History

Established in 2007.

We (Adam & Jared) started helping our friends move with our little pick-​up truck and decided to start a little business. With our dedication to great service (and the loyalty of our repeat customers) we’ve grown into a full-​service moving company and we call it «2Brothers Moving & Delivery.»

So, whether you’re moving a commercial office, re-​arranging stuff in your home, moving things from house to house, or taking all your possesions from one city or state to another — we can help! No job is too big or too small.

Manager

A native Californian, Jon has lived in Sacramento, L.A. and Santa Barbara. He is a US Davis graduate in Psychology, and his hobbies include mountain biking and finding great food and restaurants. His wife is from Vancouver, BC, and they wanted to find a nice compromise point between Canada and California where they could thrive culturally and escape all that pesky sunlight. He thrives on the uniqueness of his job and enjoys dealing with people and arranging moves.

Ray and Mike were to our old place on time and were efficient in the moving process for us. Even though we were only moving about 2 miles down the road, they took great care of each piece and everything made it 100% safe and undamaged. If you’re looking for a professional moving service that is fair, look to these guys and this company.

An overall great moving experience. Tim and Pete were really helpful with assembling furniture, and they got even more done than we expected them to. They were also very friendly and treated our belongings with great care. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

These guys were great! We had Martin, Ryan, Jakob and Dave.
They showed up on time and were cheerful, full of energy and took great care moving our stuff. We were finished hours earlier than expected.
You know how stressful moving can be? Well these guys took the stress out of the day. We recommend them highly and if by chance we need them again, we know who to call. You should call them too.

2 Brothers gets all of the stars. Jack was great about scheduling the move and following up to make sure everything was on schedule. The movers — Tim, Nathan, and Jakob — arrived within the three-​hour window, and they were great about working around our two small kids. They moved a few dozen boxes of books without complaint, and even moved my grill that had crusted-​on ash that I forgot to clean ahead of time. Moving can be such a stressful event, and these guys made my life immeasurably easier. Hire 2 Bros, yo.

I asked my dad to help me move. He said, «No man, hire a moving company. I’ll even pay for it.» He searched for one in Portland and said, «2Brothers Moving… $ 89 per hour. Looks legit. Book it and I’ll buy.» Man, always trust a father of 4 boys. In the end they’re full of wisdom and they pay for stuff.
The setup process was straightforward. I played phone tag with the appointment setter, but he stayed on top of the callbacks and we nailed down a date. We outlined all of the furniture, boxes, and random items prior to move, and based on that information they provide a suggested truck size. We had more than enough room to complete the trip.
Prior to moving day, they make a courtesy call to confirm the move. Then on moving day at 8:30 AM, you receive a call from the movers letting you know they are en route. Upon arrival they inspect the movables, ask questions, review the entire task, and begin moving quickly. They wrap every piece of furniture quickly and with care. I was impressed.
Once the truck is loaded they check back in to confirm completion. I said, «Looks perfect,» and they confirmed the new address. The off-​load at the new place was even quicker, and none of the furniture was even close to damaged because of the pre-​packaging and care provided. With each piece they asked where it should go, and at the end they even offered to help rearrange furniture.
Ultimately, I was impressed with the preparation, timeliness, professionalism, and execution of 2Brothers. Shout out to the movers, Adrian and Jahan, who were full of optimism, energy, and went the extra mile to make sure every item was properly cared for. Come to think of it… that’s everything you want in a move! Get some peace of mind AND security during moving season, CALL 2 BROTHERS everybody!

We had 2 Brothers move us from Beaverton to Astoria. I was very impressed with the initial interview where we explained what needed moved. A move is super stressful. These guys seem to get that. They’re very professional, efficient, accommodating, communicative, and friendly. They keep you in the loop while making sure you allow THEM to do the lifting and moving. I was fine with that. They stayed within the agreed schedule and budget. We appreciated that. No surprises. We’re happy, moved in, and stress-​relieved.

I am extremely pleased with 2 Brothers Moving. Scottie, Jakob, and Jahan were total rock stars. They were efficient, careful, and lots of fun to have make moving a lot less stressful. I would use them again… but hopefully this is the last move for a while!

These guys were great. Professional, careful, no nickel and diming or unexpected stuff. Cost me about 800 for a move from apt + distant storage unit to a townhouse at a third location.
One of the guys came down ill during the move (poor guy) but before I even noticed (!) somebody else had driven all the way out to hillsboro to replace him. Made me question the laws of physics. Amazing.
They also moved my mom, and did a great job for her too, only a week later. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

I had an excellent experience with 2 Brothers Moving & Delivery, specifically with Jack (who coordinated my moving dates & the particulars) & the two employees who handled the actual move (Dave & Nathan). Although I knew that, as usual, I didn’t have just a plethora of things to move, I didn’t expect the entire process to go as smoothly & as quickly as it did – my movers arrived promptly & carefully loaded, moved, & unloaded my belongings in a little over two & a half hours – at $ 89/​hr, that’s as good as I’ve found, & like I said before, they were as polite & professional as you could hope for. I don’t believe I’ll be moving again anytime soon, but if I were I wouldn’t hesitate as to who I’d want to help me & I couldn’t recommend their services more – 2 Brothers Moving & Delivery simply offers an efficient, cost-​effective, as-​painless-​as-​possible moving option.

Updating my 2÷24÷15 review:

The truck dispatched was smaller than the February move, which caused problems. Fortunately, Jack had the movers make a second trip at no extra cost to me due to the oversight. Clayton and Masa were troopers throughout the entire very long day — two trips with an hour of drive time for each round trip. They kept their humor about them, and the company maintained a high quality of customer service. I would definitely continue to recommend their services in the future.

