I Need A Clean

This is the worst cleaning service I have ever used. They were supposed to arrive between 8 am and 10 am and no one ever showed. After trying to reach them all morning I finally received a phone call that they would have to reschedule because there was a personnel issue. I rescheduled for the next day and the cleaner was late and really did not do a good job. I had hours left over so I decided to give them another chance. They were supposed to arrive yesterday between the hours of 10 and 12 and again, a no show. No phone call, nothing. I am trying to contact the company for a partial refund. I don’t want these people at my house again.
If I could give them negative stars I would.

SCAM! I scheduled with this company, pre-​paid and they never showed up. They will not answer there phone and after leaving messages they have not returned my phone calls or emails.

I would give no stars! Reading these other reviews is shocking to me because I had the same experience! SCAMMED out of my money! No one ever showed up and they wouldn’t pick up the phone when I called to find out what was going on! Thankfully my credit card refunded my money! Not worth the hassle, say far away from this company!

Thank you guys so much for scamming us, taking our money, and not answering our calls now… Your customer avoidance services are outstanding! I wish I could get a chance to experience your «great» cleaning services as reported by the other «real people» on your pages, but nobody ever showed up! I spoke with somebody on July 30 scheduling cleaning for tomorrow morning 18 August between nine and 12. I never received a confirmation email yet you immediately took money off of my credit card and when I called today and left a message before 8 AM trying to get confirmation for tomorrow it took 12 hours for someone to get back to me telling me I didn’t have an appointment for tomorrow. Yes I did have appointment for tomorrow and again one for the 25^th that was supposedly made for me both of which I paid for The extra driving. I think that’s crappy business I planned on cleaning tomorrow yet no one is coming I spoke with Linda who rescheduled it for the 25^th and said she would get an email within half an hour to me. I have yet to receive an email. I would like to know what you’re going to do to compensate me for the inconvenience.

TOTAL SCAM! Someone should tell LivingSocial not to do business with these jerks! I didnt buy the Living Social coupon, but instead paid directly for a 3 hour deep cleaning and paid extra to rush the job within the next 3 days. 3 days came and went, no call. I FINALLY got in touch with someone and they said they would call me back. Another day goes by… nothing! I just called my credit card to dispute the charge. Look at the reviews; no one is showing up and it is just a major scam. I bet they got a lot of suckers like me through the Livingsocial deal. At least if you go through Livingsocial it is easier to get your refund than what I have to do! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM

I also hired this company to clean my home after waiting 4 ½ hours. I got a call saying «my bad I couldn’t find a babysitter, I got one for later ya still want me in like a few hrs? I can bring a friend» Um… hell no. Got charged for an upgrade. fighting to get my $$$$ back, No one answers when you call

I bought a living social and scheduled a clean. I called the day before to confirm. They never showed. They rescheduled and again never showed up and won’t answer the phone. They did charge my credit card company for extra miles. I will be disputing that. It makes me wonder how Living Social checks their companies!

Terrible! Did not show up. I waited for 2 days. I called after the first day and they assured me that someone would show up. Horrible customer service. Do not use. I bought on living social. Shame on them. I will dispute this but what a waste of time.

DO NOT USE! They took my $ 241 for an 8 hour clean in Houston — it turns out that they don’t have any cleaners in Houston! They were trying to send ONE cleaner for the 8 hr ‘extreme’ clean from Austin… a 4 hour drive away. Do not pay up front — good luck getting a refund! BBB rated them an F! I had to turn around and pay another service to come the next day, which also meant I had to pay more because of the short notice fee. Learn from my mistake — find someone else.

If I could give them NEGATIVE TEN stars, I would. We got a coupon off of groupon for these people. My boyfriend scheduled for four hours of deep cleaning with two people. They let him know the timing would be from 1 – 4 on a Saturday, however I called them the Wednesday before to change the time to the morning, which was 7 – 10 am. Once 10:30 rolled around, I called the company, which was some crap music at the beginning and three options. I tried every single option, which just sent me to voicemail. Finally, around noon, they answered. He said the timing was from 1 – 4, and denied any record of my call from earlier in the week. Finally, once 4:30 rolled around, with NO call and NO cleaners, we called back. He said he would call the cleaners and call me. After 20 minutes of no returned phone call, I called them AGAIN. He then said that they could not fulfill my order today. AFTER sitting around ALL DAY on a Saturday waiting for them. I was furious. He offered two free hours of cleaning, and we decided to reschedule. On work on Monday, I was telling my co worker the story, and she said the same thing happened to her, however they no showed on them FOUR times.
These people are criminals and should be sued for fraud. Ridiculous and total joke. Learn better business. We have YET to get our money back. I WILL be contacting the better business bureau.

