History
Established in 1978.
East Bank was built in the historic district known as West Block. The building was constructed in 1896 by Nathaniel West and is listed in the National Register of Historic Landmarks. This building has housed many locally owned Portland businesses including a bank, a drugstore and even a boxing gym. The building has been family owned for the duration of the restaurant and bar.
We proudly sponsor the East Bank Saloon Men’s Masters Basketball Team. Having won 4 World Masters Titles, 11 Senior Olympic Gold Medals, 11 AAU National Titles & 10 International Maxi Games Titles,
they have secured more titles than any other team in the world!
