Before moving to Portland, she studied ballet for 10 years in Boston. «I believe in the restorative powers of movement and creativity and I support my clients to keep their bodies healthy and moving. It’s back to basics, with food, motion & fun!

Catherine Gurski is the best combination of acupuncturist/​naturopath. She is able to use her broad knowledge to go at a problem from various perspectives. I have been particularly responsive to her cranial work for jaw, ear and neck pain. She was able to treat the problems by recognizing the connections and by being keenly sensitive to the connections among these different parts. I highly recommend Catherine as a naturopath and acupuncturist, particularly if you would like cranial work.

Dr. Gurski has been treating my husband and me for three years. She is thoughtful, informed, caring, and competent. She has effectively treated digestive issues, high blood pressure and cholesterol, the common cold, chronic headaches, and a broken finger. Her kind spirit, genuine care, and focus on holistic wellness have provided us long-​term and life changing benefits. She goes the extra mile and consistently exceeds our expectations. I highly recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Gurski is the best! Never ever feel rushed. Dr. Gurski listens and is very patient.
Acupuncture has been helping with my shoulder pain (bicep tendonitis), and she has been practicing cranial sacral as well which has also been helping.
She also guided me through a liver cleanse to help deal with some skin issues I was having. It was thorough and realistic unlike many cleanses I have tried. Numerous people have told me that my skin is glowing.
She leaves no stone unturned in trying to get to the root of the issue, rather than simply treating the symptoms.

I see Catherine for a variety of issues: arthritis, nervousness about impending surgery, etc. She uses a combination of acupuncture and cranial sacral work on me which is terrific. The acupuncture works deeply while the cranial work gives you the relaxation of a massage.
I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Gurski is awesome! She has a very gentle way about her and you can tell she really cares about you as an individual, which is nice… She listens to you and your concerns, willing to refer you if necessary and address issues you are concerned about with you. Go check her out!

Dr Gurski is an exceptional practitioner. She listens to you *and* your body. She takes the time to ask questions and thoughtfully determine the right course of treatment, which is so refreshing as someone who had only previously been a western medicine patient.
Being an acupuncture skeptic in the past, I am now a true believer. I have had great success with her naturopathic treatments for ailments that I have had for decades (and which other doctors have not been able to treat successfully).
Catherine in particular is a great doctor and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for treatment as a whole person rather than just a condition/​injury. She is caring and has a real passion for her work.

Dr. G is a bright, thoughtful physician with an awesome bedside manner. She listens well and seems to be really invested in her patients’ health.
She works as a naturopath and also does acupuncture, and she’ll write you a prescription for Chinese medicine if you want that. Also, she’s great in a pinch — I threw my back out once and she came in after hours to treat me that same day.
She has been my doctor for years, and I highly recommend her work.

I meet Catherine at a social gathering a few years ago. I was really impressed with her passion for her work and the length of study she went to through to be the best she could be for her patients. I started seeing Catherine a little over a year ago & appreciate the individual care and service she provides. I have received acupuncture from her multiple times for numerous self inflicted sports injuries & am continually amazed what relief it brings.