FRAUD. I’m in Oakland, CA, so I didn’t find these reviews until now. Paid them over the phone, and they never showed up. I confirmed the day before. I also called the morning the cleaning was scheduled, since they were late. Said they were an hour away. Never showed up. They say it’ll take two weeks to get a refund. I’ll believe it when I see it. I filed a dispute with the bank, and i be filing fraud reports, too.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR CLEANING! If I could give this company zero stars, I would. Sadly, I had terrible service from beginning to end with I Need A Clean. I made an appointment 6 weeks in advance of a party I was having at my house to ensure I would not have to worry about a clean house. It was critical my home be clean for this event. Here are some of the issues I had.
(1) Booking — I was told I would have 2 cleaners come to my home between 8am — 10am and work for 4 hours (providing a total of 8 hours of service). However, when the week of the cleaning came, I had not received a confirmation. I called 3 days in advance to confirm, when I was told I would be called back. After no call back, I called the next day as well, when I was also told I would get a call back. The day before the cleaning, they attempted to tell me they would call me back but I insisted I get verification that my clean was set. I was told they would be there.
(2) Timeliness — The cleaner did not actually arrive until an hour late, and was solo, instead of with a partner. Due to the timing of the evening events, I only had until 2pm before I needed to leave the home and was not going to allow a stranger in my home alone, which only allowed for 3 total cleaning hours.
(3) Communication — Despite calling multiple times, I was never called back. Even when I was told that my appointment was confirmed, it did not get delivered as promised. It surprises me that 6 weeks notice is not sufficient time to ensure services are delivered appropriately.
(4) Dishonesty — Depending on who I spoke with, I got different stories about what went wrong with the schedule. At first, I was told it was my fault for not paying the transportation fee, despite the fact that I provided my credit card information at booking. Then I was told they had a team scheduled to perform the services and they quit the week before, so they had to back fill on short notice. Then I was later told the individual who performed my 3 hours of cleaning had been identified at the time of booking, even though that person told me when he arrived that he did not get the call to come to my home until that morning. He also noted that several of the cleanings he performs have had similar issues with the company re: bookings, schedules, poor customer service, etc (this is a person who works for them, saying that he is sorry the company is so terrible!).
(5) Poor quality cleaning service — There is no way my home was going to be clean in 3 hours, but even the cleaning which was done was done with poor quality. Somehow the TV that I had professionally mounted on the call was crooked, the cover of my 110 year of historic fireplace had been dropped on the floor, and there was pools of water all over the floor in various places after he left.
(6) CUSTOMER SERVICE — This is by far the worst aspect of this company. Clearly I had issues with the way things unfolded, and did not have a clean home for my party. The manager I spoke with was completely ignorant to the fact that his team did anything wrong. He was not sympathetic and only offered to come and finish the clean on a different day… which is not the point… the point is that the poor planning and execution from his team is the reason I was robbed of the enjoyment of a clean home for my event. He told me this was my fault because I had to have the cleaning done by 2pm despite the fact that his team confirmed that they could and would meet my timing needs. If there was going to be some reason this might not happen, I should have been at least warned so I could have chosen to make alternate plans. And lastly, when the manager decided he did not want to talk to me anymore, he cut me off mid-​sentence and simply stated, «Let me know when you want us to come back to finish the clean, goodbybe» and hung up on me. I am pretty sure Customer Service 101 would teach you day 1 that you should probably not hang up on a customer… ever.
Anyway, I realize this is long, but I wanted it to be clear that you should not trust this company to deliver on anything it says it will do. After multiple attempts to talk to someone else higher up in the company to make this right, I have been refused. Luckily Living Social (who I purchased the voucher from) did agree to refund a portion.

The website looked pretty legitimate and the reviews seems pretty good (though I fully admit to not doing a better job of investigating). I signed up online and received 10% off my first service. I logged on to my account to schedule a cleaning, and paid $ 166 for 4 hours of deep cleaning, but after you select this and pay, they don’t have a way to actually schedule it. I received a call from a woman from the service who told me they would not be able to come out this week, I said that was fine, whenever was convenient for them was fine for me. She then told me she would do a basic clean and I had to supply the cleaning product. I informed her that I paid for the «Extreme Clean» that included products — which cost more. Her response was «Oh, you have a voucher?» I said «No, I have my payment receipt.» She said «Ok, I’m on the road and will call you back in a few hours to schedule.» This was the last time I had actually heard from her. After countless phone calls and emails to the company which got progressively angry I still had no response.
I called my bank and set up a fraud claim and blocked them from being able to charge my account and was luckily able to reverse the charge. I have also contact CBS3 in Philly to get the word out to people that this is a scam. It is also connected to Living Social. I’m going to attempt to contact them to let them know that they are associated with a scam company.
DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING WITH THEM!!!

Very professional and efficient. was there on time, helpul and did a very good job. I habe called several times, they have been wonderful each time. highly recommend.

A shop vac? Seriously? This company sucks and the cleaners have never been good and I’ve given them chances OVER AND OVER. The people they send to your home are not educated in how to properly clean and what chemicals to use for what. Not only that but they have, on two occasions, TAKEN my brand new cleaning supplies with them never to be seen again. This company is a waste of money and time. I really feel like they just came here and pushed the dirt around and cleaned my home with dirty rags.

. I hired this company to clean my mothers home in Hollywood FL. She’s a senior and in fragile condition… I was charged xtra for additional services which included their cleaning supplies, steaming, etc. long story short, the home was just as filthy as before they arrived. Bath rooms, floors, counters were not cleaned but the dust and dirt was now spread throughout the home. I was disgusted with company and their service.

So I decided to treat myself to a cleaning from this company being that they are one of the few that clean 7 days a week. For starters I paid extra to get my house clean on the weekend… fine then an extra charge for using there cleaning products… When they arrived they had no uniforms just flip flops sweats and looked like they had not taken a bath in a while… not professional at all. They also let me know it WAS their day off Either way I paid for the service so I went ahead with it. When I came back home I see them use my vacuum and products
thought I paid for that. They missed most of the corner and counter tops in the bathroom. A corner OK… but a whole counter top really … no to mention just a few after asking them to relearn certain things I got tierd of asking to re do things so i just told them to have a great day… But the girl didn’t leave with out telling me how dirty there next client was not professional and She also used my microwave to heat her food and left my sink dirty.
I was also double charged and when I called to tell them I was unhappy they did nothing not even an apology
