History

Established in 2013.

Hi-5 Bikes sells and repairs modern mountain bikes that are intended for the trails here in the greater Pacific Northwest. We serve the Northwest Mountain Bike Community with a core riders’ shop that is built by riders, for riders. Bringing in a highly skilled, bad ass wheel builder and stocking real womens’ riding apparel shows our commitment to our community: the Riders. We serve local riders as resource for what they really need: Trail info, modern stock lists, and reliably quick service for suspension and drivetrain. As a Northwest company, we focus on stocking products and brands that live and breathe the mountain bike life as well. Brands like Transition and Banshee Bikes, and Dakine and Race Face accessories and apparel. Hi-5 Bikes is continuing to grow MTB in the Northwest with high level support of both racing and trail building. We ride, We build, We live this.

Meet the Business Owner

Max M.

Business Owner

I grew up chasing winters with my mom, in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. But NW snow seasons can be heartbreaking. In a single moment of spring melt anguish, a great friend took me aside and showed me the Mt. Bike. The Progression was the best, just a remarkable progressing of ones self and vision. This quickly became my medicine in life. Fast forward 15 years, and a whole lot of great rides and people. The limits of that progression have shown themselves on my body. The dream of a bike shop is kind of a joke. But it allows me to support the very life that has supported me for over ten years. No matter what was happening in my life, the dirt and the races, the shovels and the rain– were all there for me.

When you go past just doing something, and you really live it, and you really absorb it in to you, you become that thing. I identify myself as my passion embodied. Hi-5 Bikes is that dream.
