Euroclassic Furniture

I’ve been searching for a couch and all the furniture stores seemed corporate and evil, like Macys with their $ 120 mandatory delivery. I was losing hope but I found the Mattress Lot of furniture which is the highest praise I can give a business! The owner helped us for half an hour even though we arrived at their closing time. He gave us a free ottoman because we told him he came highly recommended by a loyal customer of his. We ordered from a catalog and he said if we didn’t like it or it didn’t fit the room he would give us full store credit. Free setup and delivery, longtime family business. I have a furniture store for life!

BUYER BEWARE!!! What a terrible experience I have had with the owner of Euro Classic Furniture, Jon. I just spent over 6k at this store and my experience was his employee’s will drop your furniture and the best you will get is a half decent repair job, yes you can tell my over eleven hundred dollar entre way table was damaged! they came and did a crappy repair but still I didn’t complain I waited because they still had furniture of mine to deliver, I waited over 2 months to get the final piece which is a desk I paid over a thousand dollars for, the delivery guys brought it in boxed, I found that odd because they always unboxed and did the white glove delivery that was agreed on when I bought all of the furniture, alarm bells went off when they started to unprofessionally unbox it in my house… I inspected the desk when they started to assemble it and found damage on a few different locations 2 being pretty bad, I could tell it had been dropped and with the way the delivery guys acted I knew they had dropped it and i even found some MFG flaws that should not be on a desk that cost so much, it was all unacceptable! So like before they told me to call the owner Jon, so since early January I have talked to Jon a few different times each time he was full of excuses telling me the MFG was sending out some rep and he would come out himself, this guy never showed up and has never called me back one time, he will ignore you and put you off until you go away, that is his fashion of customer service. It is now march 3^rd, 5 months from the time I paid for my desk and 3 months from the time I got it damaged and nothing has been done so I called Jon tonight and he tried to use his good old «my family has owned this business» rant and I cut him short and told him I didn’t want to here that again that I wanted something done and he started cussing me out with the vulgarity of a truck driver and hung up on me!!! I am reporting him to the Portland and Vancouver WA BBB its so easy to do online it just takes a minute, I encourage anyone having issues with Euro Classic Furniture to do the same. I will also report them to the state of Washington for selling furniture without sales tax and delivering it within the state of Washington! remember when Washington State Sued Mattress World and won millions in unpaid taxes… these guys are breaking the law!!! maybe a state sanctioned audit is in order. Messed with a BULL!!!

My husband and I moved to the Portland area a few months ago and were in need of an upgrade to our furniture. Nothing too crazy (it’s not a house) but nothing OBVIOUSLY cheap, a step up from our college furniture. We were recommended by a friend who had bought furniture through them and had positive things to say, so we decided to check them out.
The store has some pieces available for show where you can determine the quality of the items from various furniture companies. After browsing the store, we didn’t quite find what we were looking for but that’s alright, the owner John and his assistants have tons of catalogs that you can flip through until you find what you are looking for. We spent hours searching here and in other places and what brought us back to John and his store was the price he quoted us. We were able to furnish our entire apartment for a VERY reasonable price. I’m talking: living room, dining room, AND bedroom sets. Since we were buying so many items, I believe this was how we were able to save so much.
So why 3 stars if this place is that good? My issues were with delivery. Now, we ended up ordering during the holidays which is always a busy time, but because we had a large order I had hoped there wouldn’t be as many issues as there were. There was a mix up in the size for the headboard of the bed so this had to be sent back and re-​ordered, some pieces took much longer to ship because it was Christmas and just were not moved for a few days. A piece we wanted was discontinued by the factory so we had to choose another one, so we had multiple small deliveries instead of just one or two large ones. This takes time out of our schedules since someone has to be present to receive it. All in all, it took a little more than 2 months for all our items to be delivered so we could have a complete living space.
I think for furniture places there are really two main components to the business: quality floor models/​salespeople and delivery. While we have no complaints for the former, the second and possibly most important aspect of a furniture company (for me) had its drawbacks. I still will recommend this place to friends because we love all our stuff, just to be careful about ordering during busy times of the year since it can take much longer than expected and is not within Euroclassic’s control.
In essence:
PRO: great sales reps, decent quality furniture, awesome prices.
CON: They place orders to outside furniture companies so shipping can be delayed, they have no control over this and can just give you updates as they receive them.

Awesome place. Amazing lovely people to deal with. My friend recommended this place when I moved into the area. I however decided to do some looking on my own first. I visited a lot of stores in Hillsboro, Beaverton, and Portland. Eventually I gave this place a visit and it was just perfect. The owner and the sales woman are so friendly and nice. We looked at some floor models, but we didn’t find everything we wanted, so the people sat with us and went through many catalogues till we found the items we love. We ended up ordering all of our apartment furniture including the living room and the bedroom from them, for a very very very decent price. I saved at least 50% of what I would have paid anywhere else.
I can’t really emphasize how nice the people were to us and how good the prices are. Not to mention that they offered a free delivery.

Seriously one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. John the owner is seriously a very great guy very humble very patient and gracious. I ask a lot of questions and trust me I asked a lot. I have searched at probebly over 30 stores comparing prices and trying to find something that I want. Don’t let the name Euro classic detour you!!! U have to go In. To expirence Just how great this place is. Though the floor models may not be what your looking for John the owner believes in doing busniess the old fashion way and there truly is integrity in this! If what’s on the floor doesn’t catch your eye well sit down at the table and start looking through amazing cataloges. Now I had my doubts about this cause it’s hard to tell how comfy couches are and stuff but really I’ve prob sat in over 400 couches so I knew what I was looking for. I spent three hours asking questions and picking the furnature that we’ve been wanting.
I felt listened to cared for and encouraged. Something you don’t get or expect to get from a furnature place but this place is hands down the only place I’ll ever go to again. There’s no gimichs no weekend only special. No pressure they are car sales men and u know whAt I mean if you’ve bought any home items.
So please check this place out and take the journey of home furnishing with these guys. You’ll be in great hands!!!
