LOVE This store! Super cute shoes, all the time. AND they are always having sales. By far my favorite shop on NW 23^rd! I work one block away… it can be dangerous lol If you love shoes, you will not be disappointed by this place. Some of my favorite shoes were purchased here. There’s something for everyone!

Cute, small, very Portlandy styles. Stopped by here with The Teen looking for a particular style. No luck. While I love the other location of Ether this one just doesn’t live up to it.
This location is pretty much shoes plus a few bags, accessories, and tights. No clothes like the other location. The store itself is tiny. You could probably stand in the doorway and be able to see everything they offer. There were a few cute items and styles but in general not really much I would want to buy.
The girl working was nice enough, we didn’t have too much interaction besides her asking if we needed help finding anything in particular. We walked in, shuffled along each side, stopped to admire some cats in space leggings (the best thing in there), then shuffled on out the door.
This is not a bad place, which may be indicated by my 2-​star rating, it’s just that it doesn’t have a lot of options probably partly due to limited space, and the options offered just weren’t my style. Someone else might have much better luck there though, and if what they carry is your style then the prices are pretty reasonable. That’s a plus. Myself, I’ll stick to their larger location on Division.

Oh Ether… I discovered this store by accident, I was just walking by and decided to explore it. WOW, the prices are fantastic, shoes that in other stores nearby do not cost less than few hundred dollars, here I have been able to buy between $ 60 and $ 25. The best is this place follow the latest trend, and maybe the quality is not that super great, but all things here are pretty fashionable, and I have bought here fantastic boots which after wearing a lot, they are still holding up and look pretty new.
But they also have other pretty things, still at great prices, purses, bags, scarves, gloves. I have gotten a lot of cute and trendy socks and leggings, here. Staff is really helpful and very friendly, not pushy. I like their jewelry too, lots of great stuff.

Ether is my absolute favorite spot to shop for shoes. This is a great place to shop for boots! They have great accessories to go along with your new shoe purchases. Prices are reasonable and quality of products are long lasting.

I’ll get you my pretty shoes and your little purses too! Muuuhahahaha!!!
I followed the yellow brick 23^rd avenue to NW Glisan street and found myself here at Ether. Shoes and purses and scarves, oh myyy!
If I only had some willpower! Alas, I’m going to see the Wizard about that.
Until that day comes, I’m helplessly under the spell that Ether has cast.

I love this store. I always find a great pair of shoes and the bonus is that they are non-​leather, which is great for vegans! Nice, friendly service and affordable prices. I will be back!

I really come here for the boots! Tall ones! Very Fashionable and winter appropriate!
I wear them ALL over town in rain and snow! They hold up great!
They also carry lots of tights, leggings, and socks. If you need gloves, hats, and scarves, they have them too. Of course they carry earrings and other jewelry as well.
The prices are AMAZING!!! I mean VERY affordable.
The employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Maybe one of Portland’s best kept secrets, Ether on 23^rd is a hidden gem!
Hidden amongst shops that ofer $ 300-​$ 500 shoe options, Ether offers cute and unique styles for on average $ 50. They have amazing boots, shoes, purses, hats, jewelry and other wardrobe additions.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and are always bringing in new styles!
They are known for their sale table too, on average $ 10-​$ 15 options for styles going out of season. Stock up for next season and be in fashion all year long.

Ether is a great store — they have some amazing sales and all in all their prices are definitely competitive in comparison to some of the other boutiques.
Especially during the summer Ether will set out sale shoes that range around $ 20. Quite a steal!
Once you walk inside you are consumed by various styles of shoes, purses, jewerly, scarves, etc.
I will note that some of the products are not the best in quality… but you get what you pay for. Lots of trendy and in season styles. Friendly staff.
Don’t be surprised if you have a hard time moving around the store. This place is small and consistantly has a handful of people inside.

Great shoes and bags, great prices. Don’t be surprised if these shoes only last you a season, they aren’t meant to be staples, but they are really trendy and great prices.

Visiting Portland for a weekend and came across this great store. So many stylish shoes and purses and apparently nothing made of leather. AWESOME, because I’d rather not sacrifice animals for the sake of my own style. So, I found 2 of the cutest purses ever and with the prices, how could I not buy them both? Now I get several compliments a week on the purse I’ve been taking to work and I can know that it’s cruelty-​free. Ether you are awesome! I’ll be back on my next trip to PDX!
**Update: I returned to Portland and visited again! This time bought some super cute pink platform sandals, a wallet, and some cool earrings. I heart Ether!

Cutest and most affordable shoes on 23^rd Ave! This place is constantly packed, probably becasue of their great selection of merchandise and great prices!

i Love Shopping & i Definitely Love shoes, This is By far my favorite Shoe store. They always have great Deals & Unique styles of shoes. I always make it over there whenever I am in Portland.

I’m not much of a shopper but I will surely share my happy thoughts about Ether. I love a fun selection of fashion at great prices, hey, I am a girl after all.

This is by far one of my favorite shops in town. They always have a great selection of cue shoes at super affordable prices. Their stock seems to change up frequently, so if you see a pair get them while you can!
They always have amazing sales going on — I’ve found shoes here from $ 15 — $ 50 and have loved every pair.

ether’s selection of shoes changes pretty quickly, which is nice for those of us always on the hunt for new kicks. and because of the quick turnover, it also means… unbeatable sale prices! i just bought a super cute pair of ankle boots for — $ 25!

My sis-​in-​law and I were window shopping on 23^rd (because that’s all that we could afford to do), when my instinct told me to actually go in to Ether.
Thank goodness for trusting my gut! Ether has affordable items!

If you want the shop a little less crowded, don’t visit on a weekend. I’ve seen this place absolutely packed with fellow bargain hunters.

Ether understands that beauty lies in the details. Flats, pumps, heels and boots. Scarves, gloves and umbrellas. Earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. This tiny store is packed with accessories that will transform thrown together pieces into a well thought out outfit. Affordable prices to boot.

They have an excellent selection of bags and shoes. Most of them are little too trendy to be ‘keepers’ but for the prices, that’s fine. Most of the shoes you won’t get more than a couple of wears out of, at least on their heels. Personally I just love Ether because I loathe spending more than 30 dollars for flats, and Ether provides.
The sales girls are friendly and helpful and be sure to check out their sister store Ipnosi down the street. That way you can get a new outfit for your hot new shoes.
