History

Established in 2010.

The idea for Biscuit Bike actually started with Kombucha, when it was in short supply in June 2010. We noticed some in stock at a local shop, and thought of the idea of purchasing it all and starting a mobile Kombucha cart. Well, that didn’t seem like enough, so we paired it with one of our favorite things that seemed to combine well with it: biscuits and gravy.

Then we decided to have our entire menu be vegan, working with Black Sheep Bakery in Northeast Portland to come up with the menu items. Also going local, we partnered with Townshend’s Tea Company to get their Brew Dr. Kombucha on tap. All on a bike!
