A very nice and reasonably priced hotel. It was a weekend on spring break and this was the only affordable place to stay in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by this Days Inn location. At check-in, the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is in a prime location, not far from restaurants, shops and attractions. On premises, there is a pool, a hot tub and a sauna/steam room. I didn’t expect these considering the price for a Saturday night stay during spring break. Very impressive. Parking was also very convenient, as I didn’t have to walk far to my room. Even breakfast was full of a variety of options. The only two minor downsides would be the lack of a refrigerator in the room and the fact that the carpet in the room was old/worn. Otherwise, no major issues and I would highly recommend staying here!

Not too fancy, but has what you need and is clean. Great value. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, and free convenient parking. As always, a later breakfast would please me more, and get rid of powdered creamer.

I stayed here for a few nights in March 2015, and I am reserving a room for next week. Our room was clean and well maintained, the air conditioning worked fine. The continental breakfast was average, not bad, not spectacular. The neighborhood seemed to be fine — I didn’t worry about my car in the parking lot, nor did I worry about walking from here to there on the hotel property. It was a good stay.

The pros: $ 72/night, large room, pool, hot tub, cold breakfast included, wifi, workout room, very cold A/C, good size bathroom, easy to find. Management was polite. The cons: directly across the street from a very large and noticeable adult«couples» store with mannequins in the windows,(not family friendly), very very dirty, broken freezer door, refrigerator is rusted and mildewed, the toilet ran all night and when I tried to turn the shut off valve it started pouring water from the valve! Ha! Shower curtain and tub caulking was mildewed. I felt gross using that bathroom. I really can’t recommend this days inn unless you are desperate. I wish I had known how dirty it was, because I never would have stayed here. And to add insult to injury there is a tip envelope from«Jennifer» the housekeeper in the room. As if!

Bed Bugs. Lots and lots of bed bugs. I came to town to visit my grandfather and woke up on Christmas Eve itching, and spotted 3 or 4 bed bugs. You’ll see one of them that I captured in my attached photos. It was about 5 a.m. and the guy at the front desk wasn’t the least bit helpful, instead arguing with me that«people bring them in» and implying that the Days Inn couldn’t do anything about the issue. In total I had to return two more times, speaking with a total of 3 people to get my room refunded, after I had checked into a much cleaner hotel down the street. Having had plenty of friends with this awful experience in their NYC apartments, I recommended to the staff that they take this very seriously and bring in a bed bug dog to check each and every room, but judging by their response, they revealed very little sense of urgency and very little understanding of an issue that should be critical to anyone in the hotel industry.

The good: WiFi, pool and hot tub available. Free continental breakfast, and laundry room. The housekeeping staff were friendly and prompt. The price was cheap, at $ 54 per night when booked online. The Bad: Bathroom was dirty with black mold on the ceiling. In room coffee maker was filthy, but promptly replaced. The continental breakfast consisted of dry pastries and bad coffee. When calling to book a room, the person I spoke with was a complete idiot! Refused to allow me to reserve by credit card and pay cash within an hour. I never could log on to the WiFi, but others used it without a problem. It was O. K…but nothing to rave about.

Pretty solid two star place… not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but pretty bad. I don’t think they’ve updated anything ever. The carpet had«fresh» stains and the bathtub had a piece of old soap stuck to it. The sheets were torn, so the mattress was exposed and it wasn’t pretty. It was cheap and you get what you pay for. I just wish it was cleaner.

They have industrial-strength Public WiFi! I’ve been able to write a bunch of Unilocal reviews, reports for work(including graphics) and stream YouTube without a visible lag or the annoying disconnection /re-log on that a lot of public WiFi spots require. But enough about the net, since it’s not a telecom place. The Days Inn located right off US19 looks like your typical touristy road hotel, but there are a few extra comforts I was pleasantly surprised by, especially after my Hillsdale stay in San Fran a few months back. For example, a pool and outdoor hot tub(with room for 2:) The kiddies have a swing set — and yes it’s a great way to decompress after meetings! The AC is freezing cold and the bathroom is spacious — almost the width of the room. My king size bed was deliciously comfortable with a firm mattress. Although there’s no restaurant as part of the property, it’s centrally located with a bunch of restaurants about a 5 minute drive. Free continental breakfast is included in the fee, and I’m tempted to take away a half star because they didn’t have waffles. I suppose they could add a waffle iron and do the make-your-own-waffle mix I’ve enjoyed at other business hotels. However, the friendly service and convenient location to my meeting site round it up to 5 stars. I will be back!
