Our center also offers rolfing, nutrition and detox support, hypnotherapy and life coaching.

Business Owner

Chiropractic is a way of life. It is a way of living that I fell in love with. It is the philosophy, art, and science of all things natural. Chiropractic and I, together are here to share the magnificence of the healing body, of Innate Intelligence, and of all that is possible within each of us.

As a student during my college career I studied and received an associates degree in the studies of athletic injury and rehabilitation. I became a certified personal trainer, received my BS in Kinesiology emphasising exercise nutrition. In addition i studied exercise physiology. I have been educated by the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley on acupressure, reflexology, and chinese cupping. I received my doctorate of chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West where i was acknowledged for clinical honors and was president of the nutritional awareness, bio-​geometric integration, and extremities adjusting & sport injury management clubs. I also participated in countless seminars.

Heidi is an amazing practitioner and has a highly intuitive style that allows her to gently guide healing and facilitate self awareness in her patients.
I have had the true pleasure of working with her consistently for several months now and she has helped me to clear blocks in my body that were also holding me back in a more metaphysical way. I have experienced a steady and gradual improvement in my physical and emotional state, as well as an increased awareness of how to listen to my own body and support myself in healing, through working with her.
She isn’t the first chiropractor I’ve been to, but after working with her, she is the only one I will go to in the future.
I highly recommend her!

Ive never written one of these before, but I will tell you this. I could not lift my right and left arm above my shoulders, nor pull milk out of the fridge before Dr. Heidi worked on me. It drained my energy and vitality. It was hard to even put a seatbelt on. After twice a week for 2 months, I have the use of my arms back– all I had to do was follow Dr. Heidi’s suggestions.

I was amazed by how welcoming and comfortable the Inner Essence Office was. It was like no Doctors office i have ever been in. The office was welcoming and warm. I was further moved by how warm and friendly Dr. Heidi was. The entire focus was definitely on helping me find healing for myself. When I first got adjusted it was a profound experience. Dr. Heidi is gentle and very skilled. Her adjustments are very direct. I was very surprised to learn that she also adjusts feet and hands. As a very active person it is very important to me to be healthy. Dr. Heidi’s approach to working with the whole body really helped me. Dr. Heidi is all about helping to teach how to connect to your body and learn what it is saying to you. I know you all find the health and healing i did if your willing to put the work in.

I saw Heidi yesterday for a chiropractic adjustment. (If you want to call it that. she does so much more.) The session was great, Heidi was intuitive and took a lot of time with my body. She really worked out the muscles as well as some spinal manipulation. The work helped me to release some tension and the end of a cold that my lungs were holding on to. Slept great after, plus the rest of my body feels aligned. I think she is doing much more than chiropractic honestly, and whatever skill she is using, I’ll take it!

Dr. Walrath is amazing! I have had many sessions with her and am always impressed with her skill, knowledge and warmth. I not only work in an industry where I am on my feet for more than 7 hrs a day, I am also a runner. She has helped me with issues from neck pain to feet pain. She has taught me better ways to run and exercises to practice at home to strengthen and relieve stress in my body. She focuses on the whole body and how everything is interconnected. Highly recommend!

I have been working in restaurants ever since my early teen-​age years, so I have been constantly on my feet for about 20+ years, and for the past 15 years, behind a bar hunched over an ice bin. For some strange distraction of constantly being surrounded by booze, beautiful people and intellectual conversations, I did not realize the physical effects of bartending was having on my spine until my lower back did an ultimate F.U. and locked up on me.” Ouch! Why Am I Leaning to One Side?” As you can imagine, I hobbled around the bar and my pain was not having a positive effect when I would interact with patrons. Let’s just say the phrase, «What’s wrong with the crippled kid?» was a popular topic for conversation. Luckily, Dr. Walrath decided to tap me on the shoulder and stated «You know I can fix that, right?» (For the record, she wasn’t a bar patron, she was my assistant bartender that I hired because she is a great bartender!) I didn’t know she was a doctor, and most importantly, I was scared of Chiropractors just on hearsay, but I was in desperate need of pain relief.
Doctor Walrath saw me the next day and gave me an adjustment that was life changing! Not only did she adjust my spine back into the natural curvature that should be a spine (My spine was as straight as a wood plank from being hunched over for a decade :/​) she also put my head on straight! That’s right, my head was out of alignment ever since I was 19 due to an injury that I did not take seriously! This gal has hands of Magic, but even more importantly, she genuinely wants you to feel healthy and happier! It is just her Nature and her overall approach on Life!
Doctor Walrath changed my whole perspective on how an individual should view spinal health. I am much happier, because I feel good, and happiness should be the ultimate goal in life! Thank You Dr. Walrath!
