The food looks great, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. It feels like you’re eating in a country home’s living room. Nice, country décor. The food is priced fairly. Some items are very large -, like the pancakes — and some seem smaller portioned for the price, like the french toast. They are open from 08:30 — 14:30 on Saturdays. They offer daily specials, such as combo plates, or soups of the day. This is a great place to eat!

used to be great but last two times.. chicken fried steak as tough as leather and a burger that u had to take apart to find the patty.. i mentioned it to the waitress and she did nothing about it, just brought me the bill. I loved coming here for choc chip pancakes for the kids but no more unfortunately

This is one of Port Orchards best kept secrets! This is my go-to brunch and breakfast place after working all night long. Upon first glance the outside is a little sketch. You aren’t sure if it is a restaurant or a strange purple church, but fear not it is a great place to get a great meal. Just pop on down to the basement where you will find the cozy little café. This place is not for everyone though. If you are the type of person who wants high end, gourmet meals look elsewhere. This place specializes in good ol’ comfort food! I would recommend coming hungry because thier portions are huge. Most dishes can easily be shared between two people. The pancakes are gigantic and honestly, one is enough for most people. Also, the biscuits and gravy are so scrumptious! I have been here several times and I have never left disappointed. This place is 100% worth a try.

Great local place to dine! Good sandwiches and breakfast. The only complaint I have is the wafer thin fatty cheap bacon, don’t order any. The pancakes are amazing. There can be a wait sometimes but they make all the food from scratch, so be patient.

Great place for great breakfast! Service is always great, friendly and courteous. Get here early on the weekend to avoid a wait. Well worth the wait though.

Great!!! Food, atmosphere and staff. The place is odd from the outside but very cute and homey inside. The food was fresh and very tasty. 1 pancake is the size of the plate.

Their home made corned beef hash was delicious, as was their strawberry jam and whole grain bread. We ate in their lovely, peaceful outdoor garden. Service was excellent.

Oh. My. Goodness. I’m not even sure where to start with this amazingness. Just go already! Ok, so my friend and I were hungry and found this place on Unilocal cause we wanted something slightly healthy. We were a tad sketched out from the outside but decided to give it a shot. Once we were inside we were instantly excited. It’s cute but clean. Like clean clean. Super cozy and welcoming, the staff makes you feel like your all just hanging out. But the food. I’m just gonna say we went yesterday for breakfast and today for lunch. It’s simply how good quality good should be, it’s beautiful and nurturing. You can feel the love and smell the freshness. And the price point is legit, this food is more than three times as good as our regular places but less expensive. We will go back weekly at least for a long time I’m sure. #newregulars

Found this place on Unilocal.Got there and was a little confused as to where the entrance was as the place is basically in the downstairs of someone’s house. Glad I found it because I just the best omelette I’ve ever had in my life(Chipotle Chicken) As soon as I walked in the door I was excited to try it. This place has the most comfy, cozy, friendly atmosphere. Everything looked liked it was bought at a thrift store and I mean that in the best possible way. Feels like home(well my home anyways). I ordered and got my food in about 7 minutes, the omelette looked great(eggs cooked perfectly and nice presentation) and tasted even better. It had chicken, spinach, red onions, chicken, and a chipotle sauce on top. Absolutely delicious. Fair prices($ 12.50 for my omelette) and great service. I will be back soon and often.

I don’t really understand the great reviews. Yes it’s funky inside. Yes you get stupidly huge portions. And yeah there are 10 flavors of hot sauce to choose from. But the food itself is the kind of food that comes back at you in a few hours — I’ve never needed a bathroom so suddenly in all my life.(Both times I was taken there to eat!) The quality of service, the couple times I’ve been there, has been inconsistent. While some people probably enjoy the feel of sitting down at home and being served, I’d prefer to know the staff is washing their hands and keeping their hair out of my food — or else I’d go eat at Grandma’s. For free. I’m sorry but this isn’t quality, and it isn’t healthy, and aside from a few token counter items, it isn’t really«cheap» either. So you’re eating breakfast in somebody’s basement. In a purple house that used to be a church. Where you park in a backyard next to a creepy old trailer. But this isn’t a museum it’s a restaurant and at that it really does not excel. Guess I just don’t buy into the novelty of it all as much as others have. And don’t have a lead stomache.

Great place! Food was fresh, hot and yummy! The décor is eclectic and fun, especially the mock walls set up using doors tables nestle among the many doors.

Happened upon this place for a Sunday breakfast en route to Seattle. Cute little place with warm décor and very cheerful service. The prices were very inexpensive($ 1.25 for a slice of banana bread!?) and the food was pretty good! Nothing gourmet or over-the-top delicious, but if you’re looking for a cozy breakfast I don’t think you can find much to complain about here.

Flavorful, satisfying food; excellent service, at a great price. Great repurposing of an old building. We each ordered scrambles that were loaded with veggies and flavor, but were not greasy or salty. Pleased that they offered a gluten-free toast and real peanut butter. Service was friendly, prompt, and accommodating. This made for a great little breakfast spot while on the road.

Service was great, food was even better. I just had a half grilled cheese and their tortellini soup(soup of the day) but it was very well done. My friend had the tortilla soup which they always have and it was also really tasty. Kind of a small menu, but what I would expect from a small café. Will definitely stop here again.

Nice service, average food, not sure what the direction of the menu is other than they make what they feel like. Great location but a missed opportunity to really do some good stuff.

Came back about 5 months after our first visit; this time for breakfast. My other half ordered the hash with eggs, potatoes, and toast, and I got a half order(small?) of the biscuits and gravy. Both meals were awesome. If I hadn’t have been so full from that one super dense(and delicious!) biscuit, I would have finished off the potatoes on his plate, too. As last time, the waitresses were quite friendly. We got there before a big rush, so we had their attention more than we had the time before. Service was prompt. Definitely coming back.
