Best gyro in Portland. I am not messing around and neither are they. Angelina’s is the gyro messiah.

The best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned the pita was awesome — this was a sandwich worth waiting in line for.

This is my favorite Portland Saturday market food cart. Located on the waterfront it’s always fresh local and delicious

Okay I’ve been going to this for several years great gyro but almost $ 14.00 for one sorry went up the street had a great gyro for $ 6.00 lost my business.

Yum! «The Bomb​.com» a giant Gyro of Greek goodness. However the wait was long and at $ 12.75 they should afford more help to get the line moving a bit faster. I didn’t see any beverage choices other than water which meant another booth for your drink. I’ll be back time permitting.

Ok, yeah I’ll give it to them that the gyros are good…,.BUT NOT worth nearly $ 10-​sorry $ 9.75 is EXCESSIVE, it’s a freaking food cart for heaven’s sake NOT New York city! Especially since last season they were $ 8.00 a piece and the feta was a add on and the season before that they were $ 7.50 – which was still a little high but totally worth it. I guess fortunately for them, people are still willing to wait upwards of 40 minutes in that ridiculous line and pay their super inflated prices! I however, will not be going back… I’ll take my cash and hit one of the MANY MANY fantastic food joints in Portland, heck I may even go out to Gresham to the Uzbecki Grill, an amazing little place AND it respects your hard earned cash with fantastic home made grub! Yes! Worth the line and all the hype at the Saturday Market! One of the best gyros ever! They start with crunchy lamb/​beef cut off the spit, fresh veggies, feta, Taziki sauce, pepperchinis, all served on a toasty pita, by kind booth staff, all working hard to serve a great gyro for the never ending line, every time! I’m still thinking of this gyro a week later! Will be back.

Seriously the best gyro I have ever had. My hubby and I tried to go around to different places in Seattle, but they don’t compare to this place. We recently drove down to Portland and our first stop was the Saturday Market to pick up one of their gyros (mind you, the last time we had it was about 3 years ago, and couldn’t remember the name, but luckily they were in the same stall at the market)!

I ordered a palette pleasing lamb and beef gyro. You get a choice of adding tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and a spicy sauce at no addional cost. For an addional dollar they’ll add feta cheese and cucumbers. I had mine with everything they had to offer, bringing my order to a total of $ 9.50. The beef and lamb was seasoned well and not oily. The cucumber added a gratifying crunch, while the tomato added to the juicy sauce. The hot sauce they added at my request was spicy, but didn’t obscure any of the flovors of the other ingredients. I was there on a Sunday at 11:30am and there wasn’t a line.

I got the Greek salad with jalapeño garlic sauce, feta vinaigrette, and ranch, I believe. I liked that they had pepperoncinis for you to take and the people working were great and hilarious (Although, one guy thought I was 12… I’m 20, but to be honest I do look 12. He was very nice though. :P) My girlfriend went here while visiting Saturday Market. We both enjoyed our food. A little bit of wait, but totally worth it.

No bullshit, this place is epically good. I work in the building next to them and I try hard not to eat here everyday. If you want a real gyro, this is the spot.

I frequently head down to the Saturday Market just to get one of her Gyros, excellent every time.
The only down fall, the long lines, lol.

Really delicious, ask for it with «the works» and the spicy jalapeño sauce. However, the prices are kind of outrageous… $ 7.50 before you add the works for $ 1 extra… and it’s way skimpier on the meat than even the regular gyro from Aybla. But the veggies are super fresh! Yum.

When I think vacation I don’t say to myself, hmm let me grab a gyro, but since I had not experienced many food carts yet I decided, why not?

While my only gripe is being they want to charge $ 1.00 on top for feta and cucumbers (really) at $ 7.50 it was a great value for the taste. Just so much flavor and super juicy. You can’t go wrong trying them out. I would say it is probably the best gyro I have tasted.

Had the longest line as we wandered the market on Small Business Saturday, and it smelled so amazing you just happily stood in the long line.
And the food was amazing and super easy to carry around the market and multi task shopping and eating. Absolutely delicious and satisfying.

Wandering Portland’s Saturday Market, this was the only cart with a line. So it must be good right? Totally!
Fresh, flavorful, and just enough of everything to make a hungry person very happy.

OMG so, worth the line, too bad we can only have this on Saturdays and Sundays! The lamb/​beef gyro is seasoned to perfection, with the cucumbers, feta and spicy sauce it is the best thing to eat at Portland Saturday Market! I love the chicken too, for a lighter fare. They are always so quick and efficient, it’s a amazing! You know the darn gyro is good when you see everyone walking around with one. Don’t settle for the stand that is next to it, you will regret your decision on your first bite! mmmmMmm. Hurry Saturday come quick !!!

The Gyros are the BEST! My mouth waters just thinking about them.
Angelina’s definitely needs to take that to the SE Woodstock are during the week so we don’t have to wait so long to the weekend to enjoy these! I vote YES!

This is a great gyro. I stopped by at Saturday Market and heard many people raving, so I tried it out. The meat (beef and lamb), sauce, and vegetables (optional) are all great. They come on a warm, grilled, flatbread and are twisted together for easy carry with parchment paper.
Here’s where they went REALLY right. I’ve eaten a lot of gyros, and taste wise many are very similar. But they package their gyro into a very filling but still manageable package. So rather than losing all the goods while trying to eat it (or having to resort to a knife and fork) you can actually easily eat this while walking around.
The people that work here were REALLY friendly too. If I eat some more of their menu I’d probably jump this up to 5 stars.
