We are a unique caregiver registry that brokers a pool of independent caregivers who are screened, bonded and liability-​insured. Clients hire caregivers directly for a referral fee. In our model, called «consumer-​directed care,» clients and caregivers determine the details of their arrangements together, including duties and compensation.

Our independent caregivers provide all levels of personal care, from companionship to hospice, as determined between client and caregiver.

Caregiver Connection has been in business since 1998. We are Oregon’s first licensed Caregiver Registry that brokers over 125 independent caregivers, who earn 90% of the total fee. Micki Carrier has a background in nursing and the caregivers specialize in «medical» care giving, including hospice and 24-​hour «live-​in’ care. We serve the Portland Metro area.
