We specialize in hand screen printed media and design with a sustainable flair. Our shop uses soy based chemicals, recycled papers and organic cotton (when requested) and we use environmentally friendly water based or non-​pvc and phthalate free inks.

History

Established in 2006.

Arm Factory was first established in the summer of 2006 at the Dana Warp Mill in Westbrook, Maine a restored textile mill now housing a myriad of creative services and manufacturing. Our team of artists pooled their resources to create the foundation of what is today a quickly growing print shop and artist’s community. Today we are based in the East Bayside neighborhood of Portland, Maine at 200 Anderson St., an exciting hub of progressive local businesses in a creatively & culturally emerging area of the city.
