We are a floor covering installation shop that installs products both retail and commercial. We also sell rems of carpet and sheet vinyl. Our in warehouse showroom has many displays from different manufacture’s for ordering 15% above our cost.
History
Established in 1973.
George Regis, the owner, grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan and began installing in 1973. In 2002 he opened a small, but specialized store in Damascus, Oregon called Alpine Floor Design, after his passion for the outdoors. Later he moved his shop and show room to Portland in the amiable neighborhood of Sellwood at 17th and Tacoma Street.

When George isn’t hard at work he is teaching his teenage daughter how to fly his airplane and showing his young son about the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. As a family, they like to hike the terrain, ski the slopes of the Cascade Range, fly in his airplane up the Columbia River Gorge, bike the Springwater Corridor, or surf the beautiful coastal swells.
