Dead Gods Tattoo

I had a phenomenal time getting a tattoo by Davey. He was patient, creative, and was a great listener. He took a piece of crap rough sketch into a great piece. Looking around at the shop the other artists were doing great stuff and were really friendly. Also they have Nintendo with great games in the lobby. Great price, great experience.

Joe has been tattooing me since 2009. He’s a fantastic artist, extremely talented, and his color work is on point. I have referred dozens of people to him because they can’t get over how awesome my ¾ sleeve looks. Be prepared to wait 9 months to get in, because he’s just that good.

David is an awesome artist!!! He has done all my tattoos and I am very happy. The facility is super clean and has a great atmosphere! All of the staff are great and have great sense of humor!
I highly suggest Dead Gods! You won’t be disappointed! They even have awesome music playing!

I will update when it is completely done. So I was a first time tattoo virgin. I walked in and my artist imediately met me and started asking what I wanted. Davy was stoked to do the art which is awesome. I had checked other shops and was disappointed that other shops wanted to do a 5 minute mock up and bounce me out ASAP. One shop said they could do my tattoo in 3 hours. Davy and I have spent close to 9 hours already on it and have another 3 to go. Now the reason for this is because Davy is doing it right, not just pumping out a quick tattoo for cash. Davy spent a lot of time mocking up a drawing and working hard to make sure it was perfect before the needle ever touched skin.
If you’re a first timer or even a seasoned tattoo enthusiasts. Do yourself a favor and check in here.
As a first timer my number one issue was cleanliness, this shop has that. It is so clean, so professional, and the artists are so good. I will never go elsewhere. Davy and I are even already talking about my next tattoo.
Eventually I want some work from will and keoki too. But for now, Davy is covering me with the art I like. I’m 33 and never got a tattoo due to pain fear. Davy and will quickly cut my anxieties and we’re very convincing. Now I actually an kinda addicted to the feel.

Brandon is a true artist! This is my first tattoo, which I love. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I have already recommended him to friends and family. I’m sure I’ll be back for my second.

Love this shop! I had recently moved to the area and was doing my typical search for a new artist to work with… the reviews here on Unilocal helped soooo much!
I went into Dead Gods and checked out the books — AMAZING!
The most difficult things for me were choosing an artist, having to wait for my appointment date and deciding what to have done first!
I was fortunate to book an appointment with Joe, just shy of a 6 month wait time. He was worth it! The enhancements he’s done to my existing piece are beautiful and I can’t wait to get in and get going on more. On a side note, he was easy to chat with and very light handed, which was much appreciated.
The atmosphere and people were all awesome. I laugh a lot though, not always good when getting inked, so it took some focus on my part, but the comfort levels are high. I would definitely recommend Dead Gods Tattoo to friends.
If you have something small that you want done, you can try and do a walk in, they seem very accommodating and any one of them would do incredible work.
However, these artists are so great at their craft they tend to book out pretty far on bigger pieces. This actually worked out well for my budgeting proposes. I like that they’re very up front about rates so you’re not surprised and having to break into your piggy bank after the fact.
Also, be prepared to leave a cash deposit when you set your appointment. It’s not something I’ve ever done in the past, but an excellent business practice for securing the artists’ time and ensuring the client’s sincerity.

Keoki is amazing!!! I had an old tattoo that was so embarrassing that I didn’t like to show it… but he did such an amazing job covering it up and is a perfectionist just as much as I am. I’ve already made a follow up appointment to fix the rest of my sleeve. I highly recommend him to everyone and especially to those who are looking for a good cover up.

This place is amazing! I have 4 tattoos from Dead Gods that I love (3 from Jay and 1 from Will). They are priced very fair, the shop is clean, and they always go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience! I wanted an appointment on Jay’s day off and he offered to come in. Nothing but good experiences here! I will defiantly be back. For sure the best place to go!

I looked around the area for different artist before I decided on Joe at Dead God Tattoo! (I didn’t find anyone that could do the detail I wanted until him) This was my first bigger tattoo and I knew I wanted realistic style roses as well as a realistic ¾ths moon!
I had my consultation and scheduled my appointment for August (they also added me to the cancelation list for Joe, just incase he had an opening sooner). 2days later I got a call there was an opening and was in getting my tattoo that next week!
Joe made sure I liked the drawing, size and placement before anything else. I loved it all so we got started!
I made it 4hrs in total (didn’t get to finish it but have another appointment set to do so)!
Joe was awesome the whole time! Make sure I was doing okay, breathing (lol), trying to distract me as best he could! We took breaks when I needed it, and applied numbing spray when we could!
I recommend Joe to anyone for their tattoos, he is awesome and I can’t wait to finish this piece, and possible more in the future!
The shop’s atmosphere is great as well! Very welcoming, not the topical intimidating shop (for us newbees) that I’ve felt before.
All in all I’m stoked on what I got and can’t wait to go back in August!