I contracted the company’s services recently. The initial phone call to estimate my needs was expertly conducted with a follow-​up email of our conversation and expectations. Martin and Scott were absolutely great on the day of the move. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough. I had figured up the load-​out, drive, and load-​in times for the move, and they finished each phase faster than I had expected — all with good humor, cheer, and a can-​do attitude. Moving can be a vulnerable time in a person’s life, and the courtesy and professionalism of everyone involved was reassuring.
My next move will be with their assistance.

In a world full of doubt, trouble and weirdness (not the good kind) it is good to know 2 Brothers is a company that actively cares, treats their customers with respect and keeps their promises for service. After four years in retail i was moving my art studio home, with all kinds of art supplies and furniture of odd shapes and sizes. Thanks to Larz, David and Masai, the move was a breeze, trouble free and done in short order. Especially want to mention their engineering skills. All the big pieces were going upstairs through a narrow hallway turn. While not an elephant, that double oak cabinet was definitely an ornery Rhinoceros. The fellas took their time, negotiated, discussed options and then did it. My cabinet now sits safely in the Library neat and intact. THANK YOU.
It was a sad move, leaving my space, but they helped make it comfortable. And that;s rare.

My experience awesome! The company gave me a three hour window of an arrival time, and my movers arrived on the front end of the window which I was thankful for. Javon and Klayton were great. They wrapped and packed my things into the truck, just like expert Tetris gammers. The unload took longer than I had expected, which lead me to thinking next time, I will probably get three movers. All of my items made it safely to my new home.
I did a lot of research on moving companies prior to my move. This company has great ratings online, is licensed by the State of Oregon, and had the best weekday prices of all the companies who are licensed by the State. I highly recommend this company.

We moved across town and were referred to 2 Brothers by my Daughter and Son-​In-​Law and were very happy with the entire experience. I can’t think of any area where the move could have been improved and the price was less than we projected and very realistic.
We were assigned a representative, John, who helped us figure what needed to be move and details. We also ordered 3 storage units that were delivered early so we could fill those up with the easy items and then they were put in storage while we could List our home for sale. Once we took possession of our new home we had the storage units delivered which allowed us to get a lot of the basics in the house and set up prior to the big move. 2 Brothers gave us a very good rate on the storage units because we were moving with them also. I would HIGHLY recommend checking out this option.
3 hard working young men (2 dave’s (no relation to 2Brothers) and Jahan) worked systematically and steady, carefully too l might add. We changed our minds on a couple of items and they stepped right in and made the needed changes. Jahan even helped with an unrelated installation that we were going to have put together later. I’m known to be a little frugal and I was so satisfied with the service that I gave them a tip for their efforts!
We feel like we got more than we paid for and would highly recommend these movers just as we appreciate being recommended to them.

Great experience and that’s a lot to say when you are moving. My move was completed in two hours! 2 Brothers have a great team — Masa, David and Nathan were great. They were professional, friendly and fast as well as careful.
The scheduling process was also easy and they worked with my crazy meeting schedule. Thank you Jon Darling for your patience and coordination.
I would definitely use you them if I have to move in the future.

Great moving company. I found everyone at 2 Brothers to be very helpful. They called me back right away, were very easy to work with, and patient when I called to change the date (again) of my move.
And then the day of the move, Nate, Dave, & Ryan were amazing. These guys kicked butt the entire time. They got right to work, were communicative, and very friendly. Nate walked me through the details (before and after) and that was that. Easy as pie! They were even very creative with getting some of my larger items into the new place. I completely appreciated that!

Best moving company! Moved from PDX to Salem — Scott and Jack exceeded all expectations. I have antiques and a sizable, heavy sectional couch that they had to get up to my apartment on the second floor in an older remodeled building. So impressed with their professionalism and expediency. Best money I ever spent … And they worked in record time.
Note here: Be hyper organized to make your move go faster and it will cost you less. I moved the small and breakable items to storage prior to my moving day. Take the time to list the items you want them move for you. No one really enjoys moving but Two Brothers Moving makes it so much easier and better!!!

I was really looking forward to hiring 2 Brothers for my small apartment move, but they make it almost impossible to get a hold of them! I called constantly every hour/​every half hour and was always greeted with a message «That the line was busy» and to leave a message with a few details.
So, I left a message. Went to work and a voicemail was left for me but it was impossible to hear (almost like they were talking to me in a wind tunnel or a location with no service.) Attempted to call back and was once again greeted by a busy line.
When I finally managed to talk to someone they were all booked up.(i guess that makes sense if you’re line has been constantly busy from the moment you open to the moment you close.)

Ok, so I’m always nervous with movers. For some reason I always get the angry dudes who are pissed off at their job and don’t care about my stuff. MY STUFF, PEOPLE! The precious goods that comfort me through a breakup and make me feel at «home» even when I first move in. Home sweet home.
Robert, Martin, and newbie Luke made me comfortable, made me laugh, and pretty much made my day. Moving has rarely been so easy (and fun… what?! Yes, fun.) I loved hearing them train Luke and coach him throughout the day. They clearly want to do the right thing by their customers.
If you move — ask for this crew. They are careful, diligent, and friendly. You won’t regret it. Only tip — ask Luke to wear some deo for the b.o. If you’re in to that sort of thing, it’s no biggie. I just like nice smelling movers.
