IKEA offers well designed, low priced, quality furnishings and accessories for every room in your home. The Portland store is 280-thousand square feet and features close to 50 room settings and 2 complete model homes with New Lower Prices throughout. IKEA has everything under one roof — complete kitchens (including appliances), living rooms, bedrooms, bath and children’s furnishings all at the lowest prices. Many of our most popular products come with free Everyday Quality Limited Warranties. Here are just a few: 25 years for kitchens, 5 years for appliances, 25 years for mattresses, 10 years for PAX wardrobes, 10 years for BEKANT desks and GALANT storage systems and 10 years for many sofas. In addition to about 10,000 exclusive IKEA products, we also have a 300-seat Restaurant, IKEA Bistro and Swedish Food Market. Kids are welcome to spend up to an hour in our free Smlånd play area (potty trained and between 37−54″ tall) and you’ll find family friendly features throughout the store — located by the airport at Cascade Station. IKEA FAMILY is our free, loyalty discount membership program. Join for free in store or online and start saving today. Electric Vehicle drivers will enjoy two charging stations in the family friendly parking lot. The store has a large solar rooftop array that helps to offset its carbon footprint. IKEA FAMILY members save $ 10 on delivery if they visit the store on a MAX train which stops right in front of the store at Cascades Station on the red line.

Business Owner
Ingvar Kamprad founded IKEA in 1943, when he was just 17 years old. He grew up in Smland in Southern Sweden on a farm called Elmtaryd near the small village of Agunnaryd. That is where IKEA gets its name:

E for Elmtaryd
