This was our first visit to this store and it will be our last. We were there on a Saturday(6÷20÷15) and there was more staff in the store than customers. Yet, amazingly, NOONE offered to assist us. I am guessing it was because they were far to busy entertaining each other to concern themselves with doing their jobs. We did find something to purchase — but when it came time to pay — we got the full on run around. We were first sent to the lower level only to have the girl tartly let us know we had to go up two levels to the cashier. Needless to say — we did not make our purchase. We will not support such poor customer services. We will never set foot in this store again ! Horrible customer service.

Probably the most friendly A&F store I’ve been to. Several employees smiled and helped us find what we were looking for. We happened to go during a sale so prices on some items were decent. I rarely shop here because of their prices but they are my favorite store to get a nice pair of jeans. Great location too in downtown Portland. Coming from Seattle, it’s nice not to pay sales tax here!

I’m usually pretty impressed with the service at this location. There have been a couple times when you can tell the employees are just going through the motions of the greetings and barely even smile, but let’s be real… they work in the dark, with loud(and annoying, and repeating) music, and strong fragrance all day. I’ll cut them a break. The store itself is newer and nice. I like the multi-levels. The fitting rooms are generally clean. They usually have a good clearance selection that you can often find up to 70% off the already marked down price. Once I needed to price adjust a dress and they did it fairly easily for me, even though I was price adjusting on Black Friday and was receiving 50% of the cost of a nice dress back. Score.
