Dive beerpub is the only way to describe Clinton Street Brewing. The beers are just as bad as the place looks. But it’s different then other places in Portland so it does stand out in that way. Also they don’t open till 6:30 pm.
When I walked in with a couple people we got a strange look, almost like «do you know what you’re doing here…» We ordered up the two beers they brewed. There weren’t many options. The IPA wasn’t very good, and the WIT was just plain terrible. Whats the deal here? I know they just started brewing but maybe a few practice batches would of helped.
The only way I see this being enjoyable and working is if you are getting a beer here and going to watch a movie. But I don’t recommended hanging out here drinking out of a plastic cup when there are plenty of good places to go for a decent pint in Portland.