After years of waiting to cover up a really old and distorted tattoo. After lots of thinking I opted to have my Service Dog King for a model. The portrait of King came out much better than I’d hoped for. Joe did the work and after at least 4 hours in the chair I got what I wanted and Joe did a great job with the portrait.

I have many tattoos. So does my husband. When an artist friend of ours bailed on an already-​started sleeve on my husband, we went to Dominick. He didn’t even hesitate. He started right away, and has done some of THE most detailed work I’ve ever seen in such a short amount of time. And it’s REALLY, REALLY good. I love going there. Dominick is hilarious to work with, he loves his job, the vibe at the shop is awesome, and when I want something done right, I would never for a second hesitate to go to him. Don’t even think to second guess this shop. As a matter of fact, I’m going to call now to make an appointment…

Will was awesome!!! You know when you build up anticipation for something that when it actually comes down to the event it doesn’t live up to the hype? Well this wasn’t the case for me. Will and the rest of the guys totally exceeded my expectations and I am fairly particular. He made sure to take time with me in design and seemed to have all the patience in the world. During the tattoo it was relaxation and fun conversation with the other artist. It had been 15 years since my last tattoo so it felt like it was the first time again and they were great. The after care instructions were clear and concise and healed withing a couple days. I am so happy with the finished product I am starting to plan my next tattoo!

Update: While I was getting my artwork done, my husband had a consult with Austin and made an appointment to come in and get going on a large arm piece. First visit started out great, I still appreciate the reminder phone call, however the «Receptionist» needs to develop a personality. First visit went well, in retrospect we should have discussed total cost before putting down a deposit, the tattoo was SUBSTANTIALLY more than either of us could have imagined, our fault.
The music is so loud I can barely think, but the space is clean and they are very accommodating if you want to bring a friend along. Having spent so many hours in the shop I was able to enjoy most of the artists work and I have to say they are all DAMN good at their trade, very talented artists and generally nice folks.
As one reviewer mentioned, don’t expect to show up at your appointment time and have your artist ready, that does not appear how they roll (or at least one of them) they have to arrive first, setup, smoke, whatever and then about fifteen to twenty minutes later they are ready,
I do have to say we fell in love with Austin, my husband and he have so much in common they yacked the entire time, he is a good person and nice guy, if he was younger I might adopt him!
Maybe I am just getting old, but what I would give for a yuppy tattoo shop that plays classical music and serves chilled chardonnay.

This place is cool. Got an awesome tattoo from Joe. He did a great job. I brought my headphones and was planning on watching a movie on my ipad but just listening to the artists talk was entertaining enough so I never got around to it. I would highly recommend this shop and plan on going in again for my next piece.

I love this place. Nice and clean and very friendly. I got my tattoo done by Joe it was small colored lettering. I was super nervous, he personality made it easy to get over my nervs. I looked as his work book and it was amazing (especially the color). I love bright colors that just jump off the skin and that’s exactly what he gave me. Giving it 5 stars as I’ve been to lots of tattoo shops in LA and Hollywood and this is by far one of my favs.

I flew across the country to get work done here, that should be enough to give you an idea of how great the artists who work here are. Dominick, Joe, and Eric all do top notch work, and looking through the books of the rest of the staff shows quality work all around.

Dead Gods will not disappoint! Everyone here does amazing work. I prefer Dominick, but all the guys are rad. If you want a killer tattoo or piercing, look no further!

Literally, I wouldn’t even suggest my worst enemy to this place. I got a tattoo here, my first one, and it looks horrible. It was a simple outline of a turtle along my spine, Kene did this, and it’s missing a piece of it’s foot. The lines are crooked and I’m pretty sure he was drunk/​high when he did it… They charge way too much, they are cocky and unprofessional. Honestly, go to Skin City, it’s right down the road, all the employees are nice, artwork is amazing and they do not over charge.

I have been getting tattoos for a while and got my husband started in them to. I started over at another shop with Will and followed him over to Dead Gods. I was never impressed with the other artists at that other shop and I am so glad Will moved over here. The entire shop is very professional and they maintain one of the highest quality standards I have seen in a shop. Their creativity is second to none, I will warn those seeking flash tats this is not the best place to go for something you pick off a wall… partially cause they have no wall of flash. For amazing one of a kind pieces this is the place to go.
I have been blown away by Will’s work over and over again. We are planning on moving and I refuse to see anyone else even if it means I have to stick Will on a plane to come give me some ink. Between my husband and I we have well over 24 hours of time invested. I constantly get compliments on my work and I am proud to tell them who did it and where.
Anyone at this shop is amazing. Go and get work done by Will, you won’t regret it!
