Art Home Company is as good as it gets. I’ve had numerous framings done with them and they are so helpful and tasteful. I was new to Portland when I first went there and they are very fun people to know and spend time with when it comes to something close to your heart, art.

Excellent shop with a super friendly staff. Go to Michaels for your bargain basement framing. If you want a nice job on your picture come here. They put your art on a magnetic board and place all sorts of color swatches for matte board up. Very nice. In addition to this they recommended a V-​score around the edges which really turned out nice.
We had a needlepoint framed for our nursery and when we came to pick it up they through in a free frame for some baby pictures. It cost more than going to Michaels would have, but we ended up with a much nicer experience and some professional help.

Bod and Efrain, the proprietors of Art Home Company, replaced glass on a piece of artwork that was damaged in transit in the space of about 15 minutes, and did so cheerfully and with no fuss and drama. Naturally, they were the «go-​to» guys for my next real project, which was framing a native Hawaiian work executed on either tree bark or something similar. We quickly sourced a dark wooden frame that echoed the geometric motif in the piece, but couldn’t figure out an appropriate mounting material and color. They researched different options and came up with a proposal that was perfect, resulting in a museum-​quality piece.

This was my first custom framing experience ever. Wow. I had no idea what I was doing and the guys were so patient. They really have a great eye and tried to hook me up with the most cost effective frame that looked the best. That’s the goal, right? I had a great time talking with Bob and Efrain. They are really personable and great to work with. I highly recommend to everyone and will definitely be using them in the future.

Bob and Efrain are artists in the truest sense. I had a unique project that I had been looking for years to have done. I called all over town and got no where — so by the time I found Efrain and Bob was elated that they would take my project on. I walked in and felt completely taken care of. Its a little hard to explain just how much fun and amazing it was to work with them. They are magical, no kidding. Even though they had not done what I was looking for before they were VERY enthusiastic about giving it a try but they also were sure to make sure it was done correctly and got my approval at each step along the way. In the end I have a beautiful asian piece that I am now able to display on my wall. Frankly, its done even better than I could have ever expected. I am a perfectionist so am not easily pleased however, I not only feel completely satisfied but amazed by their work. Everyone comments on how beautiful it is. Thanks so much! We will certainly be back with more projects in the future!

These guys are terrific! We were nervous about investing the time and money into framing these nice (but inexpensive) pieces of art we’d carried with us from Vietnam — the truth is that you never know what you are going to get because framing is art in itself. And, thankfully, Bob and Efrain are artists! A true case of you get what you pay for. They spared no amount of attention on us, spending more time to evaluate and listen than we even thought was needed. They came up with unique solutions and suggestions. And once unveiled, we were thrilled to see that the pieces they put together are museum quality. Thanks to Art Home — and thanks to the prior reviews, which were spot-​on. Art Home Company did a beautiful job framing my diploma and medical license. Very impressed! They took the time to help me pick out the perfect combinations of frames/​mats. The guys there really have an eye for what looks right together. They were very patient, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Also, they helped me find combinations that worked with my budget and went out of their way to cut costs here and there until I was able to get something gorgeous for the right price. You can tell they love what they do and customer satisfaction is #1. I would highly recommend this place!

The friendly owners and artisans of Art Home frame shop — Bob and Efrem — have created an oasis of painstaking craftsmanship in the Central Eastside. I’ve been taking my photos and art to them for years. They have a passion for framing and art. They have a flawless eye for detail, always suggesting the best matching frames and mats for the subject. They can work with your budget and are flexible and fun to work with. They’ve literally saved some of my pieces that were disintegrating on acid paper and behind broken glass. They’re also made some of my garage estate sale finds look like they belong in the Louvre. Avoid the overpriced and impersonal «chain» frame shops and go see the charming and talented guys at Art Home. Free parking in a central location.

I have had over a dozen things framed at Art Home over the years — from very large textile art to very small pen and ink drawings to large, damaged vintage posters. They do a fabulous job including customizing frames to make them just perfect with the artwork. I’ve always enjoyed working with them and am always amazed at their very reasonable prices. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I had not been in the store for 4 years and these guys remembered who I was– impressive!
I went back for picture framing based on the quality of first print I had framed in 2007. They did a great job on then and the quality continues today. There new space is easy to get to and there is store parking.
I will certainly bring more work to them in the future.
