Jerry Wang DDS

Dr. Wang is the BEST! He has removed 2 of my 3 kids wisdom teeth, this can be a horrible experience for many, BUT Dr. Wang and his Team made the procedure go so smooth! Both of the kids were in and out in about an hour (all 4 for both kids w/​anesthesia) Both healed quickly and had no issues.
The 3^rd kid goes in at the end of January… expecting another smooth removal from Dr. Wang!

RUDE… rude…rude… unprofessional all the staff and the doctor. that’s all I can say.

I was referred to Dr. Wang by my dentist. I had a painless vertical fracture on a tooth that was creating an infection. I could schedule an appointment very quickly and after filling up their forms on their website I was ready to go. Once there I Had a 360 X-​Ray taken and after few minutes I was talking with the doctor. He asked me if I wanted to have the tooth extracted right away and I wasn’t really prepared for that (I was there just for a consultation). After thinking about it for few minutes I decided to do it.
The operation didn’t take long and it wasn’t painful even if I really didn’t like all the pulling required to do it. After the extraction the doctor explained to me what to do next at home and gave me some pain killers; he also called me few hours later to see how was I doing.
I hope I won’t need any extraction in the future (painful recovery) but if it happens I’m sure I’ll come back to Dr. Wang.

I’m in my thirties and never had my wisdom teeth removed, then one broke and got infected so I had to have it removed somehow. Although ideally I wanted all four removed at once, I didn’t have a lot of money and this was an emergency. I went to Dr. Wang’s office, delightfully decorated with bobbleheads and autographed photos of celebrities. They couldn’t fit me in on the same day, but that’s ok — when my appointment arrived, I was in and out painlessly in less than thirty minutes. It was SO quick and painless I wish I could afford to have him yank ALL my wisdom teeth out! When then time comes though, Dr. Wang is who I’ll visit!

Wonderful, Doctor, such an efficient, caring staff. I’m so, so thankful I was referred to this Surgeon! I am so thankful that he took care of me. My tooth that had been aching and hurting me for almost five weeks, and through TWO root canal procedures, was removed by this wonderful efficient oral surgeon. Dr. Wang was finished with the procedure before any pain or discomfort was even registered by me, and I am so thankful!

The front desk staff members were very pleasant and welcoming upon our arrival. The assistant was prompt and made the visit incredibly comfortable for my fiancé. The doctor was funny and extremely talented. But what I loved most is that the surgeon is extremely professional and ethical in not rushing into the next phase of the treatment. His focus was to make sure the procedures are done as perfectly as can be and wanted to allow enough time for healing before moving on to the next step. I would trust him for all of our families’ oral surgery/​implant needs.

My son had four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Wang. The experience was beyond our expectations. The operation only took 30 minutes and it was healed in two weeks. My son gives a thumbs up for Dr. Wang. The OSAs Breanna and Breanne (yes, those are their names) are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang to my friends.

Past the US Post Office, you’ll find Dr. Jerry Wang’s office. I’ve posted a helpful photo of what building sign to look for. I found this place with ease and parked.
Checked in, with the staff. Told them I filled all the required forms online, and watched their video already. While waiting, I was pretty distracted with all the cool autographed décor all around. Definitely interesting and unique! As was the ice cream cart. I didn’t notice the massage chair until after they allowed me in.
So, they took a 360 X-​ray exam of my teeth; Then I sat in another room to watch the same video that was online. While relaxing in the massage chair, I Unilocaled a few more pics. They turned off the video because I had already seen it. In comes Dr. Wang. He addresses me about the procedure and risks involved in doing the removal. My wisdom teeth sat on top of my nerve, so it’s not so bothersome. He seemed honest, showed me where my teeth and nerve sit, and really left the decision up to me if I wanted the surgery done or not. I opted out, and said thank you! I’ve got no complaints about Dr Wang’s professionalism or his staff. They were funny and helpful.

These guys are awesome. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The nurses knew exactly how my wife would react to the anesthesia and Dr. Wang filled me in on her aftercare. I watched what i would assume was the same orientation video to let me know what to expect, but having my wisdom teeth out a decade ago i kind of knew what to do.
First visit (consultation) was a breeze. Read a review of a person being scared out of a surgery because the Dr. INFORMED them of the possible complication with the procedure. I for one PREFER the Dr. to be completely up front so my wife and I can make an informed decision.
Second visit (extraction) was quicker than the first LOL. The nurse approached me after my wife went into the operating room. Asked me if she was nervous and over thinks things. I answered and she helped me by telling me EXACTLY what to expect as she came out of the anesthesia. At this point i watched the video in the massage chair (cool chair btw, spent more time messing with the chair than watching the video). After the video the surgery was done and Dr. Wang explained to me the aftercare and what to expect. I went into the operating room and helped my wife to her feet and helped her to the car.
Cant say enough good things about this guy. Will definitely refer others to you. Thank you.

Dr. Wang is hands down the best dentist/​Dr I’ve had. I got all my four wisdom teeth taken out. I was not harmed, I felt great. It was great, and I know from my friends’ experience that this procedure can be pretty painful. I didn’t even take pain medication. If you need wisdom teeth extraction just go there.

