I tried to contact these folks via their website. Error! I tried via Facebook. The message would not go through. I called. It rang and rang. Someone finally answered and I was able to explain what type of piano I wanted to have moved. They literally laid the phone down while they used a mapping program to verify the distance. I could hear a baby crying. The receptionist wasn’t the most pleasant. They seemed so unprofessional that despite the good reviews they received in the past I chose not to use them.

While I didn’t use them for moving a piano(rather a big/heavy piece of exercise equipment), their general moving services were great! Highly recommended. Craig and Sam were quick and courteous, and everything arrived in working order.

Sam and Craig even called to let us know they were on their way, running just a tad late, very professional and careful. I liked these guys, did a great job, very knowledgeable about pianos, pleasant people, told me a good story about moving Bob Seger’s piano. Highly recommended.

These guys are the best piano movers I’ve dealt with. They managed to get my Yamaha baby grand down a long flight of stairs and across town. Other companies were quoting $ 550+ for the job, but they did it for $ 350. Mike & Louis is one of the few dedicated piano moving companies left in Metro Detroit. Scheduling was quick(same week), and everyone I dealt with was really courteous. Definitely check them out.

I would recommend Mike and Louis to everyone. They were on time, personable, more than accommodating, generous and fairly priced. They gave my two year old, a lollipop and the dog a cookie, and even offered to let him walk around the truck. Thank you Sam and Craig on an awesome job.

Mike & Louis Piano Movers are BYFAR the best piano movers we have ever had. They moved a grand piano from the seller to the buyer with no problem whatsoever. They were extremely professional, prompt, and courteous. This company has moved tens of thousands of pianos, and their excellence shines through. I give them my highest recommendation, with no reservations whatsoever.

Great experience with them. Referred from a moving company, said they would have the best price and best people. $ 175 to move an upright piano(other places wanted $ 200+), the whole thing took under an hour, professional, put sheets down so as not to scratch the floor. Would recommend them anytime.

I gave away my piano to a friend as long as she paid for it’s removal. I originally got the piano for free the same way. She hired these guys and they were great. They called about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time to tell me they were on the way. They arrived a few minutes early and within 20 minutes they had a floor-liner laid and my piano was up and out of the house. They were courteous and professional; very friendly.

These guys were great. Their price was better than any of the general moving companies I called, they were on time, worked quickly but very carefully, and were totally professional. I was dreading having my piano moved thinking it was going to be this huge ordeal, but they made it very simple. I highly recommend them.
