History

Established in 1999.

Precision Healing opened its doors on NW 23^rd after relocating from an established and flourishing practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Precision Healing is an blend of serious treatment work for the body, with a harmonious and compassionate approach.

As a massage instructor with 15 years of experience, Brandon keeps current with the latest research and is dedicated to freeing his clients from small aches and pains to chronic issues.

Dana Hazell & Diane Rockell are very talented massage therapist that excels in detailed treatment work. They were both students of Brandon’s who have made a great addition to our healing team.

My passion and dedication to creating structural harmony and freeing my clients from pain is what drives me as a massage therapist. I truly believe that profound healing is an integrated experience of unwinding the body and mind to their natural resting state.

Me and all of my therapists have clinical experience treating conditions such as shoulder and neck restrictions, low back pain, headaches, whiplash, sciatica, disk problems, and many other conditions. If you are looking for relaxation and stress relief, this is our core foundation.

I have not had a lot of massages in my life, but I have had enough to know when one is special. Diane asked the right questions, listened to the answers, then got the massage just right. I work on computers all day, so i tend to carry my tension in my neck, shoulder and back. She started with the hard work of working out the knots, then gave me the most relaxing massage I have ever experienced. Seriously, I did that thing where you snore/snort yourself awake. Twice.
When I do talk myself into some form of exercise, it is usually either running or the elliptical. I have found lately that the connector muscles and tendons in my calves, feet and ankles have been very tight as a result. When I woke up the day after Diane’s massage, my first thought was, «Hey, my feet aren’t sore!». Totally unexpected bonus. Thanks Diane!

Dana is one of the best masseuses I have even been to. She’s great at finding the problemed areas and working out kinks you forgot you had. I no longer need to go see a chiropractor for my back. Couldn’t be happier I stumbled upon their groupon. I will continue to be a regular customer.

Okay, so I am one of the Groupon-ers that purchased a 3 – 60 minute per session massage package and boy am I glad that I did!
I almost thought after looking at the reviews that it was too good to be true for a place to have 5 stars but after seeing Dana twice now I know why!
The place is located in one of the older victorian style buildings right across from MAC and next to the doggy boutique store. You go up the stairs and the door for the massage room is right at the top. (I accidentally walked in my first session because I didn’t realize it was a just a single room!
Both massages so far I’ve asked for more of a sports massage (deep tissue) because I am a CPT and have been reading up how important myofascial release is for growing, strengthening and developing your muscles. Dana was super friendly from the start and was very confident and her knowledge and skills. Although deep tissue massage isn’t the most comfortable, I knew that she was fixing a lot of displaced and tight muscles that I had been neglecting.
The room is clean, comfortable and she played some calming music! Also, its been so chilly (ok FREEZING) here in Portland and the bed has a bed warmer on it which was oooh so perfect for relaxing and thawing out my muscles ha!
I would definitely recommend this place out, making appointments is easy peasy online and the experience is amazing! Sad I only have one appointment left :(

After I underwent surgery to replace a herniated disk in my neck, a friend referred me to Brandon. He is very intuitive, sensing an area is tender before I even voice it. He does a great job of doing very specific work, varying pressure as needed, and regular massages with him have become an integral part of my recovery plan.

I cannot recommend this place and Dana more. I have been seeing Dana regularly for the past year and she has helped me overcome so many physical ailments. I first saw her for shoulder pain that was sending pain down my arm, after a our first session, my pain was gone. I continued to see her when I began training for my marathon and started to have hip and knee pain.
Dana’s extensive knowledge of anatomy and massage technique has helped me to overcome all muscular discomfort and made me able to continue training and finish my race. Dana is honestly amazing– for anyone who has left a massage feeling like you need some more– she is the person for you, she finds all the knots/tension and makes them go away. She is more than your typical massage– she really heals the body.

I wish I lived closer so I would be able to come here more often! I booked an appointment with Diane, and it was the best decision I made this week! I told her about my poor non-ergo setup at work, plus my long hours of sitting around and typing away, and then she got to work.
She hit everything I pointed out (worked specfically on my upper back/shoulders as I requested), and I left the place feeling like a new person! Not sure how, but I managed to fall asleep, and when I got up, I sat up tall and straight. It was effortless!
Highly recommend Precision Healing, especially Diane. (Also, my partner met with Brandon, and he said that was one of the best massages he’s ever had.)

I saw Diana today. We talked in detail about my problem areas since a car accident and the roll my physically demanding job takes on my body. Based on my concerns she developed a plan of areas to target.
She pinpointed not only areas I knew were aching but worked others I wasn’t aware of. I won’t say I feel amazing right now. I’m always a little tender after a good deep tissue massage. But I feel so much better than I did walking in.
She also showed me some stretches to do at home to alleviate some of my tension. She was so kind and attentive in addition to being skilled. I’ll definitely be back.

saw Dana again for the second time. I was good for 4 days after my last session, but knots and pain started creeping back in– it’s been years of tension buildup in my body and it is going to take some work to get the muscle memory to forget I’ve been a tense mess.
knots galore; not as bad as last time, but again I left feeling so light and free from pain and tension. Dana is the real deal. I’ve never had work done that’s been so thorough and ‘correct’ (I am a massage envy escapee).
If you are tense, have chronic issues, or need a good hour of total decompression, definitely go see Dana. Well worth the money to see someone who actually knows what they are doing, and she is such a sweetheart!

I’ve gone to Brandon for several massages and my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve been working on rehabilitating a bunch of muscles that have been injured over the years (football, rugby, snowboarding, etc) and Brandon has helped me deepen my understanding of the muscles and their use.

I have been to many massage therapists and as a personal trainer I am very critical when it comes to massage.
Brandon is great, very knowledgeable, and he listens. I first went to him to see if he could help rehab my back, it’s been 3 sessions so far and I’m feeling much better. I really like that he does a lot of pinpoint work and gets very specific with his massage.