Talk about the passion, mastery and professionalism! Dr. Jerry Wang is all those three descriptions! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Very clean and techy dental office, Fast sign up, Fast check-​in, fast surgery! I was well informed about the surgery that I will undergo including the side effects and risks through a flat screen TV in a private room with a massage chair and through Dr. Wang himself! I appreciate the fact that I was well informed of the risks because as a patient it is our right to know the risks. I already believed in this doctor before I went to visit him. 2 of my dentists referred me to him in the Tri-​Valley so I said to myself he should be great enough because of all the recommendations. Third molar surgery lasted for 4 minutes that fast! Which obviously proves that he is such a pro and definitely knows what he’s doing! Good job Dr. Jerry Wang!

I will say I had the best dental visit yesterday from every detail. Warm, clean, professional, efficient. It seemed so easy for Dr Wang remove my last wisdom tooth that made me nervous for the last ten years. I was freaked out before the surgery thinking of my coworker and my bad experiences. It was silly.
I DIDN’T FEEL ANYTHING! My face didn’t get swollen !

My dentist referred me to this dr for a TMJ evaluation. He didn’t seem to really care and I felt like he was irritated with me being there, I could feel like the TMJ was not his field and he didn’t really want to deal with it. He gave me a sheet of exercises to do at home, same think I had been given before, so nothing new there and ended up giving me no hopes by saying that anything other than exercises will do more harm than good. In other words, I’m stuck with that pain.
I was amazed when I saw reviews saying how caring this dentist was… I felt like an inconvenience and not a patient. My dentist wanted him to check for me for future implants as well since she is going to put invisalign on me to try to help correct my bite, at least she is trying to help me with my TMJ. Dr Wang responded that we could check on the implants (I have some bone loss this is why my dentist wanted him to check first) after the invisalign treatment. I will NOT go to this dr to have anything done EVER.
Oh, and my bill was $ 130…not covered because when I sent in my insurance, they did not tell me they did not take that one, so waste on my time and money :-(

I was really nervous about having my wisdom teeth removed, but I have to say, the experience wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Dr. Wang’s staff members are awesome and they put me at ease. Dr. Wang is pretty serious, but he was very professional. I went in for my oral surgery, I had the anesthesia and woke up a bit later, with the whole procedure done. I was really nervous pre-​extraction, but I didn’t feel anything thankfully!

My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Wang because of a TMJ issue I’ve been having over the last few years. The office staff was VERY VERY nice and helpful about helping me to schedule an appointment and got me in pretty quick. Apparently my dentist only passed along my insurance information and did not really tell Dr. Wang’s staff why they were seeing me. So, I felt pretty stupid being there and them not knowing why they were seeing me (Not Dr. Wang’s office’s fault though).
However, he did seem a little irritated by that and was somewhat conescending toward me when I had to explain to him myself why I was there. It honestly made me feel pretty stupid and I left there still feeling stupid. However, he did show me some really good excercises I can do to alleviate some of my TMJ issues and hopefully in the long run improve my pain. They took x-​rays too, which I am really upset about because he didn’t look at them, and I did not need them… So, I’m sure that will be a lovely bill for me. I would say my experience here was ⁵⁰⁄₅₀. I was seen right away, his staff was very nice, and his office was cool. However, he made me feel stupid and they took unnecessary x-​rays that I am pissed about because I know I will get a horrible bill for them.

The reception staff was very friendly when I booked my appointment, other than that I am disappointed with my consultation. Which consisted of me sitting in a massage chair watching a dvd video of what complications there could be with removing my four impacted wisdom teeth.
Once the videos were over Dr Wang came in and spoke to me a little bit about my xrays and scared me to the point where I did not want to remove the teeth. It is lucky that I got a second opinion because it turns out that two out of my four teeth that needed to be removed were infected.
I understand that there are risks of complications to any type of surgery but as a doctor you should not scare your patient out of a surgery. Dr Wang told me that if he was to remove my two lower wisdom teeth that were impacted, there would possibly be nerve damage and would cause my chin and/​or lower lip to be numb (temporarily or even permanately).
Well I got all FOUR of my impacted wisdom teeth removed from another surgeon and there were no side effects. I am sure that if Dr Wang assured me that the risk of having any type of nerve damage was minimal, then I would have had him perform the surgery, but he did not.
Now I just got a bill for his consulatation for $ 92.00, and for what? Watching a DVD, sitting in a massage chair, and being scared out of a surgery that turns out I needed. So disappointed!
If it were not for the reception staff this place would have gotten 1 star.

I had a tooth extracted from a bad infection. His assistant is wonderful. I liked her the most. She made you feel at ease and comfortable and was friendly and polite. Dr. Wang is quick and to the point. I was done in 30 minutes and that includes the time I sat waiting for the left side of my face to go numb. The place has a lot of nice decoration and celebrity autographs and pictures. Fill out the paperwork online before you get to your appointment.

Quick and to the point. His assistants and receptionists are playful and fun. Had 3 wisdom teeth plucked out in less than 20 minutes. Great experience! Thanks Jerry!
