the bacon burgers are delicious. My server Meredith was extremely nice and sweet. Definitely coming back!

Took 30min to cook scrambled eggs and we were the only ones in there. Prices are a little high compared to other nearby places. Food is okay at best.

Just gross. Mac and cheese was clearly not fresh, turkey burger was rubber and the fruit salad was warm. To make it worse, the bathrooms were out of soap and our waitress was in there. Hmmm how did she wash?

My wife and myself had lunch on the deck. Server christina was pleasant and good server. I had lobster bisque soup and fish and chips. Really good food. My wife loved the lobster roll. The best part of lunch was the deck. Nice breeze and view. Menus was reasonably priced and had adequate variety.

Can I give it negative stars? The name of this diner is now vicini di mare. So it’s the wife my two kids and I. We just left jenkinsons and the kids wanted to eat, so we see this diner. OMG, reheated mac and cheese, coagulated milk chunks, I ordered a grilled chicken salad (chopped up pieces of toast as croutons) horrible wilted lettuce, my wife gets crab cakes… I know I know ! who does that ?! But let’s just say the closest those cakes came near crabs, well no need for vulgarity. No exaggeration one of the worst meals I have ever had. Oh by the way it took like 20 minutes for the meal to come out. The waitress says sorry we were caught off guard, there were about to three other tables by the way. So I implore you if you value your intestinal lining and your hard earned money and steer clear of this place… horrific !!

Food is okay but there are so many better option like Mcdonalds. Service was poor and slow. I would not recommend eating here unless you’re drunk.

This place is passable for a diner, but in the great state of NJ there are so many better options.

It covers the basics, but the food falls seriously short. Service and ambience was typical. We went here because it was a frigid night and we didn’t want to go too far for some hot food. I got a diner staple, broiled chop steak with a veggie and potato. Everything was just shy of good: under seasoned food, greasy chop steak, underfried fries. Point Beach Diner will fulfill that diner craving, but if you’re up for driving 10 more minutes there’s a better diner experience waiting.

No No No don’t Go!
Stale toast, old bacon no flavor at all in the home fries.
This is at 7AM too. If you just opened for the day why is all the food old?
Gross!

Place was a bit disorganized. They seem understaffed as well. No private parking. As for the food, it was good. My pork roll wrap was very enjoyable although the home fries I had were a little bland. My wife’s Greek salad barely had any olives.

This diner is a great find on the Jersey shore. I arrived with my large family and although we are seated immediately found that the kitchen was quite backed up. I ordered the Silverdollar banana pancakes. The short stack is plenty for one person if not 2 people. (The silver dollar pancakes on the way to go because they’re more manageable to eat)
As a foodie I highly recommend the sausage there something about it that makes them really good. My kids and husband all love the breakfast burritos especially the one with Taylor ham.
Although the kitchen was backed up the service was happy and friendly.

I went to a breakfast here and the portions are big and the food is good, our waitress was kind of bland though

The kids and I had a nice brunch. I ordered them food from the kids menu. They each received one scrambled egg one bacon and a half waffle. I had two cups if coffee. I ordered a side of bacon which was 2.50. My kids love bacon so an extra order is a must. The total bill came to 12.85 Great!!! The kids ate most of their plate. the only thing that was wrong was our waitress. she was pleasant but forgot our forks napkins and other essential things you need to eat. she didn’t even bother coming back till the very end to see how I’m you was or if we need anything. I had to flag down another waitress to get our forks napkins and another cup of coffee.
besides the waitress everything else was great.
said was good and reasonably priced they also have specials. oh yeah that’s right our waitress didn’t know the specials she told me I had to get up and go inside to read the menu. oh yes by the way my kids and I were eating breakfast outside. I was like get up with two children go inside and read the menu you are you crazy??? like aren’t you a waitress shouldn’t you know the daily specials???
The reason I gave this place 4 stars is because of the good food, the affordability, and the location. I didn’t let one not so good waitress ruin my review. She could have been new, or having an off morning…

Having grown up in Jersey, I’m a big fan of diners; this one certainly was a worthwhile visit!
The food was tasty ‘Diner Fare’ and my neices and I enjoyed each bite. The gal behind the counter was fun, friendly, and happy to converse each time we engaged her in the pratter of our light hearted teasing.
The restaurant was clean, the menu selections were quite diverse, and (according to my nieces) the hot chocolate is «Awesome».

Ate here 2 days in a row since it was close to my hotel. Day 1 I received horrible service. Waitresses moved around quickly while customers seemed to have waited long periods of time. Once you received your food no one ever checked on you. Day 2 was a different experience. The waitress was amazing. She was tentative & very personable. I guess I’m stuck in the middle. Good breakfast but service is hit or miss.

Went to dinner again, their Chicken Francaise is amazing and delicious! I had the mussels for the first time and they were awesome! This place is a 10.

A surprise happens as soon as you walk into the «dinner» side of this restaurant. The service and food quality are there amongst the best. I had seafood house special that was delicious.

A welcome surprise from the time you walk into the «dinner» part of the restaurant until it’s time to go. The food and service are top notch. The seafood was fresh, well prepared and plentiful. You will leave with a smile on your face.

Ordered Seafood fra Diavlo. Although it wasnt as hot as I had expected, the seafood was cooked to perfection. The scallops were especially tender n juicy. Huge portions.
My friend ordered the chilean sea bass which was cooked in butter-​garlic. Each bite of it just melted in your mouth.

Just checked out this new italian dining room, and I must say how impressed I was. Not only was the food fantastic, the service was outstanding as well., I Was shocked how reasonable the prices are considering the dishes. I was almost expecting an average meal for those pricies, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a scallop dish that was so fresh and flavorful, and my husband had a veal dish that was cooked to perfection. We shared 2 appetizers as well that were also rated at 5 stars by both of us. this is a byo and no corking fees. Needless to say, I am highly recommending Vicino Di MAre to all…
