 100 and I wasn’t comfortable spending that much so I went with a $ 60 iron. After the associate already had my credit card she told me it was final sale with a one year warranty. I didn’t like this tactic because I felt weird asking for my credit card back so it was kinda like I got pressured into a final sale. I would have rather gone to Sally’s Beauty where the associates are well versed on their products and the pricing is better. Anyway, now I know to never come back here again!

Spiker glue re-cop. Review for the hair-supply portion, they pretty much have everything and the service is good. Can’t get anything for clippers like u can at Sally’s, but then again I am not sure the clientele calls for it much

I used to go to this salon and get my hair done by Armen. I stopped seeing him because he was constantly hitting on me, even inviting me to his house for a massage! Putting up with him was definitely not worth it. However, I kept on frequenting the store for products after I stopped seeing Armen, because they have a nice selection and good prices. Too bad the entire time I shop the store I’m followed around like a thief, and although some of the associates are friendly, the older manager lady is really grumpy and snappy towards customers. Anyway, they get the low rating from me because of a horrible experience I had where I was accused of lying and stealing by the grumpy manager when I had to make a return, and now I never shop there. Ever. Trade Secrets has the same brands, same prices, and better service.

I was in dire need of a trim… while at the mall I figured I can check out the salon in the back of the beauty store since they take walk-ins. I also assumed it wouldn’t cost too much. My assumption was wrong. I ended up paying $ 55 for my haircut. But service was suburb. Armen was my stylist and he took real good care of me. Like a professional stylist, he sat me down at his chair, asked me what I wanted, then shampooed my hair with a nice head massage then proceeded to cut my hair and even blow dried an straightened it :) It was a nice experience to have someone listen to you and actually cut your hair the way you asked. I may come back for color. Apparently that is what Armen specializes in. Don’t underestimate the hole in the wall salons!
