This review is a long time coming. Steve is great! He is a talented musician, effective communicator, and someone you just feel comfortable talking with (which is not something I can say for all music teachers). I took lessons from Steve for approximately a year and made serious progress in my understanding of theory, technique, and confidence. Steve was great in helping me learn what I wanted to learn rather than working blindly from a book. I would highly recommend Steve for adults and for younger learners as well.

Out of all the teachers and coaches my son has had from kindergarten through his senior year in high school, Steve is easily in the top five. Not only has he helped my son become a better guitar player, he has helped him establish meaningful life goals and provided him with clear direction, something every parent can appreciate. He has boosted my son’s confidence and strengthened his desire to continue studying guitar and music in college.
